so beautiful... your videos are works of art ! Not to mention the divers !
Thank you - it's a joy to film these athletes!
Thanks Mr Dean for the video,so beautiful ❤️
My pleasure!
Another amazing dive Daan. Love watching your vids.. Thanks ❤🇵🇭
Such a pleasure, Ren! Especially when the conditions are this amazing.
Your such an inspiration to better my self as freediver and a human-being :)
That's such a joy to read, thank you!
What a beautiful view😊
Thank you!
Enchanting.
Dank je Joop!
Tres joliment filmé et en particulier le rythme du film fait extraordinairement ressentir le calme qu’elle a en elle. Bravo à elle et au cinéaste. 👏🏻
Merci! Very kind of you to say.
Beautiful and inspirational both of you 👍💙
Thank you Alexandra!
Beautiful deep dive🙏
Really
Interesting
Thank you!
Wow... excited to finish the Vid... 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
💙
Amazing!!!! The water really has been crystal clear lately hasn’t it. I went out for a dive in Cornwall on the weekend and the visibility was excellent
Yes - it suddenly cleared up. We had a big plankton bloom a week before.
amazing one❤❤❤
thank you!
amazing video
Thank you!
Dude you are simply amazing.
Beautiful!
Thank you - best conditions i've seen here!
Lovely film. Great David Charrier track too. I actually equalised when she was diving!
i so love that tune! Funny how people pop their ears when they see somebody else diving, i do the same.
@@DaanVerhoeven Yeah, I like David - I've watched some of his training...but I need a handpan!!
@@danielforde-pogson he makes it look easy
@@DaanVerhoeven Bit like you freedivers!! ;)
Amazing
Thank you!
So surreal😍😍😍
thank you Giselle💙
Very cool.
Thank you Nick!
Good Job.
Thank you!
You make such a scary thing look peaceful
you really have to work with your fear to learn how to utilise it
The first steps are always daunting..
We Freedivers explore our minds and bodies, it is the only way to find and expand our freedom.
It's because we know and experience our fear get replaced with understanding and quietness.
Do not worry about numbers, the joy is where you forget the numbers.
When I introduce people to the sport my goal is the help you to forget about numbers and breath holding, to experience through letting go blizzz.
I'm sure Daan and Georgina can help you to explore freediving, and I promise you can find that beautiful moment of peace!
I am always impressed with people who free dive to such depths. I like watching this sea community that live on boats somewhere else in the World, and they dive to great depths. Fascinating stuff. The human body, is a marvellous piece of biological engineering.
i completely agree - it's amazing, some of the things we can do
It took me a while to see the lanyard I was getting worried 😅🤙🏻
oh yes we never freedive on a line without one
Cool😃
thank you!
Absolutely amazing 👌🌝🌈
Best conditions i'd ever seen here!
Magnificent
Thank you - she's a joy to film!
Always impressive Daan above (well below!) and beyond...! Reminded me so much of The Big Blue (Le Grand Bleu) and the life story of Jacques Mayol...! 👍
Yes, Mayol was a major influence on modern freediving
Beautiful ♥️
Thank you!💙
Nice
Thank you!
👏👏👏🤘😘
👌🏽💙👌🏽
Where is this divining in the Uk? How beautiful and calm
In Cornwall, at Porthkerris
Congrats... like a dream !!! 👍🇲🇽🌷
it really was, especially how the light plays with that suit

This is my new favorite sport, i want you on my fantasy team!
excellent
Great video, magnificent quality and amazing content, it's wonderful, good job! Keep going with these fantastic videos. So, did you manage to catch or make some "ops and bloopers clips" like "releasing moments" (well... funny pee times) as I suggested some months ago? I can't wait to watch them, let me know!
Thank you Carlos - maybe next time
@@DaanVerhoeven That's so kind from you, let me know!
Hey Daan, are you free-diving as well when filming or scuba? Also what is your max depth? Glad to see you guys back in the water. Good job.
i'm freediving too - i couldn't follow her back up if i were on scuba. My max with a camera is about 30 meters (100 feet)
@@DaanVerhoeven Is that due to the limitation of the equipment? Would you go further if you had something handling deeper depth better or does it become too bulky if you would go that route? Also, what is your personal record without equipment if you don't mind sharing?
I really enjoy the calm and peace you bring in each video, can't wait for the next one! Houden zo!
@@PhilipGermeys the housing is good to 100 meters, but the man holding it starts having trouble equalising at around 30, I've been to 65 meters without a camera, but that was 10 years ago. I think below 30 meters i'm diving below my lungs residual volume, and i need a lot of adaptation to do that. For most of my job, i'm doing dives to 15 or 20 meters, which are easier to repeat as well. I can do a few dives to 30, but i can dive to 15-20 all day long (or at least for a few hours that day).
@@DaanVerhoeven There is no shame, especially if you are making shoots of multiple divers must be exhausting as well :-), thanks for your replies.
I like it
Thank you!
Whenever I'm listening that kind of music and watching that kind of diving it gives me kind of conclusion that somebody, like David Charrier, but it is pressure of water now, just gently drumming on diver's eardrums. )))
i like that conclusion - and by equalising you add your own rhythm
@@DaanVerhoeven "This is the rhythm of my dive, my life, oh yeah..." :-)
@@Pereozvu4uvak 😄
The problem with this is that i can hold my breath but i go to a point and i fell like i dont need to breath anymore i can stay here in tbe deep and this feeling make me say to myself if i stay without oxygen i may die but i dont fell the need of breathing
Any advice?
take a freediving course, and explore the feeling with a qualified buddy
Daan, how much training is needed to attempt basic free diving?
This experience is invaluable, specially the beauty and calm one experiences underwater
you can attend a level 1 freediving course without any experience - you just need to be able to swim 200 meters. The main thing is to do it safely, with a qualified person there with you.
Is there any freediving spots near Blackpool for beginners?
How long can you hold your breath?
WOW! And How-on-Earth would you make medusa coming up at the right moment @1:40? How can I book her? :-) And to follow the dive with R5-in-nauticam sail? 👏!!
that took some negotiating with the medusa union!
@@DaanVerhoeven 😂😂😂
Do you know how deep was here? Btw beautiful video 😌
We can get 70 meters in that bay - I think we were in about 50 meters of water there
is she wearing special lens or she dive with nothing else than the nose pinch ?
just the nose clip!
@@DaanVerhoeven thks for the answer have you tested without mask is not too hard for eyes ?
@@Pakemoagaming it stings initially, but then you get used to it.
@@DaanVerhoeven i need to try it for my next dive cause it means not to have to handle the mask(can be kool) but i think i need ta not wear my contact lens for vision
@@Pakemoagaming yes, leave your contact lenses out - they'll wash away if you keep them in.
Is this real time scene?
If so, the diver hold breath almost 4 minutes
haha, no, most of it is slow motion, and we shot several takes.
😊👍
What's the name of the song ???
What's this song?
it's lovely, isn't it? Music is 'Handpanophone' by David Charrier
@@DaanVerhoeven oh thanks :)
