I went through book but I was unable to understand zener diode. But thank u sir for your hard work, it makes very easy for me to understand zener diode ane how it can be used. Thank u again sir🥰, lots of love from Defence

    Sir if 3V is required in output but instantaneous 1V input is coming , then it will give output as 1V. I mean zener is helping only in removing excess voltage at the load but not increasing it when it is less than required? I mean it's not regulating the voltage but only decreasing the excess voltage according to your explanation.

    When source gives less than 3V I.e. in case 1 then due to resistance drop will be there . Then how the bulb will glow ? And what would be the magnitude of the resistance?

    • @vikasmalik1373
      @vikasmalik1373 4 года назад +2

      In case of 3v no resistance will be offered and the led will glow but most probably led will fused zener diode helps in regulating the voltage or u can also understand it as a special type resistor which converts voltage according to the required voltage of the led

      It was only for visualization , practically your tv , frigde cannot operate within 220V (approx ) like they operate at nearly 200V thus the output cannot fluctuate that much like u vo get 180V in your home and that's how it regulates...

    Because you said that if the Voltage exceeds 3V, it will destroy the LED bulb. But, the Zener diode only controls the flow of current, NOT the Voltage.
