The proper nutrition part is more important than you think. When I was younger, I worked out a lot but neglected good eating habits. As I grew older, I lost the strength to exercise as much, started gaining weight and blaming myself. But now I am focusing on eating a balanced and regular diet, I suddenly feel strong enough to be active again.

I’m not laying in bed in pain all day everyday before going to work at 4pm to stand on my feet all evening anymore. I’m down from 185 to 165 at 5’4. I’m 33 and thought this is just what getting old feels like. My “chronic leg pain” was just from hauling around too much fat. 🙌🏼 there hope for anyone else in pain. I still gotta work on my lounging before work problem but atleast it’s not from pain anymore!!
My doc has me doing keto due to pre-diabetes/insulin resistance. Round 1 in 2020 and dropped 70 lbs. Round 2 since May 9th, 2023 (its August 24th) and dropped 25.9 lbs so far. I walk, but that's about it. I just make sure my meals are nutrient dense. Got labs done this week and the doctor said they're good. Especially the liver one -- normal. Hemoglobin a1c has dropped to 5.1 since my last a1c in 2022. I still find healthy fruits that are low carb and fit it in like Zespri sungold kiwifruit which is packed with b vitamins, nectarine (only 15g carbs), plums, watermelon, berries. I even have raw, unfiltered, unpasteurized local wildflower honey from the PNW and 1 tsp is only 5g carbs and I don't consume sugar anymore (I use erythritol as its a 1:1 ratio) so its REALLY sweet. I put only 1 teaspoon on my keto pumpkin mug cake yesterday and it was perfect but I think I'll use half a teaspoon next time. The sweetness hit me like crazy. I like to Intermittent Fast as well, not to weight loss, but to keep my glucose under control. Keto keeps it stable, but as long as I don't snack in between meals, and I do some extra fasting, then it gives my body time to rest and do its biological functions which I learned it cannot do properly if there's high glucose and insulin spikes. I feel amazing and my mental health improved so much and I know its due to the body being able to do its biological functions now.
most up to date info on weightloss says the gym can actually hinder progress as it leads to compensatory eating and resting behaviors. If the only thing you want to control is your diet for weightloss, you are still 100% on the right track. Just make sure you don't eat less than your basal metabolic rate or your metabolism will crash and you'll hold onto weight and gain it back as soon as you stop dieting and trying to maintain that weight.
I just lost 10 pounds on accident and now it made me pay attention to my weight in a kinda bad way- I know I shouldn't worry about it, I'm 125 and 5'4.
I lost 3 times that after gaining depression weight after going through an abusive relationship. I had just let myself go. In the beginning of the diet I had actually gained weight the first week lol so it was kind of discouraging and throughout my weightloss journey, the numbers on the scale weren't always going straight down, but I never gave up. I just picked myself up again and kept going and changed what I thought I was doing wrong or could improve in, even if I had a bad week or bad month in terms of the diet. I plan on losing more. I haven't weighed this in years! So whoever is reading this, just keep going! Even if you stumble you can do this. 😊 It's the little things that make a difference, like switching out sugary drinks with water or replacing sugar in your coffee with artificial sweeteners. (Make sure its the good kind like erythritol, or monk fruit, or stevia without dextrose/maltodextrose) Replacing carbs with something else like broccoli instead of bread or rice at dinner. Replacing foods I craved (like junk food) with healthier alternatives like instead of ice cream, I'll make my own frozen yogurt. Ill buy plain yogurt at the store (no sugar or minimal sugar) and blend it with real fruit mixed with some stevia. Remember there's always a healthy version of an unhealthy food/ a better alternative. Even if you go dirty sometimes and reach for diet coke instead of regular coke if you're going to drink it anyways. Just limit the dirty diet choices haha but it's good for "emergency" days when you feel unmotivated to be healthy 😅. Be careful with eating a lot of healthy foods too that are high in calories though. Like cashews. You can eat them but not all in one go. (One of my mistakes that I had to change when I was in a plateu but i was eating an unhealthy amount of them daily lol). Your efforts will add up, and you'll see results! I think of it as gaining diet points/a pat on the back for every effort I do throughout the day/every time I reach for a healthier alternative instead of an unhealthy one. lol. Also, it's 70 percent of what you eat and 30 percent exercise. I didn't focus too much on the exercise part. It takes an hour of walking to burn only about 100 calories. So it's just easier to focus your attention on the diet part. But yeah exercise can be a boost. I just found it more efficient to focus more on the diet. :)
Low Intensity Cardio* High Intensity Cardio is like running or playing DDR or DRS. I wouldn't recommend these if you have bad knees until the fat is off and lessened inflammation in the area. Nonetheless, great ideas. Even for at-home activities: There are walking treadmills that people use while working from home at standing / height-adjustable desks.
