From the moment we laid hands on it, we were blown away by the top-notch build quality and the sleek yet subtly extravagant design. And let's not forget about the thermal performance - it's absolutely on point! We even dared to manually overclock the I9 12900k (though we don't recommend pushing it too hard, that chip runs hot!). Surprisingly, we managed to achieve stable results, pushing all P Cores to an impressive 5.0GHz and all E Cores to 3.90GHz.
Even with this level of overclocking, we're confident that this liquid cooler is up to the task and can handle anything you throw at it. Anybody else notice the cpu temp in L Connect software/ one displayed on the pump screen is the cpu package temp instead of actual cpu temp meaning it’s 10-15 degrees warmer? Is it possible to change this in BIOS or something to make it read the right sensor as others?
I think you are having a compatibility issue
How is the resolution on the Galahad is it good ? . Or are the pixels visible . I am thinking of buying a new cooler and I am between the Galahad lcd and the Nzxt kraken elite
The Resolution is pretty good. In our experience if you are looking at your case even if you are very closer to the glass panel, the lcd pixels are not that visible. Even if you move more closer even then the pixels are not quite visible. They are only visible when you went super close to the screen. LOL and no one will do that I think :)
Trust me get the Kraken Elite i have both or had both I just returned my galahad II lcd because the screen wasnt as good as the kraken elite but more so the performance was garbage compared to my kraken elite. The kraken keeps stable temps and with the galahad the temps were bouncing up and down just in idle notice how none of these youtubers are showing the cpu and gpu temp screen on the galahad thats because lian lis software is wonky and the temps bounce up and down. The cpu temps on my galahad ii lcd would spike to from 31 c to 41 c in idle and after looing into it more on reddit people have been having this same problem. The kraken elite also scored higher in cinebench r23 for me as well
@@teej_youtube thanks for your reply I was gonna order the Galahad but had some doubts . Because the kraken has a 2.36 display by 640 x 640 ( 60hz ) while the Galahad has a 2.88 ips display with a 480 x 480 ( 30hz ) . while the Galahad had a larger display it had a lower resolution and refresh rate . If I am honestly speaking I liked the look of the Galahad’s square design more than the kraken circular design . I am going to upgrade my rig with the new i7 14700kf with a 4070 ti super or a 4080 with a new Lian li case the o11 evo Rgb . I wanted my build to be all lian li . But now I am considering on buying the kraken elite instead
Or should I also consider the Rog ryujin iii because for my gpu I will be buying the rog strix model
I forgot to mention that I have the Lian li sl120 v2 fans and the Strimer v2 so having one software to control all the temps and lighting is also a plus if I bought the Galahad
