  • Hello friends,
Welcome to my channel. This is where I document my travel adventures. While doing so, I also hope to share with you useful travel info, guide and tips so it can help with you travel planning.
This video is the first part of my recent 7 days solo trip to Jeju Island over summer 2023. I explored the island using bus in the first part of the trip, I also rented car and motorcycle in the later part of the trip. I
I found it hard initially to get around because most instructions were in Korean, not all locals speaks English well, also Google Map doesn't work here. I soon adapted and learned many useful way to get around to different places. I hope to share with you here.
For this video, I will first explain about the public transport - the different types for buses. While renting a car remains one of the most popular option for tourist, for those who doesn't drive or simply prefer to get around Jeju without car, this video will be very helpful for you.
I added many useful links below as usual and I hope it helps you with your trip to Jeju in the future.
Stay tuned to my subsequent videos of my trip. My next video will be on Manjanggul Cave which is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE!

Hi, can you share where do u base yourself after landing in early morning via public transport? I will be doing a semi-solo 7 days trip. My initial plan is 4N in seogwipo free&easy fully on public transport not sure if it’s feasible than last 3n in Jeju city maybe join day tour

I spent first days in Seongsan Ilchulbong to hike the Sunrise peak early the next morning, subsequent few days in Seogwipo and last few days in Jeju City. Ur plan sounds good! With the last few days in Jeju City, it is easier to get back to airport on the last day also. Do check out the Dongmun Market :)

If you can drive, it will be faster to cover more grounds and you get to explore more, especially if you only have a few short days in Jeju. If you have more time, taking bus is a meaningful way to explore the island at a slower pace. I will be editing my next video soon for instructions of renting car in Jeju :)

Hi thanks for the info on the bus really helpful I was planning a 4 day trip to jeju so was thinking of going to stay on the south first then go explore or shld I change hotel along the way, please advise

It is really up to you (to stay at Seogwipo city (the the south if you like). With 4 days, you can consider staying 2 nights at Seogwipo city (South) and the last 2 days at Jeju City (North). It is more practical and convenient to travel to the airport on your last day if you are at Jeju City. :)
