I was thinking, at first, that this may have been Phantom Liberty dialogue as I haven't played it, then I heard the "but yea" and instantly got disappointed.
Haha. It was a random malfunction/ mess up. It generated a random “yay” from my clearly written “yeah” prompt. No clue why it does that sometimes but was too lazy to re-generate it lol
Just imagine this kind of technology in future gaming industry. No more pre-recorded voice acting that stays the same for every player. We can just directly type or talk to the character and AI will generate real time responses based on their set characteristic and use AI generated voice to speak out the response, the dialog is unique for everyone. Sad that animation and acting during dialog still can't be generated in real time, but just the convo is a big step up for gaming in my opinion.

One reason he wouldn't know Rebecca isbecause the year that they got famous he was away in Atlanta. Two they both live in completely different parts of the city even if they're both street kids they still live in different parts of the city. Yeah they both live in Watson but it's about the same distance away as Jackie's house and you don't meet him until the beginning of the game.(granted David lives in arroyo but still)
I love the mods that make the smasher fight good, makes you feel like two borgs are going toe to toe, rn im in my first complete playthrough, im basically going 80% borg, and my smasher fight is going to be amazing.
You gotta remember though he was already close to death when fighting smasher, V’s nervous system and brain was pretty much already Johnny at that point. He wasn’t injured physically but he was being destroyed by the chip.

I hate being a solo. I wish I could play the game as a team and set people up for different roles. I'd even be willing to switch between them like Final Fantasy 7 Remake to use their abilities.
If you think about it, Corpo V is EXACTLY what David Martinez would have become if his mom hadn't died and he'd graduated from his Arasaka School. Sooner or later Jenkins would have noticed David's raw talent(and Cyberware tolerance) and taken him on as a protege, just like he did for V. With proper training, time, and discipline David probably would have been even better than V.
I wonder that too sometimes. I don't think V would have gotten as involved as we'd like to think. After all he is a solo. Most he'd probably do is kick back with em sometimes n maybe share a few drinks. I personally think David's story would probably have ended the same if not similarly.
