Wow 16bhp on an old school 150cc 4 stroke? Nice! I swear they made small bikes slower as the decades passed. Modern 150cc 4 strokes typically have 10-15bhp. What is the top speed? 70mph?

howdoo these in england came in 175 and 200 cc a popular among miners and steel workers for getting to work as the c75 and the 90 and the c50 were these were also used off road round here tough little bikes we called the superdreams wet dreams lol
Awesome, just love these early Hondas. I have a 64 C200 that was originally only 90cc 4 stroke. The engine was seized up so i thought i'd modify the frame, add a downtube and throw in a 150cc 4 stroke to look more like these Benlys and the Dreams. I got a brand new Zongchen 5 speed crate engine that fits nicely and every thing lines up as far as drive sprockets are concerned. The only other mod i need to do is the rear brake pedal as the original doesnt clear the new wider engine. Apart from that it's all going back together with original new parts, but im giving it a sprung solo saddle seat instead. Im hoping the brakes will be adequate for the larger engine....(.it's only 60cc larger, shouldnt be an issue), but im stuck with the wiring that is black magic to me. Anyway, it's a project i started 12 years ago and only returned to, all it's parts were in boxes and the frame was stripped and repainted and has sat covered over in the workshop ever since. Whats the hurry anyway!!! :-D
I had one as a teen that had some type of gear slippage mostly in high gear. Took it to multiple shops and they claimed they couldn’t find anything wrong. Better if they had just said too expensive to fix with a estimate abd the source of the problem.
