I think all of their live from the vaults are better than the original. I think this one is better cuz u can hear Cal’s bass way more clear, along with the harmonies... and those drums, Ashton in the 1st verse!

I thought CALM was a good album overall, but I was disappointed that Michael and Ashton didn’t have any solos. Luke and Calum are great singers, but Michael and Ashton should have more solos.
I agree! I've seen fans getting mad at other fans because they don't think people should be disappointed, which is so dumb. People are allowed to have opinions! I know Luke's the lead singer, but I always love getting to hear all the guys outside of the group harmonies. I'd be happy even if their songs are just bonus tracks! Calum's voice has definitely improved though, so it was nice to get at least one solo from him. But I also miss Michael's guitar solos :(
i totally agree with you... i was extremely upset when i found out it was only luke and then calum on wildflower, but i guess they all had to agree to not sing soooo we should be happy for them even though it sucks. this album was THE best album ive ever heard though
This whole music industry is cruel and if you wanna get recognition, you can't use bass and drums too much bc then your songs won't be played on the radio (you're gonna be classified as rock music immediately) so that's why
1:15 is the most crisp vocal I have ever heard from Luke (not that his usual vocals are bad they are incredible) he is really moving up and down his range more which I LOVE

There’s this production effect called ‘compression’ that is super common in current music, and on drums it tends to flatten the sounds in order to make it sound as loud as possible. I guess because this is more live it’s mixed differently but I just love the rich acoustics of the drums here. It reminds me of the live drums in 80s songs
i like how this starts off with a creepy intro of notes and then it progresses into official melody. like srsly gna be addicted to this for a good while i prefer this version a lot better. vault version’s awesome

I wish they didn't prioritise being on the charts so much.... the lowkey rock vibes they have with their vault songs suit them so well. I can't say I ever listened to the old 5sos but this is so good
