Masters is a degree. It can be right months, one year, two years, doesn't matter. It is a degree so it does not need to have a five-year prerequisite. It is stand alone. Just the masters degree itself is fine.
You can hold both OWP and SP at the same time m but if you study full time in Canada, you work hours do not count for immigration or PR at all. To be eligible for stream A, you need to have a study permit.

According to one of the criteria the IRCC policy for applying for Stream A, says, as long as you have 50% of the program completed in Canada (either in person or Online) you’ll be eligible. My concern would be, could I study a two years’ diploma program with a Private Institution that has a DLI number; 1 year of study and 1-year Co-op, the first year will happen online from abroad (outside of Canada) and Co-op year will be within Canada, would that also be eligible to apply for Stream A after graduation?

You are past the deadline to add the 1yr post grad dip. If you want a 1yr program, you can look for a master's degree. As for start date, calculate enough time for the graduation to happen, send time for you to subunit the application before 2026.08.31.

You would need a study permit with work permit, to complete a program like this. There is a bit of risk, but on theory it should be ok. If finances is an issue, just know that Study Permit holders are also allowed to work in Canada.

I cannot answer this question, but I do not recommend applicants to take chances. There are paths and instructions to follows, and it is possible to make oneself eligible based on these instructions.
For over 50% of the time of your original duration of the entire program, you need to be in Canada. Having transfer credits do not matter even if it shortens your program. It is the ultimate diploma that counts. But you also need to have a study permit to qualify for PR. If your perusal is not eligible for study permit, you are likely not eligible. So make sure you choose a program that is eligible for study permit. If it is completely online and won't qualify for study permit, choose a program that at least give you a placement semester, which will give you a permit.
No la. I have many engineer friends and family. The metal ring is a symbol only. Most of them don't wear it everyday. They just go into a drawer like your graduation diploma.
@@alisonh.9392 If you are talking about the ILCAC in Toronto, yes they are DLI, but they do not offer you PGWD so you need a legal status to stay in Canada while you wait. Also, COOP or not is not an issue. I suppose you are talking about the 2-year post-secondary diplomas? If someone is only taking language programs at a college, those are usually not eligible. Professional programs with coop year like 1+1 are treated the same as 2year programs.

That's not really true. Many OWP holders have used EE to become PR successfully.
