630NM of torque while having only 313 HP ... only Diesel :D
its physical characteristics of diesel engines that they have a lot of torque but low horsepower.
And vise versa with petrol engines.
Compare with 300 hp petrol and it will lose badly.

Yeah as fast as the 330d from 0-100km/h. Pretty nice
Chipped E61 is faster than him. But not a bad car. You dont have problems on our Autobahn. The most of the other cars are too slow!

But you can also chip this 535d :P
Drove it as a rental for a few days a few years back, you can feel how much slower it gets from 220km/h, prefer lighter cars..

BMW 6 cylinder diesel engines, are the best sounding diesels.
I have f11 535d 300hp too and i bought dragy gps. I get Good results on everything except 0-100. No idea why and if i am doing it wrong. 6.84 seconds No launch control on My car either. I got 21 inch rims. I put the brake pedal down a bit give gas and let go of brake

You loose power AT 4.5rpm
thats because lower powered diesel cars only have 1 turbo which is small and works better at lower revs. this is biturbo so it has a bigger turbo in addition that works better at higher recs

Savage beast! I’ve got one, my advise for owners to remove dpf before reaching 250k kms, keep eye on hpfp and chains

no don't remove the dpf
330k km and original DPF but mostly highways little to no city cruising

You guys reviewing some "older" BMWs? First the M135i and now this one :) I like it. Great engine in this one but these dials look awful if I'm allowed to say that :P
///M Fanboy0710 I like these alot more than the awfull display in the facelift.
Jelmerize I also like analog dials more than digital ones but there is also a version of these where the lower part is a full display which I think looks pretty modern but still traditional
We actually like these dials way better than the modern displays. Lets have this discussion again in 10 years and you'll know what I mean :)

My bmw 435d x drive 2014, is doing 0-60 in 4.4 seconds, and 4.1 with using launch control.
Managed a 3.7 now mapped.
