No one in the portal wants to compete with Bryce. They want guaranteed time. Warren will be the starting QB at the beginning of the season next year until Bryce is ready. Warren isn’t bad.. our OC is bad. Warren was winning that Oregon game.. Campbell lost it for us. Campbell cost us and Indy, Washington, and Illinois’s.. we could have been 10-1 going into Columbus with a better OC. We weren’t beating Texas.
Holland should do recruiting for Virginia or Virginia Tech where he lives! You can't do anything but surface level recruiting if you're not close to the team! That would be like you guys doing recruiting for West Virginia or V.T.
Payne was a better get than Silver would have been, IMO. I really like that Michigan is stressing lineman on both sides of ball. That's where football is won or lost. Thompson is a must get. Norton has three years of eligibility left. He's the future if we can beef him up a bit. Branch could evolve into a Percy Harvin type player but hasn't done it yet and isn't worthy of anything near $4M. I take a hard pass on Branch. Deuce Robinson comes a lot closer to being worth such a lofty payday and would bring two years of eligibility with him to wherever he lands. Michigan should make a big push to overcome the Florida State legacy connection.

I'm hoping Michigan's able to get DeQuan Finn, since he's the QB I wanted last year before Coach Moore decided to punt on getting a portal QB. But I have a sneaky feeling Mikey Keene is gonna be the guy due to his connections to the new OC. Plus, I have a feeling that Lindsey may be spearheading Mikey Keene's visit this upcoming weekend. He's gonna want a guy in his 1st year as the OC who he clicks with right away so the offense gets off to a hot start since Oklahoma is lurking in week 2 of the regular season. But let's face it, Finn has the higher ceiling and his relationship with Underwood puts at the top of the leaderboard and rightfully so. The other thing I'll say is they really need to start picking up the pace on getting portal guys committed. Rumors are they're wanting at minimum 15 guys! Well, they're at 5 and there's only 10 days of portal window left. They still need a QB, RB, WR, TE, OG, C, OT, 2 DTs, LB, 2 CBs and a Punter. That would be 13 players, plus the 5 they already have! For a total of 18 players. That's alot of players to get signed in 10 days. LFG!!!
