    Sir if 3V is required in output but instantaneous 1V input is coming , then it will give output as 1V. I mean zener is helping only in removing excess voltage at the load but not increasing it when it is less than required? I mean it's not regulating the voltage but only decreasing the excess voltage according to your explanation.

    Sir, when we already know that at what voltage (3) bulb glows and dc source produces 1-6 range voltage.. we can adjust a resistor according to it .. what's the use of zener diodes

    • @DcenceRayaOfficial
      @DcenceRayaOfficial Месяц назад

      Resistors cause a voltage drop, but this drop is not fixed and depends on the current, so they cannot stabilize voltage.
      Zener diodes, on the other hand, regulate voltage by clamping the voltage at a specific value (the Zener voltage), ensuring consistent voltage despite variations in input voltage or current.

    Sir can you please tell if it is the Resistance or the Zener diode that saves the LED bulb from damage?
    Because you said that if the Voltage exceeds 3V, it will destroy the LED bulb. But, the Zener diode only controls the flow of current, NOT the Voltage.
    So can you please explain me this phenomenon once again?

    • @vikasmalik1373
      @vikasmalik1373 5 лет назад +2

      In case of 3v no resistance will be offered and the led will glow but most probably led will fused zener diode helps in regulating the voltage or u can also understand it as a special type resistor which converts voltage according to the required voltage of the led

      It was only for visualization , practically your tv , frigde cannot operate within 220V (approx ) like they operate at nearly 200V thus the output cannot fluctuate that much like u vo get 180V in your home and that's how it regulates...
