I disagree with the idea that using items for other purposes than what it’s intended for somehow “cheapifies” it. People with actual money don’t care how they’re perceived if they wear their $4k+ bracelet as a necklace, conversely only the new money wannabes come up with superficial rules like this one. If you’re thinking of buying these beautiful jewelry pieces as a status symbol you already missed the point honey. At the end of the day, fashion and jewelry is just a self-expression. Don’t buy things just as a “status symbol”. Do whatever makes you happy, and certainly don’t follow superficial rules like this one!

Thank you! It's original longer length. My neck is very thin and I don't extend any of my necklaces. I don't even know why I had it on the longer setting, since I usually wear my pendants on the shortest length possible.

You're welcome! No, unfortunately, MOP can't be submerged into water, and no chemicals should touch it: perfume, lotion, self tanner, etc. It's very delicate, so you have to remove before showering, or it will shrink in size. If you accidentally get water on it, it's ok, just pat it dry.

I didn’t mean it like that, I love mop very much! It’s just that as an actual stone, it’s value is extremely low. Van cleef does a good job making it look very beautiful, but in terms of material, onyx is way more valuable. The price of onyx and mop is the same from vca. I regret not getting onyx, because I did my research after I got the 10 motif.
