Thanks for showing us love with this video
I really love the look of your photos!!! Thank you for sharing!
After watching a Jason Vong's video interviewing you, I wanted to see some of your edits and check what I could do better in some of the photos I took.
While watching this one I thought it would be a good idea to edit along a shot from Chinatown as well. In doing what you did, it kept getting more beautiful and the moment I downgraded the highlights I just went WOW! That's actually when I realized the photo was taken at the same street, only different angle hahah. Anyway, just wanted to thank you for making me feel like it's possible to be awed with my photos too! Your work is amazing!
Lol that’s awesome!
It's helpful really thank you for sharing with us
Very Detailed On Explaining!! Thank You!!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for this video!!
Just within 5 minutes I learned a lot! Thank you for going in every detail of it! Esp for a person like me who really wanted to learn. I adore those dark/moody, film like photos in IG this video of yours help me a lot. Keep it up!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much.
Awesome, thank you very much!
Very nice job
Thanks Professor! After years, your class showed me some deep features of Lr that I didn’t realized!
Great to hear! There's some things that are now changed in Lightroom, since the time this video was uploaded. I'll eventually have new uploads that shows the updates and changes Adobe has made to the now Lightroom Classic version.
Wonderful video
great stuff. learned a ton.
😇
Awesome tutorial :) Thank you very much! I really like your style!
Glad you like it!
Pretty Good 🖤👍🏻😍🙏🏼
Thank u so much for this, I am a big fan of moody dark tones and this tutorial is awesome and helpful
Such an oldie of a tutorial lol. Thanks!
Super helpful video. Thanks a ton, Prof!
You're very welcome!
Very very educative. Thanks for showing the skill.
Thank you so much!
Awesome tutorial sir🙏😀
Thanks a ton
Thank you for this great video! I'd love to see how you have modified this with the latest version of LRC.
Things are drastically different since this video was published! I plan to revisit older images and remaster but this one won’t be one of them set for remastering.
Its funny how I sort of use the same method for editing, (playing with the sliders) but my knowledge of what each particular thing does needs some work! Thanks for letting us tag along on this one..
Very old video, but I'm glad it's still helpful! 😊
Watching this made me repent a lot as I deleted/threw away a lot of pics where composition were right but felt dull. Had i knew this skill earlier i'd have benefitted a lot. Thanks for sharing such a great video. I would be very grateful if u show us how to edit a photo on lightroom which was shot on strong daylight with prominent shadows and little color. I think a lot of photographers have to deal with this issue. Thanks in anticipation.
Thank you so much and hmmm, I’ll go through my photos and see if I have something of that nature (which I believe I may).
If so it will be in my new “Let’s Edit” series as well 😊
This was amazing. Seems like it takes a while but if you weren't explaining you probably could have done this in 10 minutes. I got a little lost on the adjustment brush but i'll definitely watch this video a few more times.
Yes, my edits are far shorter than this. Usually a min maybe.
I liked this video from the intro alone haha
Lol, the intros have gotten far better since this video
I really like to play with the settings to see what they do. My gf does not get it but I'm getting her to try. Might suprise you with the result!
Nothing wrong with that at all! It helps to gain more knowledge with just what the program can do! 😊
hello professor i want to learn photography can you recommend sony old model camera that is budget friendly and do the job done.thank you
Sony a6000: www.professorhines.com/blog/sony-6000-series-review
you build these point curves? cause I have only 3 defaults. Thx!
Lol, funny someone asked me this on another video as well.
Yes I do. I’ll do a video on how I make those, as many have been asking me about that.
Are your presets for lr/ps only, por can they be used with Affinity as well?
Yes and unfortunately they can’t be utilized in Affinity Photo, I’m afraid.
thank you so much...today I try one of my pic with your setttings on this video and I got stunning result...I would like to show you my pic ,but I dont know how !!!!Please help...
That’s great! You can share it via my Instagram @professorhines
Why is the rating disabled? Makes me suspicious now of everything I've seen. Nice tutorial though but there wasn't much of experimenting. Still the look is great and natural. Brings memories
Why is that suspicious? I just don't like ratings showing to everyone but me, same as comments. I have to approve my comments because I've gotten a lot of racist comments over the years to where I locked my comments.
@@professorhineschoice Sorry you've experienced that in the past. I love your videos and instagram. Much love from Australia mate, keep up the awesome work.
