I still have my EDT 2nd Batch (black sprayer) and it is still my holy grail when it comes to scents and only use it for very special occasions. CDN Intense really saved me some bucks compared to Creed Aventus. My best bud knew I used to use Creed Aventus and until now he doesn't know I switched to CDN Intense and he cannot even tell the difference 😁😁😁

Me too, I got a couole of older batches of Aventus. The EDT's smokiness of the birch is what I like. I also have the EDT o the CDNIM. I'd have to stick with it, then. Great review.

Just got the edp and limited and I agree with you. They both smell the same, however the limited is definitely smoother and softer than the edp. The limited is not as loud (but still loud enough, about 75% as loud) as the edp. I think I'll use the limited at work and use the edp when I'm going to be outside to be a bit louder.

The EDP lacks projection, probably it was the scent trail that brought you that compliment from the food store admin
I've tried them All besides the EDT harsh opening I love it the Best the Dry Down is just Beautiful plus it Projects the Best on my Skin

Hi Doc. I bought this now. EDT Kadarating lang. grabe! Beastmode. 😅 harsh at first! Pero ang ganda ng dry down. I subscribed to your channel during pandemic. And now I bought this, parang sarap gamitin sa work.
It’s funny how one perfume guru says oh it’s lemon plage and all sheeps repeats that bs. Yes edt has very bad opening for 2-4 weeks then it smells amazing and smokes out all competitors. Great review tho edt is my fav got 11/2021 and it’s so smooth even opening.
I never did get the lemon pledge smell and I had a 2017 bottle of EDT.

Doc, May I ask.. Which one is better CDNIM made in france or UAE?

The edt has more alcohol in it so the fragrance will kick out more while the other 2 is more pure and refine…scentwise the 2 is better quality and its not only about packaging. Scent is subjective so to each his own…according to preference. Peace✌🏿

Great attention to detail bro. This was helpful. Really want to get my hands on edp now. Guess edp is a more refined interpretation of the edt. Imo as limited edition is redundant as well.

Sometimes Limited Edition use better quality ingredients or the finish product from that batch smells much better. But to the average Joe and Me we wont notice it but yes you are right that some Limited Edition or Special Edition are just added designs to bottles and boxes and a marketing tactic.

pure parfum is good for this summer?
The EDT 2015-2017 (sliver cap) is the best one in my opinion. Has that deep smoke(birch) that I really enjoy. Great review and comparison man!

Does the EDP have the synthetic chemically smell that EDT has? Does EDP still have that aventus vibe? I really want to get the EDP but I don't want to waste my money and ending up smelling like the EDT chemical smell. By the way, I have the EDT version and I don't like the chemical smell of it; it gives me a headache.
EDP doesn't have the harsh opening of EDT. They have the same dry down. You'll get more juice with the 200ml EDP so value wise, EDP is better than the current EDT formulation
Excelente review. I think now 2022. The first will be cdni perfum Edp . Cause edt now is too reformulated and low performance
Agree 100%..last year I owned was a 2020 of cdnim EDT..it was already pretty week by that point I got the edp cdnim it's 2024..still pretty strong.
the box says limited edition "parfum" but bottle says limited edition "EDP" , so do you think "EDP" is the mis-print? I have the same one btw. I just donno if it is same as limited edition "parfum"

I guess the 2019 batches don't last as long as your 2017 batch.
My 2019 bathc Lasts incredibly long on clothes but definitely doesn't reach 12 hour mark as you've said.
Yes. It will definitely last longer on the clothes but will not project that much. That's one of tradeoffs between spraying on the skin vs spraying on the clothes 😊

On the box LE parfum but on the bottle LE edp?
Gentleman I suggest you buy the Limited edition as it's as close to the original CDNIM as you'll get. The current Edt and Edp is absolute watered-down trash and should be left in storage until Armaf or Sterling make the logical decision to return to the original formula in terms of projection and performance with the Limited edition opening.
They'd make a fortune.

Kaya EDP binili ko. Aside sa fact na 200ml siya very minute lang yung difference niya sa Limited Edition. True bang for your buck yung EDP kaya wag na kayo magdalawang-isip.

Edp is the frutiest. Edt is pineapple smokey. Limited is a balance.

I have a 2017/10 production model with the black sprayer. I think I need to pick up the EDP and save the EDT. Don't get me wrong the EDT is very harsh in the opening and the smokiness is way too much. I'm looking for a well balanced mixed between lemon and smoke.

Yes..those may be (your results) however..you were also using the early batch of the EDT with the silver cap.. obviously it would be stronger..if you had tried a EDT batch from the same year the edp and LE were from the results would have been much different..EDT is a shell of its former self..people Even in 2024 keep acting like the edt is best to own . they're just kidding themselves.

Where to buy?
Limited edition arrived from Israel today, but parfum was changed to eau de parfum. And the smell is light and the duration is short. I feel very bad.

From what i have from the latest batch i have the "Black Ribbon" Limited Edition of the Parfum (Where on my bottle and packaging it says Parfum) Which is the Highest Concentration

That is why some people got more compliment when they use cdni EDT.
Little or no compliment when use creed or cdni parfum.
Please compare them with the new Pure Parfum version.
Just realised that there are two different concentrations of the limited edition bottles, Parfum & Eau De Parfum. It is said that the Parfum version is the same as the EDP but in a different bottle, whilst the Eau De Parfum version is like what’s described in this video.

Thank you so much bro. I haven't tested did a full wearing of Ian Darcy fragrances but, when I was able to smell their version Aventus, it reminded me of CDNIM. Definitely a good alternative to Aventus for beginners.