The problem is I live i a house we’re they buy a lot of unhealthy food but it’s my fault for eating it and I also suffered from binge eating disorder for 2 years and I’ve gained 50 pounds I was 140 and now I’m almost 200 and I can’t stand it so idk how I will end up losing the weight but I’m going to try.
I have a question. I have a very bad lower back and I have arthritis and every time I do weightlifting I end up unable to hardly walk in the next few days. Are there exercises I should be avoiding or doing to deal with this problem?
Maybe start off with yoga exercises to stretch the lower back for a few days woth walking. Then maybe try squats or push Ups..body weight is great for weight lifting. Can also try lofting dumb bells while aeated or lying dow. On floor so you are supported. If body weight or dumb bells cause pain, can stick to yoga and walking. There is a lot of toning that occurs with yoga..and even pilates. You got this, and it is well.
I walk a mile to two miles a day with 40 to 60 situps and it's been two months and I've lost 8 to nine pounds. But I don't have a specific diet. I just proportion my food
This is going to help me lose weight seeing how this can help with my body and because looking at that fat looked horrible I don’t want that in my body
If there are medical problems involved then it can be very difficult to lose that small amount of weight. No matter how hard you are trying.. it's not always easy for everyone
I need to lose 60lbs of fat and gain around 10lbs of muscle, I do exercise daily and it's fine, but when I walk for more than 1h, I do get pain in my left knee, my ankles and feet. Being overweight/obese really is no joke (even just from gravity point). To think that I'll lighten 150lbs load from my knees and ankles feels great
Was 14st 8 (just over 200LBS) , now 13st 12. Heaviest was 15st. I am disabled so only doing low impact like walking , swimming , weights , youtube workouts and arm/leg stuff at the gym. The diet i am following is portion size (smaller portions) but can still have snacks. I am also really into health boosting Tea's right now like japanese matcha, chinese green tea, turkish chai and thai ranong Tea. I like coffee too but only have 1-4 a day. Most of the day i drink water with sugar free fruit juice diluted in it. Fresh cranberry or orange. Also bio-utiful kefir drink (probiotic). If i have fizzy pop (Soda) it's the sugar free ones. Lol. I'm losing it slowly but naturally and still getting to eat/drink what i like with fruit and veg aswell when i can (IBS). I like to cook from scratch from time to time like soups, curries etc. 1 person in my family is using the injections and 3 of them have had WLS (Wieghtloss surgery) that didn't work. I want to do what i.can on my own first before seeking intervention. Ideally , i'd like to.get down to 10 st 5 first. Then go from there. UK. Xx
I grew up in a very primitive, wild, and challenging environment. Every day, people bullied me because of my looks. I had only a few friends, and I treated them poorly because I was unhappy. I directed my aggression and negative emotions toward them, losi
I started sleeping more and drinking more water. Made a world of difference because I was actually able to stick to my diet. 😅 Poor sleep can make us think we're hungry actually. In my opinion sleep needs to be a priority if you wanna lose weight. Without sleep you won't have energy to exercise not even going for a walk.
Diet is the most important part of weight loss. Prioritize sleep, eat only 1-ingredient foods if possible and regular strength training. Discipline=freedom
Have you tried weight lifting (strength training) I hit a plateau, but did 30 minutes of squat variations and the next day I was down 3lbs…do strength training before your cardio on an empty stomach.
I’ve lost 38 pounds so far. Trying to lose around 70.

During my entire primary school, I was overweight. I even skipped a road trip because my class was heading to the beach, and I felt too insecure to show my body, so I didn’t want to go. My teacher asked my parents why, and they explained that I didn’t wan
That was a fantastic explanation! Too easy to follow. Thanks for posting!
Went from 152lbs to 122lbs so I’ve lost 3 of those! Wow!
most up to date info on weightloss says the gym can actually hinder progress as it leads to compensatory eating and resting behaviors. If the only thing you want to control is your diet for weightloss, you are still 100% on the right track. Just make sure you don't eat less than your basal metabolic rate or your metabolism will crash and you'll hold onto weight and gain it back as soon as you stop dieting and trying to maintain that weight.
The best desicion I ever made was getting the ebook Woman’s weight loss secrets: the unspoken truth, it completly changed my life
I’m down 36 and I’m gonna continue intermittent fasting because I like it.
I went from 136 to 126 in a week planning to get to 100 but having a hard time losing the rest
Dr of Dietitian & Nutrition is very important to keep our body healthy and for happier life.
