I've now tested a lot of glasses and I'm totally overwhelmed by the Goovis G3, and that's saying something when I say that to those who usually just complain... You absolutely have to test them. It's like you're in a real home cinema, the picture is way bigger and better than with any other glasses. Because of the OLED with 2K each, like when you sit in front of a 4K OLED TV, I have an LG here for comparison. The best picture I've seen in glasses, without distortion and with adjustable diopters and eye relief really TOP... You don't see a pixel, the colors and the brightness are a dream... Please do a test..... I ordered it on Indego and after 4 days it was already here.... The only thing is the built in speakers are rubbish but that's in everyone's glasses so since they have a headphone jack it's not a problem. And the media player that can be included is also great. You can plug the glasses into anything PS5 Switch Steam Deck PC etc all in 2D or 3D... I'm still testing the quality of the 3D rendering, but I think it's going to be TOP as well....
Ive read so many bad stories about indiegogo about people paying in full and never getting anything with no way of getting a refund because you arent protected
Assuming you see this message... do they work with 3d pc gaming, say using Reshade steroscopic mode. I am interested in playing all the PC games reshade allows to be played 3d through steroscopic plugin... but I can't find anywhere where people have mentioned using it for 3d gaming at all... your comment in the only one.
it's partially incorrect. the device has two resolutions - 1440p native, which is psychically wider than 1080p. 1080p is basically a cutout of 1440p by keeping unused pixels off, to avoid scaling, and it is indeed "smaller". The reviewer was probably watching 3d in 1080p, which made the visible part smaller. If he was watching 1440p 3d content, that should've been as wide as 2d in the same resolution.
@@izzylie hmm.. the issue is most 3D content is maxed out at 1080p. So that’s kind of disappointing that it outputs at a smaller size (almost 30% smaller based on the pixel difference), would be nice if it can fill the screen. I’ve ordered the G3 Max, so will wait and see. I’m also curious if it supports 1080p 3D at 60 fps, because I was planning on playing video games at that frame rate.
1440p will be upscaled from 1080p which is bad, but you can do that on the sender (pc or whatever) part I think it should be dual 60hz in 3d but I'm not sure, since Bd3d is 24 frames per standard...
About the 3D=? Amazing so far, really thinking to get it if i can play my games in 3D with nice depth, like on my Samsung UHD 3D Tv with 2D to 3D converting option (2014 model, no more available) Is it converting 2D into 3D or its just playing already 3D content from 3D Blu-Ray Players? Whats when i plug in it into a 2D to 3D Converter to get 3D effect? You guys think its gonna work somehow to get 3D from any Games with this device?
it does not have any fake 3d. you need to supply it with 3d stream. however if you plug it to your pc, there are plenty of ways to convert 2d to 3d on pc
I have a Goovis Young (2020 version) that claims to support Blue Ray Player content (It doesn't work) I purchased the HDMI / USBc Adaptor and tried 3 separate fully operational Panasonic Blue Ray players and unfortunately to my complete frustration none of them worked. I just couldn't get a signal, I tried everything including 3 separate HDMI cables on top of the supplied 100mm long Goovis HDMi. I followed ALL instructions to the letter and it just did not function as advertised. I am yet to see ANY video content including from Goovis of an actual Blue Ray Player being used in an instruction video. I was really looking forward to connecting to my Blue Ray Player sitting on my bedside table to enjoy content in bed which is one of the main reasons I purchased the Goovis Young for. Currently Goovis now have a GX3 (scaled down version of their G3 Max) which I am hoping will change my experience. That is meant to support Blue Ray including 3D in which I have quite a few discs (Avatar, etc) Anyway I'll soon find out, hopefully not the hard way!

I think on thier website on one picture it's show that 120hz only work in 1080p
that is correct
Thanks for this detailed review.

@@givemeanameman1 yes, they are perfect for that, similar to a 3D TV (i.e. no head tracking). Batman Arkham City looks amazing
120hz advertised , i had doubts - thankfully you clarified !
it's for 1080p mode only... qhd is 60hz
I can't decide, watch ENG or RUS version of Izzy LAIF?
In one of the reviews I read, it was mentioned that the 3D display area is smaller than when watching 2D. Have you noticed that?

Apple: releases their useless overprice headset
Izzy: I have a better alternative
So I can play PS3 and PS4 Stereo 3D games on it like Super Stardust HD ?
yep, it's very similar to Sony HMZ

please clarify - do you get full binocular overlap without reducing screen size [that is at full fov] ?

i do have a review of g3x and it does support bd3d through powerlink as shown in this video. I don't own hardware players though
You still think most VR headsets have only 1 display? That ship sailed long ago buddy, what you said is not true.
I would disagree. only the most recent ones like ps vr2, q3 or apple have separate displays.
