Who's your favorite: Mr. Glass, David Dunn, or The Beast?
IGN mr glass definitely
Choice E!!!
Casey and the Horde
David dunn doesn't have alias?
Definitely the Beast as a potential antihero
The Beast
How the hell did McAvoy NOT get an Oscar for Split?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know!! Right!
Yeah definitely his acting was on point
📠
Everyone is wondering that! Which tells you the Oscar is a fake prize! In my head he already is a winner plus we all cheer for our boy! 🥰
It's fake.
Split is the sequel that we never thought existed, and Glass makes it a perfect trilogy we never thought we need! Kudos to M. Night Shyamalan
WHAT A TWIST!
Ikr! I was suprised.
Spot on
Now he can create a whole Shyamalamaverse versus the MCU and DCU
when this movie appear i already know that it will be in sequel category on my boxxy software where are all movies which i saw for free since became a user
I’d say drowning is a pretty big weakness
Hes just like wolverine
Tell Luffy about it!
Like Sonic
@@DarioRguez lololololol Bruce Willis ate the iron iron fruit.
Isn't drowning, like, *any human's weakness?*
I didn’t know split was a sequel never seen unbreakable
Slow superhero movie, claustrophobic thriller
🙄 of course not...how did this get up voted to the top comment...
Mars Hall Bro, you HAVE to watch Unbreakable! it's a masterpiece (I cried tears of joy at the theatre the first time). Split is great too. Seriously, rent both and watch them back to back, you'll love it.
Unbreakable is a beautiful movie, you should really watch it.
I could never finish it it’s super slow
Hmmm, I actually wasn't gonna watch Glass at all but now i think I might!
YAYYY
Warning! Many were disapointed. Movie will split audiences...
Im pretty broken on whether i will or not
I havent watch any of the movies, but Split sounds really interesting.
Spidey Sense don’t listen to the critics on this one
The scars are not self-harm. She's being tortured by her sadistic uncle. They elude to his abusive tendencies throughout the movie. A lot of those marks look like they were definitely inflicted by someone else. There was a cigar burn. Not to mention that every person I have ever known who's self-harmed did it on their wrists and she has no scars there.
When he said that I was like "what?!"
no I'm pretty sure it was self harm
XOVO it was by her uncle it was said in the movie
she's a survivor personality, a survivor doesn't hurt themselves, they do what they can to survive, and scarring herself serves no purpose
Typically people self harm on their wrists for attention.
Most people who are genuinely suffering and don't want to be bombarded with questions, sympathy and therapy, will be smart enough to harm themselves in places that are not easily seen.
If you set the speed on 2.0, you get the story in 5 minutes.
That's helpful just a lot of talking
Life hack
Actually in 4.5 mins
It works better on 1.75 speed but great idea
Even in 4 minutes, if you ignore this comment😂
He only said "they call me mr.glass" twice dude
General Grevious I love when he says it it’s so hilarious to me 😂
He actually said it three times
@@porkybeans1154 Still though
@@_General_Grievous__ yea
Let me show you what it’s like
So professor x is really the beast?!
Naahh...he is related to doom patrol
Nick Arias I’m the beast

... ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED
Shut up
I feel like the sixth sense should be apart of the unbreakable universe, he has the power to see dead people, he’s one of the special people with powers
Josh Bennett Plot twist. Sixth Sense is in the future.
that would be awesome
Awesome idea but Bruce Willis can't be both a psychologist who is killed by a gunshot and a stadium security worker who can literally only die from drowning at the same time. It wouldn't work.
Taylor A that’s what retcons are for
@taylor A Josh Brolin is both Cable and Thanos in the Marvel universe, and Ryan Renolds is both Deadpool and Hannibal King (from Blade, which is in the Marvel universe). It's possible for the same actor to play more than one character in the same story. Hell, Eddie Murphy plays half the characters in his films, many aren't even male characters...
Marvel: Infinity War is the most ambitious crossover event in history!
M. Night Shyamalan: **laughs in Indian**
i loved unbreakable and split. super excited for glass! going to see it in 2 weeks.
Stay away from the Internet to avoid spoilers when it comes out..
And don’t forget the fact it has 39% RT
WildHogKing I work at a movie theater and I’ll be “testing” the projector as soon as the drive’s ingested.
WildHogKing yea and they both die😃
No one dies though
This was an amazing summary. No idea how you were able to fit that all together without missing a single important plot point. Well done.
Pop Talk and Aliens Podcast he missed Samuel l jackson breaking his bones to find out the guy had a gun and that he wasn't lifting 350 points with ease
Lol ! yer name? haha.
[SPOILER]
The reason James Mcavoy goes to the empty train car to summon The Beast is that his dad died in the same train that David Dunn survived, which ultimately created 'The Beast' personality meaning Mr. Glass discovered both superheros.
At least that is a theory from Reddit that seems to make perfect sense. I just hope that isn't the reveal in Glass.
Mark O'Brien umm... I’m afraid that is the big reveal. Sorry.
The Gold Griefer ya lol
@@nightshade214 Well then i apologise for revealing this to anyone who hasn't seen Glass but i imagine this just a piece of information that gets revealed in the middle of the movie that somehow fuels a war between Mr Glass and The Beast? and that it isn't the 'Main' twist? Assuming there is a twist in the movie.
I saw this theory after i saw Split, before Glass came out and i think just an eagle eyed Reddit user had put the pieces together as i think it's explained in Split that James Mcavoy's character Dad died, causing an abusive Mother and then with him putting the flowers at the train station just before becoming The Beast, it was kind of obvious to some people.
Hopefully this is something you can know before watching Glass that doesn't ruin anything.
@@markob53 that's crazy cuz theres another twist In the end even bigger.
Mark O'Brien actually, it is revealed at the end, but at the end(like it was said before) there is one more big twist.
A little detail that might have been nice to mention was that in Unbreakable, one of the people that David "intuits" is a woman in a red dress who is implied to be abusive of her child. There is strong likelihood that the child grew up to be Kevin/The Beast/The Horde, and that his Patricia "persona" might have taken cues from the woman in the red dress.
Oh dope now i dont have to watch the other movies... I still will though
You should, they're great!
I've just watch Unbreakable. The premise was nice but it was so boring.....
Harvey Kent Bruce Willis just seems like a boring guy
@@Kenicavus I can understand your view, but personally I love it.
Profan1ty I just finished unbreakable gonna rewatch it at home then rewatch split
I loved both of these movies, so I CANNOT WAIT FOR "GLASS"!
Check the rating reviews for it 😥
Mr.Glass planted a bomb on the train that David Dunn & Kevin Wendle Crumb's father was on, to discover David's super powers and create the Beast as we know him.
I saw Unbreakable at a dollar theater a couple months after it came out. I smoked a blunt to the head by myself before going in, and there was like 4 other people in the whole theater. One of the best cinema experiences I ever had. Up there with seeing Jurassic Park when I was 11.
@Morning Glory95 Those were the days
MrJonavo you smoked a blunt dam savage
you’re my kinda buzz lol
Trash Developer I know, right? I'm thinking about getting a face tattoo
I thought Unbreakable was boring, but Glass was okay.
Ehmm, what about the mandatory twist?
In case of Split, the surviving girl is apparently still a victim of her uncle, who is her legal guardian.
Or am I wrong?
That is correct. Seems that most people gloss over that with the bigger twist..
I thought that she was going to say something to the police woman about it only because Casey didn’t get out of the car she just stared at her when they arrived at the house
I honestly thought the self harm was from her uncle so totally get ur point
You are wrong. The twist was _that it is in the same world as Unbreakable._ Common knowledge now, but nobody knew it at the time. Suddenly the Beast climbing on walls and having super strength makes sense when set in a world where metahumans were already established a decade ago. Plus, you completely missed the significance of the look between Casey and the officer. Casey made the decision after this encounter that she would *not* go back to being a victim. It's very clear that she plans to report her uncle.
@@WakenerOne You know there can be more than one twist, right?
Did you really say Casey's scars were from self-harm? Did I hear that correctly? I think you need to watch Split again.
it is self harm. judging by her personality, she must have gave in to the abuses of her uncle, but hates herself of letting it happen again and again
@@ernestjanguhiting2654 you really think she put out his cigars on herself? I don't think so. You really shouldn't automatically victim-blame. She most likely felt she had no one to turn to for the abuse he was doing to her which is why it kept going until she was in high school. It happens. I know. My stepfather was my perpetrator. He was also the sheriff. My mother knew about it. Where was I to go? Scenarios like these happen in real life, as it did me. Think about that.
@@arjayking6024 holyshit @ sheriff. What did you & your mother end up doing? Peace from AUSTRALIA.
@@violetbrown8998 unfortunately, two weeks before I graduated high school, the sheriff killed my mother and then himself. I was staying with my grandparents over the Memorial Day weekend when it happened.
@@kelly2fly Thank you. I appreciate the sentiment.
That breakdown and narrative of the two movies was SUPERB! Keep it going!
Dude, thank you for this refresher course. Really well done.
*Thanks for telling me this because I was about to watch these 2 films on Netflix...*
Edit: Did some searching from Netflix and there was none, but I wish they release those films when the movie Glass shows up in theaters.
Is unbreakables on netflix?
CH33TAHXZ 33 neither of those films are on there
You sure? If not, I might watch this instead of asking my friends if they have these movies on DVD.
@@StriderStryker Neither of them are on Netflix...
I searched it up and yes, there was none. I guess it’s safe to say that I might not binge watch for these films instead.
Glass is going to be interesting
I heard it may divide audiences. I just hope I'm with those that like it..
it is, goosebump all over man the movie is epic. Dont listen to critics tho, they got biased by Cliche superhero movies
They all die
Nah it was a letdown in some ways. The first two movies were way better.
Ok this seems really well connected & well done. Will need to watch all of them.
Thanks for the run down! I saw halfway of Split and didn't see unbreakable so this helped! I don't know if I'm going to see glass in theaters but I'm definitely going to try to see it!
Definitely go see it in theatres. Help the series out and they could make more.
I didn't like Unbreakable, but Glass was okay.
I remember in the theater at the end of split, there was only me and 13 other people who cheered at what was happening.

