With this thing you said i have kinda came up with a theory, okay so what if the fishes we see like the bass shark dolphin. What if they were the employees and like the food was like sleeping pills crushed and WAIT EITHER THE LAMU GUY PUT THE DR8GS INTO THE FOOD AND THEY PASSED OUT OR THE CHEFS ARE INTO THE PLAN, but yes. I think those employees are the fishes we fought. You can CLEARLY SEE that in seamongrel’s fandom have human and fish phases like for the smelling salt guy is the leatherback sea turtle and like the janitor is probably the dolphin because he is the one who was in the lobby. I bet the creators of the park were friends partners or one of the people who didn’t laugh at his experiment and the creator probably died and he had transferred the park to Lamu’s dad and after his death he created Lamu and you know what happens next, BUTTTT that’s just my theory so I’m not 100 percent sure but it’s my theory like what I have gathered up everything from his theory the papers he red and yeah so uhmmm like this if you want.
@@Timmy-f6pactually, I think it might be a bit deeper. Around the 18:50-19:00 mark on the bottom of the blue paper, after showing his grievances with his co workers, it explains how he used to be a scientist and were close to a "breakthrough" with his mentor, before being demoted to selling disgusting **beverages and snacks**. The only staff member that wasn't named was the person at the snack bar, just called "man". Also, if you look at his sprite, he looks fairly similar to the guy on the left in the photo you find in the locker room. I believe that is the apprentice since I think we saw the guy on the right was also seen in Hungry Lamu, but not too sure. (Also just to make sure, we can guess that this is the same people in the paper bc the photo has "genetics lab" on them) So, what if Lamu was this "breakthrough" that almost happened, and something bad happened to the scientists where the father/mentor either was fired or left, and the apprentice was demoted either for convenience or bc something bad happens with their "experiment". So, being tired on the life he was in, he basically said fuck it, drugged the food with the mutagen thing, and fed it to his coworkers as a testament to his old life and achievements. After all, that was the last time we saw "the man"
My theory is that the collegue of Lamu's dad, who now worked here put some kind of chemicals into the food he served, and all the employees turned into fish-like monsters from it. The guard guy with the mustace was talking about how badly he had to go because of the food, 5 minutes later a fish with a similar mustace shows up. When we go back, the employee lady disappeared without a trace, no blood, no body, nothing, but there is, conveniently, a giant jellyfish in her place. Coincidence? I think not
True, you can even tell both by that blue paper in the electrical room and the photo in the locker room both match with the guy in the snack bar thing, both in occupation and the sprite matching with who we would assume to be the apprentice to Lamu's dad
I believe it’s heavily implied that the guy in the concession stand was once the assistant of Hungry Lamu’s dad when they were doing genetic experiments, and when they were kicked out of the science field, the assistant had to find a job at the aquarium to make ends meet. And of course, he’s a pretty self-centered guy and hates his coworkers (and he thinks they are beneath him), so he puts something in the food that I guess all the employees ate, and whatever was in the food turned all the aquarium employees into human-animal hybrid monsters like Lamu. If you look at the key features of each employee you meet, you can determine which employee was fused with which animal. And a neat thing to discover is that the names of the animals sorta share the same first letter with the names of people they are associated with. So you see with the bass, it has a mustache like Brad (Brad = largemouth Bass), the shark has a chin dimple like Seb (Seb = hammerhead Shark) (he also has blood all over his face to heavily imply that he was the one that ate the person’s head), the jellyfish monster has a mole like Jen (Jen = Jellyfish), the leatherback sea turtle’s eyes are squinting like Sally’s (Sally = Sea turtle), and the dolphin’s face is very pale white (bleached?) like Demi’s hair (Demi = Dolphin). It’s very interesting stuff when you see things start to connect
And in Hungry Lamu on the first page of Lamu’s book (from the cave) where it says name you can very faintly see Larry written on it. Which is Lamu’s real name, and Larry=llama.

I LOVE the ocean! I love how eerie it is, how endless it is, and how we may never discover it all and all its secrets within! I want to be an oceanographer and a marine biologist to explore ALL of it! I love deep sea creatures and how little we actually know about even the most common to find ones and how theres more than likely countless others we have no idea even exists! I love it and am obsessed with the ocean!
