  • I've decided to give video journaling a try! Due to some tech issues, I ended up live streaming this video rather than waiting more time to fix everything, but I'm working on it and hope to have things squared away soon.
This episode features my Wildspring Cardigan, plus honorable mentions of my Cuppy Sweater and an upcoming pattern for my Acts of Kindness eBook. I go over the construction of Wildspring plus how to do the braid from the wrong side (at 16:22:14). And also I share what I'm working on right now!
Notes: there are 17 Wildspring sizes, not 19 as I said in the video. Oops! Also: sorry I was cut off at the end! It showed that I was finished streaming but I apparently wasn't - I promise I didn't say anything exciting :)

I was so thrilled to find this video - absolutely love your Wildspring cardigan! It’s so unique - hope to have it on my needles soon in time for next spring! I do have a quick question about it- the pattern seems to suggest that you can either continue into the lace with the heavier weight yarn or switch to the lighter version of the yarn used for the top part… but I wonder how different the final garment would look if one uses only one weight of yarn. On a more general note, I just wanted to say that although you specialize in shawls, and they are gorgeous!!, I love your garments the most - they are so special, with amazing features, and with such great descriptions of techniques. Hope you will continue publishing at least some - the garments in your New Lace Knitting book are so awesome! The sweater you are working on also looks amazing - I totally understand if you decide to just keep it to yourself and not work on a pattern, but I selfishly hope you do turn it into a pattern :)

Thank you so much! For the Wildspring, check out the finished cardigans on Ravelry, as almost all of them are knit completely in fingering weight. All sport weight might be a bit heavy for the sweater, but is totally do-able

Yesssss! For some reason everything works perfectly when I stream live, but I can’t get my recording settings (as in, where I would pre-record and then upload) to behave. It will come! Thank you for watching :)

I’m ready to start Clue 2 of Time Heals. Can you send me the link where you explain the stitches? I lost it at cdd . Thank you.

Is there a video for the Time Heals bind off? I’m down to that last row and very nervous.

Do you mean the Knitting Turnpike videos? I can’t find anything for clue 5 for either of you.

I started watching an episode where you were explaining the Time Heals stitches and I can’t find it again. Can you give me the site, please?

The links for the techniques are all at the top of each clue in the pattern. There are several different videos. Hope that helps!
