The Robinson Helicopters are targeted for the lower end of the market. As such they have the simplest rotor head with two long narrow cord blades. The blades of this dimension with the specified design have a lot of flex, so with the degree of flex involved the rotor mast has to be long in order to prevent the rotor blade tips from striking the tail boom under extreme conditions. Simply said, it is cheaper to use a long rotor mast than it is to fabricate a three or four blade rotor system. This reduces the agility of the Robinson but additional features have additional cost.

Turban engines are very good but piston engines are the best for me because my hiller helicopter and bell 47 g4 helicopter both have them and I alway flew them but I have flew my friends r66 but every thing about the r66 and the r44 is that you will half to every thing 2 times after basically

Typical operation for any craft from restart after shutdown, you cant just take off with turbine like a piston engine can. Also takes time for clearance from tower control.

I've seen a blue one of these takeoff from Halfpenny Green Airport in South Staffordshire sounds way better than an R44 since it has a turbine engine
