Awesome! Tried it this arvo and mare loved it! Never heard of leg yield on the wall before and it showed so clearly where the energy dribbled out when we weren’t straight! Actually made the concept of leg yield easier to covey to my little TB
Love you Olivia your such an inspiration to anyone out there who rides I have 3 horses they are called Toby , Bruno and i named my recent horse after yours because I’m very proud to be one of your subscribers he is called eagle and since watching you I’ve learnt so much more when riding him I want to say a very special thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much Olivia for these videos there great and also I won my first psg thanks to you please feel free to share your amazing achievement for you on the vlog🐎🐎🐎🐎💞
I love this series! We've ditched the bridle completely this year, so we've been doing your exercises completely bridleless and he's really coming along! I was really surprised how well he did the corner work completely bridleless, it taught me loads! Can't wait to do this one next time I ride :D
I use leg yield up the wall too, I find it really helps loosen up the back by stepping under! Can’t wait to work on walk tomorrow especially the square work 👍🏻☺️ x
Lovely exercise that I like doing with my disconnected, bored, strung out, worn out, and aged school horses, who suddenly perk up when they realize they must pay attention to where their feet are and that they are not going in a circle. Love lateral work! Excellent video and description. Perhaps emphasize a good pace and talk about what your cues are telling him a little more? You explained it beautifully as you were riding, but maybe as a warm up to the movement/pattern, you could describe what your leg and rein aids are doing while working at a certain pace appropriate for the exercise. As I said, you did it beautifully as you were demonstrating, but as I was watching before you explained, I thought it would be helpful to know what I, and other viewers, are looking for as you are beginning the exercise. Does Wilf have any clones affordable to broke college students? :) I can't wait for more. The walk is so important and so much can be done in that gait! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
