The new section looks really nice.
Fantabulous!!!!! Adam is the host with the most !!!! Don't forget to get your Vegas Matt merch !!! 😊
El Cortez nailed their update. It’s crazy how much more energy there seems to be in the remodeled area vs where you came in from.
Right, if they just brighten up the whole property as well, could be more exciting. I would only play cards on this side
Thanks very much for this great vid. I was there in El Cortez about 4 weeks ago and saw all the black plastic curtains blocking the renovations' area ... looked so dark and unpleasant. I wondered, at that time, what that new area was gonna look like after the renovations, and thanks to you, now I see what it looks like -- beautiful. 👍👍👍
Remodel looks great. I've been going to Vegas since the early 90's. I'd be fine if I never stayed on the Strip again. Downtown is now Vegas to me. I like the small non corporate restaurants that are nearby, beats any of those overpriced celebrity chef places.
I've been going to Vegas since the early *80's*. Since the early 2000's I stopped staying on the stupid strip fake "luxury" and their ridiculously high prices and blood-sucking tricks to take away all your money, and all the BULLSH*T fees which seem to increase every few months. I also much prefer the vibes of the "old Vegas" and I always stay at downtown hotels ... I haven't spent a red cent on the strip in over a decade.
100% agree with you
Great vibes at this spot I feel! I’m definitely putting this place on my list to visit for sure!
I stayed at the El Cortez that night! Room 5509 on the top floor of the old tower. Great view of both Fremont Street and the Strip. ✅👍🏻
I had more plans to go back to Vegas in the coming months, but my plans have changed and I’m not. So, later that week there were lots of deaths in the news including a cop and two pedestrians getting run over by cars in all separate incidents. The boys are going to have to pay for all that and sort it out for themselves. Good luck with that! ✅👍🏻
Mm, is he going?
They did so well keeping an old-school vibe for year 2025. They even leaned into neon and bulbs outside.
Adam, the mgr, watching LL like a hawk!!!! Adam is a great guy, and runs a top notch joint!!!
Crazy awesome. I love The El Cortez.
Love those low ceilings. 😊
Thanks for showing the updates. El Cortez did a great job! Very nice.
Looks nice, thanks for sharing. Im still a big fan of the old original low ceiling vintage look original floor offers, but Im sure I will enjoy both sides
Thank you for the video. They did a great job with the updates. I used to play there a lot before. I might have to make a special trip when i head back in a couple of weeks.
Another great Video Thank you for showing us the New remodeled El Cortez Very nice !!
Great video and the remodel looks amazing
I'm with you on that, the ones right outside the bathroom would be nasty. I was just about to comment when you said it. 😂
I'm headed there Monday. El Cortez is my favorite casino!
Amazing update!
Hey that's Bluff!!! :D
Amazing place! Yo that was Lady Luck @13:30 😂😂😂😂💲💲💲💲💰💰
love your videos. when you run out of casinos. just circle back and start over.
very nice thank you for the video
Looks super classy. And the gaming machines at the roulette bar don't appear to be just roulette (I was concerned about that). Thanks for the video!
21:17 I noticed how they have focused light over the tables. Less lights on walkway. Chandeliers for ambiance. Nice lighting.
I'd like to see pics from the 40s 50s and 60s, of those exact Casino areas.
Where’s Vegas Matt
ty for this walkway
You Tuber was Lady Luck, Francine Meric...732k subs. Fairly popular.
What were the table minimums? I like when you announce them
That RUclipsr is Lady Luck HQ. Very nice people 👍
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
hope you go back for grand opening
Haha. I thought the same about never playing a slot machine right next to the bathroom. Nope, not for me!
I think the carpet thru out was replaced kinda recently i could be wrong
The rooms went from 40 a night to 200. Not worth it.
BOYD GAMING SPENDING SOME MONEY.
6 to 5 blackjack and triple 0 roulette coming soon 😂😂😅
this is not a boyd gaming property
@williammaxwell8466 yes it is i work for Boyd gaming
@@Dslats I like the fact it is an adults only property, even for hotel visitors
@Dslats i bet the guy that owns it would be surprised to hear that...😅
Do you just walk around with the camera in your hand or you hide it lol like that security guard you passed didn’t say anything
now where will we go for the old school vibe----the music, the smell, the look, the prices----and the better payout machines-----not impressed------a little sad------the slow but inexorable death of classic downtown vegas
Dig the design - not crazy about all the beige walls and dull "woodwork", deep reds and mahogany would have been made it more striking. Thought the remodel would look more vintage in keeping with the rest of the place. It will appeal more to the general public I guess. Certainly not bad. Glad to see the place doing well, it's a favorite for sure.
How do they stay open? Doesn’t look very exciting.
Honestly this is what the entire city in Vegas looks like. Casinos are boring and designed to steal your money.
Been there a few times I think you're wrong the place has a lot of charm and character. Very vintage if your in to that. The service is much better than the big casinos like MGM etc.
You must haven't been downtown Vegas. Downtown is very very lively . A different crowd, but a good alternative if you've always done the strip. I like this new look of El Cortez, I wish the rest of the property had a little brightening up though
Lady luck in the high limit room

Right, he was just mashing the button lol
Not gonna help!!! Lol
