Armaf's Club De Nuit Intense Man (CDNIM) is known to be one of the best Creed Aventus clone ever. I personally like it more than Afnan Supremacy, Montblanc Explorer, Al Haramain L'Aventure and other Aventus clones. But... many people including me, have had problems with the new batches in terms of performance. Does the new 150ml and 200ml Eau De Parfum (EDP) version solve that problem?

@@user-or2uu8mc7s definitely the edp version, even in the high heat country that I live, the edp is not overwhelming... Also is longer lasting and less harsh in the opening, just a more smooth and well blended than the edt version 👌🏼

When I first Wore it at work. I Got Unsolicited compliments Staight away. For me, The drydown is creamy and Smooth. I Love it very much than the EDT

Fantastic video. I ordered the 200ml EDP a while back for about £75 and it's still not arrived. This review has put my mind at rest that I made a good decision. I'm currently still using the EDT version from around 2014 believe it or not and it is definitely a beast. Looking forward now to receiving the EDP. Love your videos. Keep up the excellent work. I find a lot of people in the fragrance community are snobs when it comes to middle eastern clones so I truly appreciate your down to earth, sensible and informed take on them. Not everyone with a passion for fragrance earns enough money to be buying the high end niche juices unfortunately and a high quality clone is better than nothing. Thanks again. You treasure that 'vintage' (ahem) EDT. It's the formulation ever. £75 is steep but I'm sure you've weighed it against the EDT and hopefully it is value for money.
Thanks for the encouragement. I don't understand snobs. I have a quite a few niche and designer fragrances but that doesn't make the much cheaper brands any worse. There are so many I like more than the former. Plus, not everyone can afford the real deal. If it makes you happy, gets you compliments and was great value for money, why shouldn't you buy more of them, right? The average buyer can't breakdown notes and don't care about creativity and high quality ingredients and history and yada yada. That's what I wanted to do with my channel. Glad you're enjoying it.

I got both however I believe the potency Of the edt is much better than the edp. Which is probably why the edp comes as 200 ml but u can’t with the edt. The edt has better projection and silage. It’s just the opening is more mute on the edp.

Great! Now im finally sure im goin for the edp! Question: Do fragrances really expire? In this case of Armaf, DoE is indicated at the bottom of the box..I have 5 Armaf frags and most of them expiring in a year or two.
No, they don't as long as you store them in a cool, dry, dark place.

@@saifullahdurrani6322 its okay, I feel appreciated with EDT. Just thinking that do I really need the EDP? I tested the EDP and not so excited, its somehow fruitier, but smoother. Long lasting? Both of them around 6-7 hrs to me. So Nixon said the truth, just finish EDT then go EDP for a chance. Not that necessary to have both.

@@saifullahdurrani6322 I really coudnt tell, because I live in a hot and humid country, but I think it will work for you in Canada, I always used EDT for office which arounds 23 25C, and it projects like hell, 3 sprays totally covered my working day.
I am reading mixed reviews now. Some say EDP does project for some time, and Pure Parfum doesn’t project much but has good longevity. What is your take?

Man, that sucks. One of the videos I had recorded was yours. I had all 10 fragrances, all the b-roll shots of them. One entire day's job. Second video was another full day's job. All gone. This video I lost the start of it too. It sucks but it happens man. Haha.
I recently purchased the Limited Edition EDP version of Club De Nuit Intense Man. I have never owned the EDT version. All I can say is that the Limited Edition version is quite superb with a very smooth lemony opening, but the dry down with the touch of smokiness at least on my skin is an aromatic bliss. Very highly impressed by this fragrance, so I purchased a bottle of Trés Nuit and Club De Nuit Milestone which I received in the mail yesterday. I have enjoyed Trés Nuit so far that is was my SOTD today. Looking forward to wearing Milestone tomorrow.. Take care.
Nice! Glad you're enjoying it. Tres nuit is a goodun. Check out my review on Milestone. Don't forget to let the bottle air out a little. It smells better after a few sprays. Less metallic and not super salty. Also in the air, it's a much better fragrance than up close. I had done a video on ot earlier.

I used to have an awsome version of CDNIM EDT. I got it as a gift in 2020,not sure which version it was but it was one hell of a fragrance, so that after 9 hours it was going very strong.
After finishing the bottle I ordered another one only to find out it was very weak and different,very synthetic and I got only lemon note.
Please tell me which version gives you that awsome black currant note that I used to have with my older batch drydown an awsome smoky black currant kick is missing now,and all i get from edt is cheap lemon.

What the price difference EDP, OR EDT, PERFUME
Yes.. I got both.. Edp version more sweet and smell like mont blanc explorer and also same with armaf bucephales red.
I find Bucephalus very different. But in terms of refinement like the EDP. I would even say BXI is much more refined and better quality. More vanilla, great dry down too.

