I did not think I would use that tiny teapot but last night I went for it while watching Vanderpump Rules for one little cup of sleepy time tea. It was fun to use being so small and pretty.
I am drooling over those One Dark Window tarot cards. So good that they finally made a tarot bag!
I loved For Her Consideration. It's such a fun book but I felt like there was quite a lot of depth to it compared to a lot of contemporary fantasy. And I'm not normally into the whole dating a celebrity thing but I really enjoyed how low-key that aspect of the plot was 💖
This was my first illumicrate box and I really loved it but I also really enjoy Greek mythology. It’s one of the strongest fairyloot boxes I’ve had in a while too so I was really happy 😊
Both the fairyloot adult and ya books for March have been my favourite so far! I started both of my subscriptions in February so I can’t wait to see what they do next - though I only have book only boxes since I can’t afford the ya goodies box
That edition of Foxglove is making me excited to read it! I like the metal Wrath bookmark, the frosted mug, and the tiny teapot(I'd use it as a book jar).
New subscriber, I love watching these unboxings as I am still waivering on which subscription box to go with. I absolutely love that ceramic book pot though, do they do them individually on the sites shop as I know some subscription services do sell standalone items from past boxes at times. Love how clear and concise your vlog is :-) xx

I think FL are on a roll with their adult book design choices. I’ve been disappointed with YA box items the last few months so defo going to combo book only asap. IC are really picking great items, Greek mythology isn’t my fav theme but I can appreciate a well themed box.
Have to agree with FL YA box, Marches box was bloody awful and the book I couldn’t believe was 360 pages for the size of it. The items though 🫣🤐 I am better zipping my mouth because if the thoughts come out it might not be good. I have skipped my May box already as have no interest in that particular author at all 🫢
I definitely preferred the original cover of book is all I will say, the faecal colour on the dust jacket done nothing for it even edge with silver foil 🫣
For some reason I thought the after light box was book only? I love the glass mug 🥹 I loved IC theme this month!! FL editions are beautiful! I’ve been on the waitlist for months 🥲

Before you even read the synopsis on Seven Faceless Saints, I was getting Reid Diggory vibes from the end pages.

Seven Faithless Saints is SO small to what I expected it to be. Also I thought it was Adult Fantasy too.
Does anyone know why the YA Fairyloot book this month was so small?

I was the same with The Foxglove King. Loved the edges but wasn’t a fan of the cover itself😬
seven faceless saints sounds veeeery similar to an ember in the ashes first book
Not my type of book, but I love the Afterlight upgrades to the book! Great color palette, sparkles, and I love the palm tree!
For the Wolf was such a fun debut so I've been looking forward to Foxglove King... but man, I really hate that cover. 😭And then they replicated the ugly crown on the edges 🙈I'm hoping it's a good read still, but I might pick up the paperback if it gets printed with a better cover...
My favorite book of all time is a Roman based story if you are looking for books set in Rome.
The Light Bearer by Donna Gillespie
First perspective is from Auriane, the daughter of a Germanic tribal chieftain, who sets out to avenge her fathers murder and is eventually captured by Romans and made to fight as gladiator in the Colosseum.
Second perspective is from Marcus who is a young senator who is plotting the assassination of the corrupt emperor. He also comes across tales of a Germanic warrioress and becomes fascinated with her.
This book has light romance and fantasy elements but heavier on political intrigue. It’s a slow start but has been one of my favorite books for 20+ years.

I was very disappointed by the size of the illumicrate teapot. Don't see the point of a small tea pot. Love the fairyloot plate too. I loved the two plates illumicrate did a few months ago
Yeah kinda the point of a teapot is to make a lot of tea 😂
