Same here, I don’t wanna discourage you, but I had a panic attack on that spiral staicase. I looked up and it looked like it would never end, the same thing below me and it was suffocating but I had to keep going because there were a lot more people there then so I couldn't collapse and I was desperately trying to calm down. Anyway, I would go there again because the view is definitely worth it, I just recommend not looking around, just going up the stairs
Just did this on Tuesday. It is not for the faint of heart. 😱 If you suffer from fear of heights or claustrophobia, this is not for you. It is grueling but really thrilling and totally worth the effort.
I've seen RUclips videos of people climbing the dome and the stairs were packed with people. How did you manage to do it when it looks like no one was there. Early in the morning?
Thank you for filming this & sharing it! I'm claustrophobic and I'm worried it will not be the best decision for me to try to climb all 463 steps!!

Hi - did they give you any issues with bringing bags with you during the climb? i read they can be pretty strict.
Any guesses on how many steps to the platform to see the Last Judgement. That’s all I want to do