I absolutely loved how u put this together and I can’t wait to see glass
Wow. This made me realize so much stuff from Split I kinda just never heard. Thank you. Everything makes sense and now I wanna watch Glass.... damn you IGN
You missed the part of unbreakable where you meet the character from split.
I thought they were gonna mention that little moment in Unbreakable when David sees young Kevin.
KaMau Mau Football stadium scene
A Trilogy about Bones
David Dunns- The Unbreakable bones
Mr. Glass- shattered bones
The Beast- breaks everybody's bones
Thank you man I needed a recap
Shyamalan's version of the avengers movie
ballistic fox This trilogy is literally nothing like any incarnation of the Avengers.
"Wait a minute this is a movie about superheroes.. What other popular thing with superheroes do I know of.. Oh that's right the Avengers! The first and only story with superheroes in it, this is definitely copying the Avengers. "
More similar to x-men but okay.😐
More like Jessica Jones lol
More likely X-Men
If the Beast is here, I have something to say........KEVIN WENDELL CRUMB!!!!!!!!!!!
And then you'd be dead, as it doesn't work anymore.
Henry Higgins Well it does, but only when he’s not expecting it. You can’t do it twice in a row
I believe the doctor that's running the hospital is the real villain, she may have powers herself.
The power od depowering those who has power with her ability to manipulate 😅
Thank you so much!!! Now I’m ready for Glass
I never heard of unbreakable but I've heard multiple times about split but never seen it and know I wanted to watch glass but I knew that I must watch these 2 before it but this video was recommended to me and saved me some money so thanks man :)
Haven't seen either film, but this series seems really interesting!
What an amazing story. Great to see movies that are not like all other.
I really hope they keep making more of these. Glass was great, and I definitely want to see where the darker superhero universe leads.
One of the best things about M. Night Shymalan's movies ( when they work) are all the little details that were in plain sight on the first viewing but were missed that become almost obvious on second viewings. That is why the twists work because there are enough clues for the audience to figure out the twist but they are hidden so well that they are rarely seen. It leaves the audience wondering what else they missed and wanting to re-watch. Twists done poorly with out enough hidden clues will leave the audience feeling cheated. It is a fine line but when M. Night does it correctly it is fun to watch.
IGN who loves this movie: 5.5
The Last Jedi: 9.7
Yeah...ok, IGN.
I wonder why they even made this video. They probably already had it prepared so...
SWTLJ had identity politics. IGN love that stuff.
@@sparhawk1228 wahmen in space kino= politics. Yeah right.

I went and watched glass but I didn't watch the first 2 movies and I was confused af. I had to come here to really understand what was going on. Great movie though! :)
Also, worst ending in the history of cinema in my opinion.

I'm going to see Glass this weekend with friends, and I had never seen either Unbreakable or Split. Your video was quite informative and saved me the trouble of having to watch both movies in their entireties and now I can watch Glass without being entirely lost. Thank You!
split is by far the best of the trilogy. james mcavoy's best role to date. his acting is superb in this film.
Nice vid man thx for making it now i am going to watch glass
Such a great recap! I laughed being old enough to have seen unbreakable before know all these sequels would come!
What's weird is that I first saw Unbreakable on Netflix, but then almost a year later I watches Split. The twist still felt amazing even if I hadn't watched it when it first released. Honestly, I just love Unbreakable combined with the beautiful Soundtrack.
If you put the titles together you get: "Unbreakable Split Glass"

I have a theory MR. GLASS is a Metahuman but he didn't realize his ability is ENHANCED INTELLIGENCE
@Trevor Ramcharitar oh really I never watch the Unbreakable I only watch Split
EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN LOOKING 4
Unbreakable was ahead of its time. But it was gold in a time were superhero movies was not the norm it still stood out.
Thanks, this really helps me as i only watched from split
If they were smart the would re-release unbreakable and split the week b4 glass, but i guess that ship has sailed
Sinister K.I.D. America it would make sense since a lot of people have seen split but not glass
I think after watching Split and Glass, I'm almost ready to forgive Shyamalan for The Last Airbender
ALMOST
Never forgive. Never forget.
I had watched unbreakable and split on different occasions on my own accord because of both of the premises of the movies really intrigue me and I really liked both of them and I was confused when I found out that the movies were connected but it makes so much sense seeing as to their both about metahumans. These movies were amazing but I just needed to read jog my memory so I can watch glass.