I’m so sad I keep missing the initial uploads! But I absolutely ADORE aquariums, if you live close enough to it you should visit aquarium of the pacific, it’s always been my favorite for some reason. When I was in 1st grade I was obsessed with sharks and it’s left a lasting impression on me, sharks are still one of my favorite animals, sadly I didn’t retain any of the info I had learned during that obsession but it’s whatever. Glad to see you post consistently!
I feel like the mutated fish monsters are actually the staff because near the entry at the start of the game, a employee asked himself: “what did he put in the food today?” Implying that the person at the snack counter must’ve spiked the food with some powder or drugs that turned the employees into horrifying mutants because the first encounter (large-mouth bass) had a moustache. The employee whose stomach was having a really bad day also had a moustache this gives away its the same guy so this may explain this all, it’s all drugged employees. Also, side theory here the snack guy may be the one who drugged all the employees simply because they found a not (who I suspect Mr. Snacks counter wrote) saying that he was working with a scientist and they were close to what they call a “breakthrough” and he complains about all the employees and says they will get what they deserve so I think he may be the one that drugged everyone idk tho.
I saw your non spoiler short on this game and when you said it was a "sequel" to lamu my mind just exploded with lore possiblities. I havent finished the video but the idea that its the same world makes so much sense

Its strange and lowkey disturbing that the dolphin has human skin and features on its face but still has its long dolphin muzzle, unlike the other fishies who just have human heads
Wonder if Jinmen was part of the inspiration for Seamongrel and Hungry Lamu, the sentient animals with human faces and a drive to kill humans is kinda there in the same way
As someone who’s deeply into marine biology seeing this video from one of my favorite RUclipsrs is truly something that makes my day Thank u dude for your videos
The first encounter of a man fish hybird was brad you can see that he said "What was in that food that that guy made?" Because of that someone put something in his food that causes him to transform into a hostile largemouth bass
*Hey friends* you always cute my day and depression just started watching and told my friends to watch I love your videos thank you Now I wil continue this video about the sea
The style/presentation of this game is so unique! Reminds me a little of Ib... I've volunteered at an aquarium for a few years. I'd love to see smth like Resident Evil take on an aquarium setting. I think it's suited given the interconnected paths btwn guest and staff areas, lots of tools lying around, and ofc aquatic monstrosities.
I loved Endless Ocean as a kid! I played it all the time! Needless to say, I do very much love aquariums and learning about aquatic life. I still go to them as often as I can.
The Meg 1 & 2 shows a bit of the theory of the Mariana Trench, where strange and even prehistoric animals live down there, wish there was a horror game based on the very Trench itself
35:29 at that moment I realized, the guy in the beginning said the food was bad and hurting his stomach. All the employees were fed some food with chemicals allowing them to become mutant killing sea creatures 36:56 talking about boss fights, so I thought the really buff guy who lended over the smelling salts could be very powerful.

1:16 I absolutely love the ocean and decided to take an online course for a semester of Marine Science. I got to rant about sharks for like three projects lol
i wish they put an anglerfish, its my favorite thing/animal, i have done multiple essays about them, did you know only females have escas? and they mate by the male latching onto the females stomach and they fuse into one fish and use the nutrients and stuff from each other to survive? :(i apologize for my spelling):
Hey big gamer. I noticed the monsters look awfully similar to the people you met at the lobby. I think that the bass is brad, seb is the hammerhead, Jen is the egg yolk jelly fish, Sally is the turtle and finally demi is the dolphin! Pretty nice lore, also big fan
You are a really great RUclipsr keep it up. Also you could interact with the dead body when to lights are on and you find a wedding ring in the dead bodies pocket and you can bring it to the girl in the bathroom at get some dialog it is sad.
