Great video! Other things that impresses me is they used a regular bmx mid bb, and they have an oversize 14mm rear axle, heavier but sturdier for peg tricks. All bearing are sealed. And they used a regular bmx campy 45/45 headset bearings (according to specs I've seen online - haven't verified myself).
Lucky! Tried to get one from GT for their 2 for 1 deal but shops that had stock wouldn't release them. Got the 24" for my kid, thought it be cool to have a matching one. Nice review though.
My first bike was like that pink bike with the mags of course I didn't have the one with gyro and all that but still one of the reasons I'm jumping on a bike again
I've got a subrosa malum dtt 29 at the moment, thinking of adding this as a second bike, this is alloy frame , is it still a strong durable bike, my subrosa is chromoly, , cheers
Might as well get one of the Dyno Pro Comp 29 right now they're on sale for $479 for the black and $579 for the lavender. Both have chromoly frame fork and handlebars, sealed cassette wheel set, Pro series cranks, and sealed everything.
Im thinking about reliving my youth (Im 48) and getting a bike like this; what do you think is best? A 26" or a 29" Im 6'1"and have long arms. I have not sat on any of these yet to size them up. Pros and cons of a 26 vs 29? Thanks for the greta video.
As a woman trying to put this exact bike together for my son for Christmas could u make a video on how to add the chain guard, reflectors, and pegs cause this bike manual is sh*t it’s basically for any bike they make. I’m about to cry lol
Good afternoon. What is the maximum weight this bike can support? I'm thinking about buying one to do some cycling, I'm old school BMX, I'm already overweight, and I worry about that. Thanks.
Yes either the Haro 29" wheels, s&m, or Black Ops. All under $200 for a set/pair. I bought a set of the S&M's to complete my Haro Master 29 frame and fork, and a set of the 26 Black ops for my 26 Pro Performer. All three brands I mentioned are double wall wheels with sealed hubs. Excellent for the price, anything more expensive will be a custom-made set and cost you anywhere from $500 and up
GT only makes good BMX bikes they're mountain bikes or any other bike that they make don't look good at all to me I don't know about anybody else but to me any other bikes that you can makes our crap compared to their BMX front looks and style
I love my GT 29” I’ve upgraded a few things and it rides great.
What all did you do to yours?
I’d like to know as well haha

Yup your right on all of those. Bike is definetly sturdy. Feels like I could play chicken with a car and just ride over it! lol!

What would be the difference in ride quality between the 29 and 26?
@@agustindelgado1218 oh idk i haven’t tried the 26 version
Got it!
How high can you adjust the seat? I like to have almost full extension when pedaling due to bad knees.
gotta watch out for aryei filming when you least expect it😂😂
I'd love to see the GT Mohawk hubs on it,....😃😃😃,....but then one thing about that,...they're not designed for "disc brakes",.....
Im thinking about getting the 24
Thanks Shad! You're the best 👊
Thank you guys for keeping me stoked since I was a kid!

@@GazianoOutdoors ok nice ... Yes It's a great bike!
You think a 29x2.8 tire will fit the GT?
So can the 26 inch be a good long distance bike or do I need a 29 inch
