Christine rocks well. I live in Wisconsin...I never understand what ppl mean when they say deal with snow, what's to deal with it? it takes a few moments to wipe it off your car. Snow is beautiful.
It's so crazy to think that over 7 billion people on this earth look at the same moon and sun, and that while one person is getting ready for work or school, another person is finishing up for the day getting ready to go home and enjoy their afternoon whether it be with family, friends or even alone. I hope that whoever reads this comment has a great day/night whether you're on your way to school or leaving school, whether you're waking up to get ready for work or you're clocking out, or even if you're just chilling for the day and doing nothing at all. Its a relaxing feeling... right up until its the time in the morning to shovel before your 10 am to 6 pm shift.
Not only the world but people too. Even the most taught person is weak and feels the fear of each storm. Every weather phenomenon like that reminds us of that we are humans with the same needs ,fears and weaknesses.
Winter is the most beautiful time of the year, this silence or the howling of a strong wind in a snow-covered forest makes me feel very happy and I have the will to live.

During Desert Storm we never saw a cloud, let alone precipitation. I dreamed of being home in the snow while the guys were talking about the beach and sun. I got approved for 30 days leave when we got back to US soil. I camped that winter and soaked in every last snow flake. No 120 degree heat, no bombs and gunfire, no oil smoke choking me. It was Heaven to a battle weary soldier.
Hi 😃 I had a friend in Desert Storm, Marine. He couldn't stand the weather. He was from Oregon. I will take snow,sleet,rain over heat any day 😄😄😄
When I returned to 75-85 F weather after living in Iraq & Kuwait, I was freezing. It was a 40-50 degree drop in temperature.

Seoul, Korea. When I was six years old, a winter day I walked barefoot on snow feeling it through. That night I listened to the snow howling thinking it sounded magical flute.
Now, 60 years has past and I miss them. Due to Climate Change it doesn't snow that much nor howl like it used to.

Perfect setting. Spent half my life in the southern US heat, other half in the Michigan woods. I love the south but there's something magical about the northern woods. I feel more in tune w nature up there. I remember as a kid walking outside into the woods the morning after a night of heavy snow, and just finding a tree to sit down against, and just marvel at the beauty of the snow covered woods. I would get a feeling that I've never gotten from anywhere else, even after all these years. Was as if the pine trees were creating some kind of energy amongst each other and I was caught in the middle of it. To put it simply, it felt perfect and it made me feel perfect. Like a pure song of one steady powerful note, almost a hum that reverberated throughout your entire being, like your body tunes in to the trees energy, like a tuning fork. It showed me that the forest is alive and the trees speak to us, and what they say is unlike anything I've experienced anywhere else, you just have to be there, and listen.
I love how snow covers everything and makes it look clean. You look out the window and it’s just pristine white. The trees draped in white, the ground covered with drifts of glitter... I love winter!
This is my dream. There is something so comforting about dark, dreary snowy snowstorms that put me in such a state of relaxation. I'd take being snowed in and nestled in a cabin up in the mountains over baking in the hot sun any day of the week. The only thing I'd change is the proximity to a neighbor...

For anyone here with anxiety, fear, stress, or depression, I want you to know that you are not alone. We all go through difficult times in our lives, and it can sometimes feel as though we'll never get back to normal. But we will overcome all the difficulties. No matter how cold the winter is, there is still a spring ahead. Believe in the power of positive thinking. You will get through it and you will come out stronger than ever.
Look at how clean those trees are kept. Now that is a healthy forest who will live thru a fire, houses too with 60' or better between houses and forest. Ours is completely overgrown. Listening from SW Washington, USA. Peace. Our first storm of the season is due this coming weekend in Washington State. Just can't wait, how fun.

@Barry Baz Agreed! My mother used to say the exact same thing. You can always escape the cold but there's no escaping the heat. I'm so glad it's almost October and summer is over. I didn't have AC this year and had to rely on only a fan in a heat wave. Spent many 90 degree nights lying awake in a pool of sweat. So uncomfortable. No escaping it either. Only a cold shower helped sometimes. Can't wait for the snow and the winter. Bring it on!!

Yes, spiritual renewal! All the stupid are dormant and it opens the mind's doorway to calm and profound contemplations. I hear you, I understand. Circumstances have taken me from my northern home; I reside now for SIXTEEN YEARS in a flat damp dreadful semi tropical clime where most people are coarse and/or stupid, shallow, chest-thumping, barely literate and obsessed with sports.
16 years without seeing snow, or even an autumn.
I have little left to say. My spirit feels buried. Videos and movies like this overwhelm me with longing and pain.

I live in Northwest Indiana. We get a lot of snow here and our share of snow storms. Certainly not like other parts of the world. I think the reason I love this so much is remembering the snow storms of my youth. Being out of school for 2 weeks, and feeling safe and snug at home with my mom, brother and sister. Memories of the heart. Tonight my sugar readings went well above 400...I had a steroid shot today. So I took my insulin, layed back and listened to this and it helped to calm me down which helped my insulin lower my sugars. Thank you so much for this video. ❤

I was born in northern Minnesota near lake superior. I could go in the woods on a day like this and listen for hours in complete silence. Just me and my German Shepard Allie in the woods playing in the blizzard. It always felt like it could last forever. The sound of wind during a blizzard through pine trees is different than any other, and well represented here. Well done.

She howl of the wind gives me chills. It reminds me of when I got snowed in 2019. I went out to go get some food to the local 711, due to us having no power. When I stepped outside, something was off. Normally, where I live you would hear the cars on the highway a quarter of a mile away, but, all you could hear was the howl of the wind. I recall there being atleast 1 1/2 feet of snow. (SERIOUS amounts of show where I live.) My parents told me to get anything left on the shelves that didn't have to be stored in a fridge. I made it out with lots of cookies, doughnuts, coffee, bagels, a few canned teas, and a few other things. I now had to do the trek all the way back home. I will never forget the crisp winter wind beating against my face while I was walking up the will to out ridge.i had to resort to a kind of sideways shuffle to get hack up the hill without slipping, lol. Half way up, I decide to take a rest by a tree that didn't have snow blasting under it. I sit down under the tree, and pop open a Starbucks frapè, and take a bite on my Snickers almond butter bar, and listen to the raging storm. Best 3 weeks off of school ever man.