I love aquariums, I love fish alot, considered being a marine biologist at one point lmao, I haven't watched the video yet, but I'm very interested how they'll use the aquarium setting for the game
All that video game remind of the movie Tusk, even tho the experience surly haven't been replicated like in the movie, the monster give me this vibe 11:36 especialy this one
I have to say the music in those fights definitely shows off the doom of the situation. However I wish we could've had more fights, this game is a short boss rush to be honest
I love ocean related stuff so much, Subnautica is in my top favorite games list, although it technically isn’t a horror game, if you haven’t played it having a series here would be great. The game can be scary at times, but you also get to learn more about the enviroment and what lives in it, plus the game is beautiful with bioluminescent plants and animals around the place
When the kid in the beginning said that they liked water worms, I got curious and looked it up and the results were * Discusted by anything noises * How does a child like that?
The dude who said his his stomach hurt from lunch,I think the dude at the food counter is the dad of luma and gave to first dude food with the animal stuff, cus the bass was bald and hade a Mushstas like the dude So the food sever is feeding people the animal stuff and then they turn into the wired animals (Sorry about bad explaining) Also all staff had to eat so that's why there the animals
my theory see that guy who said to himself you can hold it 10 more minutes this guy transformed into a large mouthbass because the other one put smth on food
Wow this game was awesome! I'm surprised no one is talking about how good the music was! The fighting themes were a jam to listen to! I hope these guys make more games in the future!
So this is my theory , brad is the first monster you encounter . The second one is maybe seb? Then the third is Jen because of the mole on both of their left cheeks . Then the forth is Sally and the last is maybe Demi ? And then I believe the note in the locker room was written by the man in the snacks and drink area !
I both love and loathe aquariums - leave me with the moon jellies and I’ll be happy, at least those lil guys don’t have eyes that stare into your soul.
Hey big, I got a theory what If the first fish is the guard because similar facial features plus maybe that thing his friend gave me was the mutation thingy
Yeah you seem spot on with the obvious lamu guesses. Am I the only one with headcanon that Theo is a distant relative of John Starfield, maybe if he survives even the direct ancestor? This was a good idea for a game.
I agree with you there, the underwater is absolutely remarkable and brilliant! I thank God for everything he’s created and the ocean and its fantastic creatures and plants.
If its not a bother, may I know what song plays at the beginning of each of these videos? The one where you speak to us with a lovely life story, not the monster in the door. 😂
some comments are saying about the guy putting stuff in the food and i agree but i want to mention the similarities the sea creatures have with the workers(there were 5 sea creature but six workers) demi - dolphin (last one) seb - hammerhead shark (his chin) jen - jellyfish (the beauty mark) brad - bass (his mustache) sally - seaturtle (the eyes) but the man(his name too) who served the food and drinks is the only one not there but his beard and mustache is similar to the guy in the photo at the lab so he's the cause of this and many be many more.

Now try the new Same devs of sea mongrel Game!,Its called porkbound its like a Punch out game but with a little bit of horror in it(its so scary) so try it out
1:16 I absolutely love the ocean and decided to take an online course for a semester of Marine Science.
I love the anglerfish. I was always fascinated with it as a child. It would fit very well into a horror game
1:04 i actually played that game recently and i really like it (i haven't finished it yet).
0:15 yeah I love them. Once on a school trip to a zuu that had one. Me and a friend and we sat in there for like 4 hours playing games on our phones.
Hey!! a new creature behind the chanel door saying wellcome!! really cool
I'm sick today and am probably going to watch a bunch of your videos
Recently found your channel. Thanks for playing these games for us 😁
You are a really great RUclipsr keep it up.
When the jelly fish jumpscare came up, his scream honestly gave me more of a fright 😂
you should play Dreadout sometime, scariest game i've ever played
Bro this is a really good game one my favorites that you have played
17:13 THE MİNECRAFT GLASS THO-
I love aquarium so much. It's like the more you look into it, it just looks so majestic and fascinating
Pretty sure each monster is just the employees and based off what the note said. (Except the scientist.)
I love aquariums because it’s so cool to see all the the different wild life in front of your face and I’m scared of the ocean
Im at the halfway point ish and I agree with your theory. Will edit maybe by the end? :D
When the kid in the beginning said that they liked water worms, I got curious and looked it up and the results were
* Discusted by anything noises *
How does a child like that?
