I love your content Jard's but personally I think the 5 sec was deserved. At the end of the day you hit someone they went off track and lost 2 places. While the circumstances are unfortunate and no one thinks there was any malice behind it... the result is the same you hit someone they went off and were disadvantaged. There was no contact until you made contact. Either way still great racing otherwise.

You say your set up is shit, you obviously have access to Coach Dave Delta setups but don't use them, is that your way of saying that they are even more shit? As I pay £10 a month for CDA setups am I wasting my money?

At Jard's level, these guys are searching for the most microscopic of advantages over each other. Each driver's style and feel for the car makes the difference. They need to customize their setups to maximize their particular performance in the car.
Coach Dave Delta's purpose is to give a person that doesn't/can't spend dozen's of hours practicing, adjusting, and running telemetry analysis on their laps, a competent setup of the car that they can use and have fun going relatively fast. If you want to be one of the top 50 racers in ACC, then yes, you're wasting your money on CDA. Otherwise, you're probably getting what you pay for and are faster because of it.

@@Jardier Surely there's gotta be a way to set up a car to be fast and not feel like shit at a top level? Nils always goes on about making cars fast and drivable without using the "meta" settings, and when I've tried his setups I've found them way more predictable and consistent with bumps/curbs etc. than meta and even the default setups without ever leaving me feeling like I'm running out of grip etc. Is it actually faster to use meta settings, or is it just a matter of them being reliably fast in all cars without requiring someone with a lot of experience in specific cars to put together something that's fast and more drivable?

@@williamvaughn8755 This is pretty accurate. With work, wife and kids I have not a lot of spare time and the little that I have I want to spend on actual racing. I pay for CDA-setups for a significant time now but I consider it time saved for what I am really into: racing.
