Dearest Geoff, I have to admit that many of the songs you publish are a nice novelty for me and I always listen to them with great pleasure and attention, also because I always find them well taken care of in the limits of the instruments you know how to use and in the vocal harmonies!!! Bravo 🎸👌👏
We are from the same era and I think our musical influences are pretty similar, mine strictly from those in the English language while your's will have the additional Italian influence.
Great great song choice from the 60s British Mersey beat era. Loved it. I listened to this song frequently growing up. Rocketed me back in time. Something about a well done 2m+ pop rock song. Bravo.
@@alexandergeoff A 2 minute, 30 second pop song. I've grown to really appreciate the hits since I try to write songs. When I was younger I dismissed as "too pop" or "bubble gum" and now I think it is a true craft.
Those sub 3 minute limits were the result of the limited space on a 7 inch single in the early days. However it made life easy of lyricists as all they needed was 2 verses and a catchy repeated chorus.
I'm letting you know, because I've valued your comments, that I'm taking a break from music making. Having produced 643 music videos, it's been pointed out to me, that because of the way RUclips organises what potential viewers see when they visit a channel, such as mine, it takes quite a bit of effort, time and dedication to locate older/oldest uploads where there may be, like mine, be several hundred videos. For that reason, as currently I've no plans to do more, I've decided to put some of my oldest music videos on my other, currently empty, RUclips channel. If people wish to subscribe to that channel, they'll see what I produced many years ago. I've posted one video on the other channel and will probably add more on subsequent Sundays.
