Most helpfull people one can ever meet. People are still very helpful n they are the most down to earth people one will ever see.Tamil culture is like that. Simple living high thinking. There will be some exceptions but by n large the most helpful people i have seen live in chennai. Here no one is an outsider. All are welcome. The only thing they expect from you is to follow rules n to be honest n hard working.

Few decades back scenerio was totally different as northern people used to think that Tamil people were anti Hindi but now situation is totally changed since tamilians too have abandoned their anti Hindi feelings and have understood importance of Hindi and shown interest for learning Hindi. Similarly people from other states too have shown their interest for awareness of southern culture and according due respect it deserves.

Why chennai don't have Skyscrapers?
Indian meteorological department deployed a radar in Chennai port trust building before 25 years. that building was 50 meters height and was the tallest of that time.
This particular radar is very important for the state and India to detect cyclone as far as from 500 kms.
The radar need a clear atmosphere for it to work efficiently. That's the reason Chennai don't have any skyscrapers

Chennai has very limited vertical growth because the corporation does not allow to build tall skyscrapers because of the loose soil.
Chennai has the best public transport in the whole India, I have not seen such efficient public transport elsewhere.
One more good thing about Chennai is the people are very silent and love to do their own work.
And elliots beach was like goa in night time, I went there during Christmas.
And there is no religious tension in Chennai.
tall skyscrapers are not allowed because, chennai is densely populated and water scarcity not because loose soil( infact chennai has bed rocks which can support supertall structures) . Chennai has the first tallest skyscraper of india called LIC building. Now corporation is allowing Skyscraper. soon chennai will have one of the tallest buildings in india.

May be they took this on Sunday or a public holiday and with some photo shop it shows ten times more prettier than the true Chennai...if you like our culture and food and don't care about congestion and pollution... yes you please visit

The age of a language is measured by the oldest manuscript found, but the paper (papyrus) was founded my the Egyptians, however saying one language is older than another is so wrong. A lot of languages have existed before people started to write them, in that case the Egyptian, Canaanite, Chinese , Tamil and Sanskrit are all old. Logically a lot of people existed at different parts of the planet and they all spoke different languages. So I don’t think there is one “oldest” language. Instead these are the origin languages. And btw I’m a tamizhan myself
