- In todays video, we are going to detail the interior of this really dirty PHEV that belongs to my brother and hasn't been cleaned inside for nearly 4 years, pretty impressed with the end result given how badly beaten up this car was lol.

Haha it was sunny, cold and warm here yesterday, as well as snowing with the sun out. People at the park were having picnics and out came the umbrellas. The Uk is definitely having an odd Climate at the moment. Look forward to your next build

Yeah he was delighted with it. He asked me if I would do the outside as well and I laughed and said I didn’t need anymore lights installed 😂. Glad the links were useful 👍🏻
I've had some baskit cases in my time those cheap cars with the shit interior are a nightmare to clean. You're brother in law will be over the moon great job 👍

My brother owns GLD security does alarms camaras etc I got a bell box fitted and now I need to clean his x3 every 2 weeks for a year , the guy has a coffee and scratch card problem and seems to have a issue with using a bin and seems the floor is the better option for everything and his 2 kids follow suit can wait till the end of my dam made up contract and il start charging him , great video mate 👍

Amazing transformation not my favourite job but when you have the right chemicals it makes the job easier and more rewarding. Looking forward to another rebuild film. Another Fiesta?
Yeah I only did it as payment for the lights, he’s just lucky I said I would do it before I saw how bad it was lol. Nope, not another fiesta, think a little bigger with 3 x the engine size and it’s a v6🤔🤫
@@DaveRebuilds I had an MG ZS 180 2.5L V6 with the big wing on it in X Power Grey in 2005. I had an induction kit fitted to it and it sounded amazing but I lived in the Western Isles at the time and petrol was 15p a litre more expensive than the mainland and it did 5 miles to the litre on a good day but it was still worth it.

@@DaveRebuilds Yes. When I left the island I had to find somewhere to live as I had a house with the job on the Isle of Lewis so that car had to go.

@@felixthecat3423 not at all. I used EZ car care leather cleaner/conditioner on this car. Have to say it’s pretty good for the price point. Also rate meguiars leather wax 👍🏻

I could never let a car get in that condition 🤦♂️😁 and as for the snow the area where you are gets its fair share of snow where im near the city centre and dont realy see it much great video again lots of tips picked up, my wifes cracking up the amount of cleaning products i have had to build a big shelf for them all. can you recommend the best snow foam to get i was thinking turtle wax but not sure
Thanks dude. Yeah I couldn’t drive a car that was that dirty either! I usually use autoglym polar blast as my snow foam of choice as I really rate it. Tried auto finesse foam and don’t think it’s “sticky” enough. Turtle wax make great products so it will probably be good! I’ll try pick some up and test it out as I’m about to run out of snow foam anyway lol
This interior cleaned up really well, it looked like a different car!!.

Have you ever done a campervan? I reckon with the amount of folk looking at U.K. holiday this year you could do well out a Cat N or S van into camper. Would be interesting to see!

What was the scraper tool you use to gather the dog hair? Could do with one of them for the car's annual interior clean...3 working dogs leave a bit of a mess! 😂
It’s called a lilli brush, I got it off Amazon, great little thing but takes quite a while if there is loads of hair (3 working dog loads lol). Other thing to do if you want to save some cash is use a pair of marigold gloves! They remove dog hair from carpets really well 👍🏻😃

Thanks dude, yeah it turned out well! I use meguiars All purpose cleaner mixed about 6:1 with water (the 6 is the water 👍🏻), you can use it neat but I prefer it diluted a bit 😃

@@kevinbutchart7187 yeah dude, it works a treat! I typically buy the big 5ltr bottle and then use what I need, works out cheaper 👍🏻. Links in the description for it and brushes if u want to check them out 😃

What product do you use when cleaning interior plastics. Spray on, agitate with a brush and wipe off with a cloth, what is it? Great videos as always, cheers!
Thank you👍🏻, it’s just meguiars all purpose cleaner mixed 5:1 with water (the 5 is the water 😉) . You can change the ratio to your preferred choice, but I generally stick with the 5:1. Obviously if there is really stuck on dirt then a heavier APC ratio does the job quicker 👍🏻

Yeah it’s low quality, easy enough to clean tho thankfully lol. Yeah my bro seems to like it, quite a lot of space inside it for sure 👍🏻

Yeah it’s a super cheap interior given how expensive those cars are to buy. The carpets were a total nightmare, had to be super gentle with them 😂👍🏻
