Yes! When I was in the Military, I asked my friend to walk to McDonald's with me. He said "No...I'm gonna watch T.V." While at McDonald's, I bought one of everything on the menu (Big Mac, Quarterpounder, Fish, Chicken Nuggets etc...) When I returned to the Barracks, I went to his room with the Big Mac & ate it. Then I left & came back with the Fish sandwich. He said....."Man I should've went with you. I gotta taste for some Fries." I left his room & came back with a large fry! He said...."Dang Payne ( my last name) you you gonna have to give some of that McDonald's." I told him I didn't have anymore. Finished the fries & left his room. I then went back to his room, opened his door & stood in the doorway eating the Chicken Mcnuggets!!!! I haven't forgotten the look on his face in 34 years!!! He started chasing me all over the compound!!! I was running from him eating the McNuggets. Mike....you had to be there😂
The occasion was my co-worker's birthday. I frosted and carefully decorated a small circular piece of foam. It was beautiful, and looked delicious. At break-time, she is delighted to see a homemade chocolate cake with sprinkles on the table. She thinks this "cake" is real, because I tell her "it's a sponge cake." ( Ha!) Happily, she begins to cut a piece..... of course it springs back and it won't slice through. I say, "Oh no, maybe I baked it in the oven too long." Then, the real joke happens, (totally unplanned) when a senior staff member (who is not in on the joke) just happens to walk up, and a bit condescendingly, tells her to "Turn the knife this way, with the serrated blade downward." He then demonstrates to her the proper way to use the knife. The staff is gleefully beside themselves as he "saws" back and forth without success. The entire break-room explodes into laughter as it dawn's on him that he can't cut the "cake" and has unwittingly placed himself smack-dab in the middle of a joke meant for someone else. :) Yes he did.
I grew up in the hood (Compton CA)) and I know all about filthy mouthed profanity. I used to be part of that culture. I absolutely, positively do NOT understand how so many comedians "think" that peppering their stand up routine with a bunch of profanity makes their material funnier than what it would be if they don't use it. Michael Jr is funny period!! He doesn't need profanity!
One time, I got two other friends in an area, and we all hid around walls until my sister came by. Every time she took a step someone would be jumping out and startling her.
My daughter kept laying her bike down at the front door outside so we got her older brother to pretend he fell over the bike and was seriously injured.
My son likes to play with words. One day I made a bunch of toast and put it on all of the little shelves in his shower. Later after he came in from playing outside I told him he should take a nice toasty shower to warm up. He discovered what I had done and couldn't stop laughing. :)
and that will be the story they will tell their grandkids 50 years from now about how they met lololol….the day grandma gave pop pop a black eye-but she still knew he was the ONE!!! LOL
I used to walk through a graveyard near my house to go to the store. one day as I was walking through during the day time there was an open grave. Nobody in it yet So later that night.... Me and my best friend just "happened" to need to go to the store for something! And sure enough when I came up on that grave, I knew right where it was, and you could not tell it was there in the dark. What was so hilarious about it was that I got him to walk into one end of it. And it wasn't but about one second later, and he was coming out of the other end of it six foot away!! as you can imagine he was freaking completely out while I was laying on the ground laughing to tears!!
I love the race jokes. They are fun . We as Americans get the opportunity to be around all different cultures. I love the differences. That's what makes us fun.
@Michael Jr. please tell us what happened with Scott and "Tina". The story just feels a little incomplete. I got to see you tell this story live, in Orlando. Having been married to a black woman, I'm white, I was rolling in the aisle with the rest of the "53%". It was entertaining to look around and see the faces of people that didn't get it. It's truly the type of thing I would do to one of my friends who developed "mixed feelings"!
