Hello Marty, you´re a professional like the crown of a pine and also you have that gift to teach that only got people with nice heart and clear thinking. Thank you so much. Emilio.
@martyzsongs. Please teach the hand that feeds by nine inch nails the lead guitar with the solo pleeeaaassseee People only teach the bass If anyone can teach it you can
been playing JJ Cale music since 1971. You have no idea how many people he's influenced. He never played that song the same way twice. Do yourself a favor and get into his catalog and find out how to play guitar. Too bad they only show this song generally and lessons. Go look up guitar man. So many I couldn'tt even begin to tell you what to look for. Jazz, full, rock 'n roll, blues, Spanish the whole thing. JJ said his mentor was Mose Allison. I bet you don't know who that is, try to find out
iWizZx1234 No, you're entirely incorrect. I've watched Clapton play them. He doesn't use power chords in this song. He uses the "A Form" barre chord, starting with at the 3rd fret, and he moves to the 8th fret and then back to the 6th fret. No thumb involved, and different position than Marty plays here. It's wrong.

Chords aren't the way that Clapton plays them. He's not using power chords, and he's playing at a different position.
same chords, just playing with his thumb and not with the first finger