Maceration is real!
I am adding this review specifically to those who are complaining about the longevity. Try this out, its real.
Spray a few sprays out of the new bottle and then leave it without box and cap to age. Come back to it later and see the difference!! You would notice a difference in 2 weeks but I recommend 1 to 2 months at least. The scent gets better and longevity as well.
I get 8+ hours on skin and 12+ on clothes.
Maceration is real for these fragrances.
Yupp. Experienced that as well especially with these "cheaper" fragrances. The usually don't let the fragrance macerate first like bigger brands. So if you don't like a fragrance that you bought at first, try to macerate them a little bit. May or may not help

I heard macerating does help improve the fragrances performance and scent. You stated macerating without cap. I heard that macerating without the cap makes the fragrance more weaker due to the evaporation of alcohol and molecules. I heard to place bottle in dark/cool place with the cap on for a month or two without touching/shaking/or using it. I macerated my bottle of Supremacy Silver without the cap for a few months and it got weaker. It was much stronger before I macerated it. I thought fragrances supposed to get stronger the longer you let it sit. Which is true?

I have a 2015 batch silver nozzle, but it doesn't mention the type of concentration. 🤷🏻♂️, but the gem is just❤. Only 10 ml is left and i save it just to smell it😅, i am afraid that whether i will find the same quality again. Should I purchase edp ?

Man. You hold onto that bottle. It's the old EDT. 2015 is one of the first ones made. It's the best they've made. The new EDP comes close but my favourite are those old pre-2018 batches. I have to still try Ard Al Zaafran Jazzab. It was out of stock yesterday, so I picked some other stuff from them.

Does the EDP have Ambroxan in it? The Limited Edition version (also EDP) has Ambroxan in, of which I'm not a fan.
I'm not sure if they list it, but I defintely detect Ambroxan. 😊

Hey, I actually did try it when I visited the armaf warehouse before the lockdown. That thing stuck to me like crazy! Super potent. I thought the sillage wasnt much but it lasted forever. I had a wet tissue that I wiped my face and neck with and left in my car for over a month. It rubbed off on it and my entire car was smelling of CDNIM. A month later! I was wondering how and then saw the tissue. When I saw it at the warehouse I thought it was just for guests to try since they had non alcoholic versions of a lot of other scents too. I haven't seen it on sale anywhere. It's super oily on skin though.

Have edt and 9 bottles of aventus 17-21. Spray both on arm 1 hr later can’t really tell difference.

I can only afford edt version which is around 2000 in flipcart should I go for it or edt don't worth it?
If you can only afford one, just get that one. Overall, they should give you the same results. Though do get decants and try them out. I got the EDP because I liked the scent better and was double the size of the EDT, making the slightly increased cost a better deal for me.

Ahh, that's a shame. Maybe you need to air it out a bit. First few sprays of Armaf always do that to me. Smell different and don't last.

Not as good as the old EDT pre-2017 batches, but defitely better longevity compared to the new EDTs. 😊

Hey, Amber isn't really my favourite note. But I do enjoy D&G The One and Issey Miyake Noire Ambre. If you're looking for something cheaper, I like Franck Olivier Amber. Amazing for the price. Fragrabce world has a clone of D&G the one which I bought just yesterday.

SUGGEST SOME ARMAR, LATTAFA & RASASI PERFUMES BETWEEN 1000-2000 INR.
Not sure of it being only a France version.

I have a 2020 batch of the EDT and 2022 EDP and my EDT is way stronger. It projects and lasts easily 8h on my skin. Imho the EDT is better
Just received the edp and it’s too subtle now sure if I should have gotten the edt. Also never tried creed aventus.
I also bought armaf legesi seems to last longer. I like it better. Ppl say it smells like channel egoist never tried it either. I’ll give the fragrances a few days. And that’s my first impression of these scents

What's the batch date of your edp bottle? I have an August 2020 bottle and after about 4 wearings, I find it weaker than the edt
@@shave-a-thon3415 same thing i have to put on 10 to 20 for it to last. but i usally over spray 10 to 15 with other fragrances. my batch of edp is #309239, 00875 pd 09/2020 ed:09/2025 this is what i found on the box. kind of disapointed on the on the longevity. for the price I could of got the mont blanc version explorer or 2 armaf edt. Would you recomend the orignal edt instead ? what im thinking of doing is layering with molocule one or 2 and scented oils
I have compared EDT 2019 vs. EDP LE. To make story short, EDP LE is not an upgrade vs EDT. EDP LE has better presentation and slightly better opening which is not that harsh. But lemon and synthetic vibe is still there, although little less offensive. I was expecting it to be more complex, denser, richer, which it is not. The smell tone is exactly as EDT, with little less roughness.
Compared hand to hand, EDT lasts just a little bit longer. Also, it seems to project little better.
Bear in mind that price for EDP LE is 2x as high.
In conclusion: I haven't tried 2020 EDT batches, but this 2019 EDT wins over EDP LE.
Haven't tried the Limited Edition. But from what you're saying, saves me the buy! 😊

@@FaheemKhan-yx2fh I put 3 squirts on my neck and one on wrist and one at chlotes at 4pm. At midnight when I turned around myself I could barely smell the trail from my neck, but on the wrist it was easily evident. 24 hours later it is still easily noticable on the wrist and on the chlotes. Hope this helps
