Love those trails. I was wondering how much filming impacts your rides, and how pricey is the setup for filming. Hope your doing well and healing fast.
Great Questions. "how much filming impacts your rides"? Do not get this wrong, but from the start of doing these videos, we just start the cameras at the trailhead, and head out on the trails, and talk very minimal, just usually about things that we might see along the way. "how pricey is the setup for filming"? We started out at first with just a camera, yes a real camera, just taking pictures at first, and then with the same camera, taking small videos. Then I finally got a smart phone, and I still use that for still pictures, and short videos. In this video, I used the cell phone for the shots taken on the bank of the river, and the still pictures. we have 3 go pro black 7, when it was Lee, and myself, we each started the ride with each of us having a camera, and bringing the 3rd one to use when we run out of battery on 1, or 2. And then there is the editing...when I started out I used movie maker on windows, but now I have something different, "Wondershare" I do not like it, and by next year I want something better.
used up the limit of letters Part2- And sometimes, we pull off and watch the other quad ride by, or try to show something more than just the trail ahead. Then there is editing out 3 hours of footage, to use for what I like to call acceptable, watchable Video! Ride out to the back side trails 7,8. Lots of elevation differences. Snake hill is out there in that direction. 20 to 25yrs ago snake hill was called “Look out point”. It was clear cut and you could see for miles. You can tell when your on snake hill because it switches from left to right and back agin as you climb the hill. Quite the climb. I’ve been riding that spot for over 25yrs.

Thanks for the Question! I Fill Up before the Trails, and I make it through all of the Trails on that Tank. There is a gas Station a few miles away from the Trail head, and just a bit further is the Trails End Bar Restaurant, they have Great Food. Thanks for Watching, Take Care!
