Recently, Thailand become the first nation in Southeast Asia to legalize same-sex marriage after the kingdom’s Senate approved a marriage equality bill on Tuesday, with supporters calling it a “monumental step forward for LGBTQ+ rights.” this discussion has been joined by some distinguished panelists. Actor Paras Tomar says that Thailand sets the standard to be the first in multiple things, and there is a lot of Hindu influence there. Journalist Neil Patel says that Thailand has shown what inclusivity and diversity mean. We need politicians who understands the problems of LGBTQ+ community. tune in for the full details.

I want to share one thing in my life. I was always been a tough guy, interested in the girls ... always joking on LGBTQ especially on gay things. But lastly I fall in love with a guy. Then I understand that love has no such discrimination. kisi ke vi pyar me aap pad sakte hain. Shadi ke bade me pata nhi ..kya sahi hai kya galat! 😅

I'm not sure why reporters are focusing in on Thailand being the first "South-East Asian" country to do so ("South-East Asia" being a sub-region of Asia, much like "East Asia", "South Asia", and "Central Asia"), but it has been the accepted journalistic practice for this story worldwide.

As a homosexual living in a country that supports the LGBTQIA+ community, where the church marries people of the same sex, rights are equal as for other couples (where until the 80s, homosexuals were persecuted and condemned) my heart rejoiced with joy and happiness at the news of the approval of same-sex marriage! I lived in Thailand, I saw and followed the lives of some homosexuals very closely, people who have a hard and very sad life! I'm sad that the law doesn't cover trans and binary people, because they will live on the margins of society! Another thing that needs to be done is to help all those human beings (homosexuals) who live in deplorable conditions and who have no support!
More combat against HIV, which is prevalent in areas where health care is almost non-existent!

Yep . Over the years Hindus have got abrahamic mindset influence due to colonialism , 1000 yrs of ihlamism . The core thing about hinduism is it's like a big tent which accepts all kinds of people into it even atheists who reject God and it's very fluid in nature which changes itself according to times and need . Yes there is a little awkwardness and ignorance of hindu society towards this but it's not intolerance like in some other nations which throw such people from buildings as punishment

Y entertainment has a huge role like for the past few years due to this people around the world has been more accepting towards same sex couples. Abhi india me there is a lot of toxicity amongst the youth but in 5-10 years I see india to be acceptive of those people because recently there has been lot more mainstream media making related content, I am a from a really backward state but to see my classmates watching stuff like heartstopper and thai bls is definitely refreshing. Love indeed has no boundaries!

Hmm, if India respects human rights, stop discrimination and violence towards minority groups first. Muslims, e.g. are being attacked just for being Muslims.
