    I find it distressing listening to Rod sing now. He was the best male vocalist by far in his prime.

    • @inquiry7
      @inquiry7 8 лет назад

      +scouserla1 Whattya mean. You don't like American Songbook #7??? Now he's channeling Tony Bennett(who I DO love but he's Tony Bennett) instead of Sam Cooke.....So Sad...........

    • @scouserla1
      @scouserla1 8 лет назад +5

      inquiry7 One "Song book" was enough, not 3 or 4. I got the impression he was brining them out for his pension.
      Rod Stewart is my favourite singer of all time, I've got albums going back from "gasoline alley" and all of his faces recordings. The song books were embarrassing, I bought the first one (to my regret) I even walked out of one of his concerts when he started singing that crap.

    • @prettyLawJ
      @prettyLawJ 8 лет назад +1

      +scouserla1 STILL AMAZING! Song writer, vocalist and certainly still quite a performer !!

    • @scouserla1
      @scouserla1 8 лет назад +1

      +prettyLawJ You can't compare this Rod to the present. There's not one backing singer hiding his voice. Jagger, Elton John, Bowie are no different now, they rely on backing singers too.. As I've said, in his prime he was the best singer in the world.

    উনিশ বছর বয়সী মিষ্টি ছোট্ট রক 'এন' রোলার........
    Lyrics:
    Nineteen years old and as sweet as she could be
    All dressed up like a downtown Christmas tree
    Dancin' and hummin' a rock 'n' roll melody
    She's the daughter of a well-respected man
    who taught her how to jerk and understand
    then she became a rock 'n' roll music fan
    উনিশ বছর বয়সী এবং সে যতটা মিষ্টি হতে পারে
    সবাই শহরের ক্রিসমাস ট্রির মতো সাজে
    Dancin' এবং hummin' একটি রক 'এন' রোল মেলোডি
    সে একজন সম্মানিত মানুষের মেয়ে
    যে তাকে শিখিয়েছে কিভাবে ঝাঁকুনি দিতে হয় এবং বুঝতে হয়
    তারপর তিনি রক 'এন' রোল সঙ্গীত ভক্ত হয়ে ওঠেন
    Sweet little rock 'n' roller, sweet little rock 'n' roller
    Her daddy doesn't have to scold her
    Her partner can't hardly hold her
    Because she never gets any older
    Sweet little rock 'n' roller
    মিষ্টি লিটল রক 'এন' রোলার, মিষ্টি লিটল রক 'এন' রোলার
    তার বাবা তাকে বকাঝকা করতে হবে না
    তার সঙ্গী তাকে খুব কমই ধরে রাখতে পারে
    কারণ সে কখনই বড় হয় না
    মিষ্টি ছোট্ট রক 'এন' রোলার
    Shoulda seen her eyes when the band began to play
    and the famous singer sang and bowed away
    When the stars were gone she screamed and yelled hurray
    Ten thousand eyes were watchin' them leave the floor
    Five thousand tongues are screaming out "More" and "More"
    About fifteen hundred waiting outside the door
    ব্যান্ড বাজতে শুরু করলে তার চোখ দেখা উচিত ছিল
    এবং বিখ্যাত গায়ক গাইলেন এবং প্রণাম করলেন
    তারা চলে গেলে সে চিৎকার করে হুররে চিৎকার করে উঠল
    দশ হাজার চোখ তাদের মেঝে ছেড়ে চলে যেতে দেখছিল
    পাঁচ হাজার জিভ চিৎকার করছে "আরো" এবং "আরো"
    দরজার বাইরে অপেক্ষায় প্রায় পনেরো শতাধিক
    Sweet little rock 'n' roller, sweet little rock 'n' roller
    Her daddy doesn't have to scold her
    Her partner can't hardly hold her
    Because she never gets any older
    Sweet little rock 'n' roller
    মিষ্টি লিটল রক 'এন' রোলার, মিষ্টি লিটল রক 'এন' রোলার
    তার বাবা তাকে বকাঝকা করতে হবে না
    তার সঙ্গী তাকে খুব কমই ধরে রাখতে পারে
    কারণ সে কখনই বড় হয় না
    মিষ্টি ছোট্ট রক 'এন' রোলার

    • @JeffRebornNow
      @JeffRebornNow 6 лет назад +2

      I agree, he's great (whoever her is) but Chuck Berry composed his songs in piano keys for the most part. Keith Richards dissects this characteristic of Chuck's music very thoroughly in the documentary he did called "Hail ! Hail ! Rock -N - Roll." A pianist should shine on a Berry song.
