- These days we have a TON of civilizations but in this video it's back to the classics! I tend to have a bit of a tough time with the britons so I was fearful of the aztecs... Decided to just try to push the middle all the time and see how it goes! Enjoy the vid and leave a like if you enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed all your work on the league recently but you're super right that it's good to come back to a much more chill cast and just enjoy watching you reflect on your own play particularly with a more traditional match up like this. Just the right kind of game to relax while watching
hey T90 have you ever considered casting some games like this but with fog of war / POV? scouting is obviously such an important part of decision making and how arabia 1v1 plays out. but we see these games cast in full revealed 97% of the time. Just a thought :)

Just finished binging the entire NAC4 and I'm looking at t90's archer mirco and thinking "Man he really does not got it". Then I have to stop and realize my most recent comparisons include Hera, Lierry, and the Viper.😅

Its amazing to watch mistakes at this level still be way better than my best attempts in my best games. This is so fun to watch!

It turned out to be quite a good game. I think that mixing in the cav was definitely the winning play. Neither army comp was especially mobile, which means that keeping your opponent off balance with raids was always the powerful play. He did it first really well, and then you got him better.
8-9 minutes in I'm thinking "Walling is Hard" might've been a better title LOL.

Watching this I got an idea. Keybind Mouse 3 (or 4 or 5) to attack ground, hotkey mangonels 2-3-4 and try to volley with 3 mangos fast, covering more ground hit.

What if you make couple knights and scouts with archers? If opponent has monks and skirms, you use scouts and knights.

would this have been one of the rare cases were the militia line would make sense to add with you archers instead of siege or cav?
no, champion takes too much resources to upgrade and then mass. it'd be the same issue as blue had with eagles
Fun game to watch. I don't know how you manage so many different troops and keep your composure under such pressure. I just lose because of a lack of organization past feudal age when playing against hard/hardest AI.

The warwolf upgrade would have worked here. WIth each 3 treb volley you can kill a treb of his.
yeah i was thinking the same thing but i just don't think he had sufficient ressources floating at any point, already took him forever to get the arb upgrade

I'm not very good at this game, but it killed me that it took 37 mins for T90 to go for a stable.
This is what franks have too, but their ranged melee is a castle unique unit.

Just out of curiosity why do you focus so much on lumber walking distances and not care about the walking distance of farms. Is it just because it is later in the game
Can be. Default vills without bonus carry 10 res (expt. hunters), imperial age farmers with full upgrades carry idk 30 or 35 food and walks 20% faster than default so yes, it matters less as you advance through the game.
Why no 1 stable knights in response to skirm-siege? I know aztecs have good monks but if you keep a few knights with your xbow you force him to tech switch, no?
Gg wp, I think he ovecommized to skirms in castle, he does not need 2 ranges I feel like. 15skirms with +2 do the same job as 30 in this situasion. He was late to the tcs cuz of that and had not the eco to go egle
it felt like a year or more ago archer civs were more viable.
now it's just easier to play mindless cav because you can focus on other things.
you mess up once with your archer ball and it's over, not to mention just going skirm monk counters archer opening so easily.
they punished the unit that takes more apm, takes more babysitting and isnt something that can be rallied into farms to raid.
xbow nerf should be undone, like the viking one.

He probably did, most people do but you rarely see it on recs, cause rec stops the moment the game ends. So if he said GG and instantly re'd, we won't see a gg back or any later convo.

Since longbowmen had to train since childhood, I would love to see the Britons get some kind of bonus stacking effect on their archers if you commit to the upgrades early. So they could start as average, but by the time you hit late castle and imperial, longbows are mega buff. Longbows, but not crossbows, since those didn’t take as much training. I still think they should have something like an extra 5 range.
Idk, if you want more realistic mechanics it woudl take more than that. Probably playing different game :D Mass longbows are bonkers in late game, it dont need changes. You add something for britons and they would be unstoppable, you take away some else and they would be rather weak..
I think the eagle came maybe tad late. He should have mixed it when he had golds.

If I´d have one civ thats my favorite to play against, it would be definitely Franks :D
