Well done! I have a great respect for work like this! Sadly in europe no one would repair a broken tail light like this. Because a new aftermarket one only costs 32€.
I do, when you have rare motorcycles there is often no chance of getting a replacement plastic rear light lens, if thats the only remaining part needed you have no option. This guy is on the next level but looks like a rear lamp repair shop.
We would repair too if it makes sense from a financial point of view. But it would cost us far more than 300€ to repair it like this here because our wages are far higher. You have to replace it for 32€.
@@derbrandmeister4660 It is stupid though that we have to bin the whole part and replace it with a used or a new aftermarket in a high price. Usually it is just the plastic lens that need to be replaced. The easy thing would be to just make spare replacement lens for 10 usd or whatever coin of this value. After all the hypocrits care for the fake climate and enviromental crisis and recycle of course.
When I was 16 I made some of my own left and right, front turn signal lenses for my white, 2-door 1979 Honda Civic 1200 (mounted under the bumper). I used thick clear acrylic (designed for ceiling light fixtures) and then used amber bulbs. That was a pretty cool mod back in 1984!😀 I was lucky to have a plastics shop class back in middle school come to think of it!

I will bet there are hundreds or thousands of that exact model of tail lamp assembly sitting undamaged in salvage yards all over America. And, probably many more that are being crushed because there is no resale market for them because you can buy a new unit at Rock Auto for under $80, including lamp sockets, wires & connectors. Imagine what our species could accomplish if we stopped thinking like small tribes of primates and instead worked together as one global society. How much more leisure time would every person in the world have if surplus in one part of the globe was made available to those who need it and excess labor in another part of the world could be applied to truly meaningful projects to make our world better?
Hi I love to watch you fix these light lenses, you are very skilled. Can you tell me what it is you use with the glue. Thank you . Best wishes to you .👍🏻😎👍🏻
I'm not 100% sure but I think it's Superglue and baking soda. At least that's what propmakers and modelers use to build a section with material that'll resemble plastic.
Some may say, third world, but money is hard earned in there world, they have ( remarkable repair skills ) and there very skilled workshop industries, particularly foundry, and machining , nothing like it great job.
I will not deny the skill of this dear repairman but ... The survival of such small businesses depends on demand. The demand for such partial renovations only indicates inflation and the high price of new appliances or the low purchasing power of the people
They simply don’t have the concept that working at a table is more comfortable.. because they do everything at the floor.. go back 200 years in time and try convincing the Japanese that eating at a table and sleeping on a bed is more comfortable..
@Bumped : in usa it is just under 80 dollars...that is close to 6000rupees. The guy in this video's repairing the tail light would only cost 1500rs that is under 30-40 dollars...which will be a big saving.
If this hard working mechanic given encouragement they night even produce proto type with computer aided designs. I hope Pakistan must form team of talent and lauch its own brand of car for it locsl market. If Afghan can do it what is stopping the Pakistan?
I thought the same thing or cover the tips with some fabric or something soft, but they polish all scratches away so I guess thats why they don't worry

Start donating all of your money to junk yards and start shipping all these parts out. It’s a great idea until someone has to pay for transport
