La presente obra fue mostrada en la pelìcula Titanic del año de 1997 en una escena en donde los violinistas tocan cuando el titanic se comienza a hundir,el extracto dicho se presenta en el siguiente enlace • Promocional: Video Nùm... que justamente recordaràn.
El canal MrJohannStraussViena tiene su origen un 24 de Junio del año 2011 en la Ciudad de Mèxico,Mèxico,surgiendo como un canala que se basa en los principios de dar a conocer e inculcar la buena mùsica si afan de lucrar con las obras.

Survivors of the tragedy remembered the Titanic Orchestra playing this waltz on the deck of the ship while everybody were frantically looking for a way to abandon ship. None of the musicians survived the tragedy, they played all the way to the end.
2 years learning about Titanic and with that power and research and found this with history and lots of courage... and I finally found it and god bless HMHS britannic and RMS Titanic and RMS Olympic...

Por fin se reconoce el valor indiscutible de esas mùsicas eternas, inolvidables. No es simplemente la nostalgia: es el valor real de obras que en realidad merecen la categoría de clàsicos de todos los tiempos. Esos compositores: Strauss, Léhar, Lincke, Fucik, von Suppé, Ziehrer, Kalman, Fall, y muchos màs de la misma época son la gloria de la opereta como género musical.
Paul Lincke era un compositor muy dotado. Tuve el honor de conmemorar su tumba en Hahnenklee en las montañas Harz. El vals nupcial es el vals más hermoso que hay.

Because this waltz was part of the Titanic Orchestra music and according to some of the survivors, the orchestra was playing this waltz when the ship was sinking and people were scrambling to board the boats. That linked forever the waltz with the sinking.

There's one character in the movie who asked for the waltz to be played by the orchestra. It might be true that Paul Lincke's Wedding Dance was played at that moment and created such a sharp contrast between comedy and tragedy. It's a beautiful composition nevertheless.
