    Very beautiful! Did you bisque fire before you glazed?

      Thank you. I applied white slip before bisque firing.

    Did you bisque fire twice? Once before putting the slip and once after putting the gold leaf?

    • @WatajimaPottery
      @WatajimaPottery  8 месяцев назад +3

      I fired them a total of 3 times. Bisque firing before applying slips, then the main firing after glazing. After that, I overglazed them and did an overglaze firing.

    Hi Sensei, and greetings from Jerusalem!
    I'm a beginner (1 year) pottery student.
    Is it possible to come visit your studio on my next trip to Japan?

    Any holes for the smoke to come out?

    • @WatajimaPottery
      @WatajimaPottery  Год назад +1

      This 'Kogo' does not have any holes. 'Kogo' is generally used in tea ceremonies and is primarily designed as a container for storing incense. It can also be used as an accessory holder.
