  • A new dark & epic track from Goluboi - the new project of Brian Duffy (Modified Toy Orchestra) and Paulee Alex Bow (Arcade Dreams, Elmo Sexwhistle, Vogue Renege).
"Aelita" throbs to the deliciously percussive and atmospheric tones of a rare 1980s classic synth.

Great Job Paulee! Were you going for a heart beating with the intro kick? great vocals. Not sure what to make of the video (that could be the purpose?) but man that music is fabulous. Great job guys

Thanks. The various video clips are from a 1920’s soviet sci fi film called “Aelita - Queen of Mars”. It’s plot, which concerned a Martian uprising, dictated the direction of the song and video 😊

AELITA: loved the film, love that synth (and generally love almost all ex-Soviet Ukrainian made synths) and definitely love your song, Paulee ❤

    Noice !
Do I detect a smidge of IAMX Influence in the folky / vaudevillian riffs underneath ? Regardless very dramatic and vibey keep do what you do

Nice track! Decent vocals, very 80's goth sensibilities.
Which film is the retro-sci-fi footage taken from?
I want to see that film now.
