My Splendid College Years (2007-2012) was Colorful and Lively only because of you.
Going to a Movie in BHARATH MALL then Devouring mouth watering Food from TIKKA HALAL and then have a puff of Kretek Cigarette Gudang Garam or Flavored Cigars exclusively available only on the Top Floor of SAIBEAN COMPLEX.
Towards the end, the magnificient CITY CENTRE opens up and then became Our favorite hang out spot.
I Miss you Mangalore.

Proud tuluva Mangalorean here. And I'd not shift to ANY other city than Mangalore in my entire life( considering there's a of mangaloreans settling/working outside the city). This place especially the *TULUNAAD* *REGION* has everything! Yes everything! Beautiful people, beaches, nature, food, culture, religious diversity and so much more! Local language of Mangalore is TULU spoken by the Tulu hindu community, apart from that there is Konkani (spoken by GSB and catholic) and beary(byary bashe) by the muslim community. Tulunaad also has very rich history and culture which are limited to only this place, like bhuta kola(spirit worship), Yakshagana, nagaradhane, kori katta(cock fight) etc. There are *MANY* Bollywood celebs from this place as well. Religions like islam and Christianity date back to 1300+ years when there was trade between arabs, South Karnatakan(tuluvas) and North Kerala. So, we've *Always* had a very peaceful influx history and religious harmony which is quite the opposite of what the media tells you!

This is one of the best videos showing urbanity of Mangalore. Skyline of Mangalore has changed a lot in past 2 to 3 years. Plenty of skyscrapers are built. Looks like a metropolitan city now. Still many buildings are under construction ranging from 30 to 56 floors. This will further enhance the view.
