Just got this guitar 2 months ago. It's certainly as heavy as my Edwards LP copy. But the versatiliy of this guitar and its neck feeling is simply amazing. Worth to mention that you can play many genres with this guitar, not only grunge.
Can you list your setup for your string height and pickup height and anything else you recommend. I’m a beginner and I would love my guitar to feel more smooth and easy to play. I just found your channel love it man!
Hello Andy. I will be polishing my Ibanez AF75D and my ukulele's the same way as you demonstrated. It looks like a good idea. I usually use lemon oil furniture polish. Dr. Strange is a good film. I was not as disappointed as others. I would of loved to have additional things and perhaps a additional 30 minutes. but otherwise it was a good, solid film. I myself I dont have a guitar preferance although i do favour Ibanez. now days I play ukulele as i lost the use of two fingers of my left (fretting) hand. I drink Earl grey tea and sage tea. Star Trek: Picard season 2 was ok. Not as good as season 2. The story dragged a bit more than it should perhaps. I will give the Behringer gDi21 a go. Thanks. Cheers.
Very nice indeed .Í didn't realize Kurtś was an HH·IVe just bought a Blacktop Jaguar 90 love the p90 sound and now Í'm hooked on offsets Í really fancy an HH and a Mustamg tóo·Cheers for the Relic wax tip ·Íłove a darĸ fret óoard ·
Got one of these in lefty recently! Sounds great but my neck is awful. Every fret sticks out past the binding. Scratches your fingers up when you go up and down the neck! Got it half price so can’t complain too much but it’s needs a good setup! Never had such a poor quality fender before.

I bought the guitar second hand over the internet and the setup was all over the place. Had to adjust bridge height, truss rod and even shim the neck. I’m still not satisfied. The strings sound almost numb, like they have no sparkle. I filed the nut and bridge slots, but couldn’t get it close to any other guitar I own. How high is your bridge and what is your action?? Looking for some comparison, I’m lost. I’m German and living in Switzerland. Moving to Singapore which makes me feel sick, 80% relative humidity. Hope the guitars will survive.
I had to do all that and added staggered locking tuners. Ended up adding mastery bridge and trem with 11s and is better now. It's the body that sucks the tone think.
Andy, a luthier I've done business in the past is going to build me a bass. I want it blue and very glittery. What finish would you recommend? Poly? Would nitro work?
does anyone know if this guitar is discontinued forsure? It is my dream guitar and I don't yet have the funds to get it but am thinking of maybe selling some stuff to get it since I have heard it is discontinued.. Yet I cannot find any legitimate proof that states this.

Weirdly some of those recent Indonesian Squier Jags have pretty fantastic necks with no such problems…

Nitro if you want the finish to relic, Poly if you want it to stay shiny and sparkly protected, Poly for the win!

Just know. This guitar can be heavy. Mine weighs 13 pounds.
All I can say is that a few months ago it was still possible to order it from Fender

There is a version that was made that was "road worn" to match Kurt's. That one I believe is discontinued and fetches a hefty pricetag.