Cardio And Strength,
I just lost 10 pounds on accident and now it made me pay attention to my weight in a kinda bad way- I know I shouldn't worry about it, I'm 125 and 5'4.
Lost 15 pounds so far doing all three 😊 194 ---> 179
My goal is to go down to 145 💪🏻
Very True
I went from 213 to 200😊
This makes me feel more proud of myself 😊💜✨
Wow I've lost 12 pounds and visually seeing how much fat I ve lost is encouraging
Awesome video! Very beneficial tips and positive tone are genuinely motivating. Many thanks for providing your expertise! 😀
I’ve lost 40 pounds. Working on burning more fat and hopefully get a loose skin removal surgery.
Wow! This is so helpful and interesting! Thank you for sharing. Keep pushing, friends. 💪🏼
Low Intensity Cardio*
High Intensity Cardio is like running or playing DDR or DRS.
Then maybe try squats or push
Ups..body weight is great for weight lifting. Can also try lofting dumb bells while aeated or lying dow. On floor so you are supported.
If body weight or dumb bells cause pain, can stick to yoga and walking. There is a lot of toning that occurs with yoga..and even pilates. You got this, and it is well.
Went from 201 to 186 strength training....still keeping on
I started at 243lbs October 2023 today October 2024 I'm 209lbs. I'm trying to lose more it's so hard. ❤
I walk a mile to two miles a day with 40 to 60 situps and it's been two months and I've lost 8 to nine pounds. But I don't have a specific diet. I just proportion my food
The hardest part is definitely being committed to going to the gym since people get so intimidated if there beginners
I've lost 85lbs since having my son, I have 38lbs to go.
Highest weight was 255 and I’m now 192.
Currently 125lbs trying to go back to 115lbs!
You’re at a healthy weight. You don’t need to loose any more weight.
@@haleyelenabeauty2615 That highly depends on their height
@@dundee6402 true
Im trying to do the same
@@haleyelenabeauty2615 not for ppl who r 4’11 like me
I’m 12 years old and this just made losing weight look harder… I’m trying to lose a lot
Goodluck girl never give up!!❤
NEVER BACK DOWN NEVER WHAT?? 🗣️🗣️
Nice, you keep it simple
And Fasting can't forget about fasting. I went from 265 now I'm down to 253 today I'm about to do the 24-hour fasting
This is going to help me lose weight seeing how this can help with my body and because looking at that fat looked horrible I don’t want that in my body
Went from 120 to 112 in 2 months!! Hoping to lose 5-7lb before April
If there are medical problems involved then it can be very difficult to lose that small amount of weight. No matter how hard you are trying.. it's not always easy for everyone
Cool facts, that will help push people!
I directed my aggression and negative emotions toward them, losi
at 200 hope to be at 175 in no time hopefully
Started at 134, now at 110 only 20lbs more to lose💪💪
I just lost ten pounds 💪🏾 working on me ❤
i remember being so self conscious when i was 150lbs, i woukd cry abt it, i didn’t do anything but suddenly i was at 138-131lbs
That’s way more than I thought it was gonna be! 😮
Wow! That's motivation.
What about stretching or yoga?? Is it needed??!
I just wanna lose 12 pounds by July. It’s so hard to stay committed.
I seriously would be happy to lose 10 lbs!!! It’s taking me forever at this age 😩 and I’m almost 40!!!
I'm so glad I dont lose weight so quickly anymore. i was dangerously underweight
i went from 132lbs to 120 in a month ( started in april)
I started sleeping more and drinking more water. Made a world of difference because I was actually able to stick to my diet. 😅 Poor sleep can make us think we're hungry actually. In my opinion sleep needs to be a priority if you wanna lose weight. Without sleep you won't have energy to exercise not even going for a walk.
Diet is the most important part of weight loss. Prioritize sleep, eat only 1-ingredient foods if possible and regular strength training. Discipline=freedom
I went from 281 to 232 but am at a plateau and can’t seem to lose anything else
Have you tried weight lifting (strength training) I hit a plateau, but did 30 minutes of squat variations and the next day I was down 3lbs…do strength training before your cardio on an empty stomach.
@@monti42 ok thanks
After the holidays, I’m gonna seriously try this.😊
I love your smile, and the way you explain things.
I went from 51kg to 42-41kg, although I’ve gained some back I’m trying to get back on track tho
I just lost 10 lbs and that’s mind blowing to me
I saw you on Diary of a CEO!!!❤❤
Is ab and leg workout without weight good for fatloss?
I’m 143lbs and my end goal is around 130lbs I know it’s just 13lbs and I’ve seen people lose like- 70lbs! The struggle is real 😅 wish me luck :)
