While this is merely a 2mins nugget, I do pray that insyaallah there will be a 2hour breakdown of this for us to understand better - not to criticise or argue about, but to learn and widen our knowledge. Subhanallah.
check your translation - أكثر إعمالا لعقولها means "employing their minds more", as the context is one of praise not blame; whereas the translation assigned here is أكثر إهمالا لعقولها i.e. more neglectful of their minds والله أعلم
WAllahi that was playing with my mind when translating as I kept hearing اهمالا لعقولهم and it didn’t fit with the context, but I used it anyway. JazakAllahu khairan for clearing that up.
There is an error in the translation: Its " اعمالا للعقول," which means "using their minds," referring to the Umma. But it is translated into "negligence." Please correct it. The meaning is that The Umma of Prophet Mohamed uses its intellect more than other nations regarding their religion.

@AbuInayaAl-Athari-po3yj brother the labels has no meaning, you can have the salafi label but be a munafiq or arrogant person where as there may another individual from another group sincere, and tried his best to follow the correct path but erred, this person is more likely to be forgiven and to be granted to jannah than a person who is arrogant, slanders, backbites and causes fitnah under the pretext he is fixing issues. Where it says: "Negligence", it should be translated as "Usage" instead
Please correct the translation
Please correct. This is an important message that needs to be heard
Brother what s that a failure man. I rewinded twice. There s another failure too. 😢
Afterward not neglect but use our intellect.

Vastly different to how Mr Shami Kebabi explains this Hadith.

The first time I heard this kind of explanation about this hadith, especially the last part which is concluded as not authentic
This guy is a sufi, that's why he plays this trick. Look at the great scholars like ibn baz, they would never say such a thing.

إعمال العقول doesn’t mean negligence, it means using it
Yes you are correct, if you look at the other comments you can see I thought sheikh al didu said إهمال
No problem. You’re doing great work. As they say ما لا يدرك كله فلا يترك جله
Thinking about this hadith, THE DEFINITION OF UMMAH IS PARAMOUNT. Is it refers to the whole mankind that the last prophets leads or just the Muslims.