The dude who said his his stomach hurt from lunch,I think the dude at the food counter is the dad of luma and gave to first dude food with the animal stuff, cus the bass was bald and hade a Mushstas like the dude
So the food sever is feeding people the animal stuff and then they turn into the wired animals
(Sorry about bad explaining)
Also all staff had to eat so that's why there the animals
11:42 motherfrickrr you care about the mustache and not your life?!
I found you from one of your shorts and I can't stop watching you!
my theory see that guy who said to himself you can hold it 10 more minutes this guy transformed into a large mouthbass because the other one put smth on food
Yeah, the moment the first largemouth bass showed up I was like "oh shit was that the guy?"
@@hylianexpected1171 you realise how familiar he looks to the largemouth bass
Wow this game was awesome! I'm surprised no one is talking about how good the music was! The fighting themes were a jam to listen to! I hope these guys make more games in the future!
So this is my theory , brad is the first monster you encounter . The second one is maybe seb? Then the third is Jen because of the mole on both of their left cheeks . Then the forth is
Sally and the last is maybe Demi ? And then I believe the note in the locker room was written by the man in the snacks and drink area !
The egg yolk jelly fish jumpscare scared me so bad
I both love and loathe aquariums - leave me with the moon jellies and I’ll be happy, at least those lil guys don’t have eyes that stare into your soul.
Damn i love these short ,,deep" talks at the start of your videos😊
Hey big, I got a theory what If the first fish is the guard because similar facial features plus maybe that thing his friend gave me was the mutation thingy
Anyone notice that bass was the guy they met before they got attacked the first time🤨
This guy makes my day better every time i put a video on ❤
And also, i have Thalassaphobia, so this really spooked me and i love it
Big g always seems to brighten my day everyday thank you big g
Thank YOU!
@@biggaming64 btw the fish you fight first is brad, he was the one who ate food and said "my stomach isnt agreeing with it"
@@biggaming64your vids are great man 💯💯
This games art style and music is so good i can't wait to see what the creators make next
Ngl that fight music was FIRE
You need to play "The Building 71 Incident" or Lancaster Leak: Crisis at the call center please 🙏🙏🙏
Both of those videos are coming soon :)
Ngl im scared of aquariums because I always feel like the glass is gonna break, its such a silly thing to be afraid of
Ah rpg horror game ngl they're quite awesome. Man i saw these enemies.Heck they're not giving you a easy time thats for sure.
I can't stress enough just how much I relate to the aquarium/marine biologist spiel at the start ❤
Waited for the sequel ngl 😅
Come on pet the fish! : the fish a hammerhead shark that look like its deformed and a largemouth bass that looks like a deceased whale
Yeah you seem spot on with the obvious lamu guesses. Am I the only one with headcanon that Theo is a distant relative of John Starfield, maybe if he survives even the direct ancestor?
This was a good idea for a game.
The intro summed up perfectly via Ian Malcolm
"Life, uh, finds a way"
I agree with you there, the underwater is absolutely remarkable and brilliant! I thank God for everything he’s created and the ocean and its fantastic creatures and plants.
did anyone notice the egg yolk jelly fish boss fight said egg yolk jelly fish git their sh*t togeather
If its not a bother, may I know what song plays at the beginning of each of these videos? The one where you speak to us with a lovely life story, not the monster in the door. 😂
It's called By Moonlight by James Lim
@biggaming64 Thanks man! Youre always such a joy to listen to, and the music really sells it for me 😊
some comments are saying about the guy putting stuff in the food and i agree but i want to mention the similarities the sea creatures have with the workers(there were 5 sea creature but six workers)
demi - dolphin (last one)
seb - hammerhead shark (his chin)
jen - jellyfish (the beauty mark)
brad - bass (his mustache)
sally - seaturtle (the eyes)
but the man(his name too) who served the food and drinks is the only one not there but his beard and mustache is similar to the guy in the photo at the lab so he's the cause of this and many be many more.
I gotta say, BG, you have helped me overcome my fear of horror games. Thank you.
They just released an endless ocean three for the Nintendo switch. Just wanted to let you know. you’ve helped me out so much. Thank
To be honest the first large mouth bass you encountered looks like the guy that was upset with the food
I dare you to play kinitopet and say yes when you’re afraid of the dark
Ngl but Brad kinda looks like Brad from Lisa the painful
