The floating dock is really working for you. 👀🤔👍🤠🌵
I imagine the boat smells better and better every time you remove old wood. Music from an upturned barbecue, nice!
Super Arbeit und Music!
This is just a tip not a correction on my part. On the planks and Boards in your wheelhouse rub stain on all the edges it adds detail. I look forward to your videos Tom USA
It will also cause the wood edges to be sealed helping to prevent water damage.
I thought your barge was a joke in the beginning. However, for anyone working on their boat it's brilliant. Later I'm sure it will be a great party deck👍👍
That or an old pontoon boat
Hope you are safe with the all the atrocious weather in Germany and surrounding countries.
Love listening to that what you was playing at the end, love the video of course too.
I was playing this Handpan which I also building in berlin. Please let me know if you’re interested and follow #lxhandpan for more details 😉🤟🏼
@@lxhandpan5160 very cool. Just subscribed to your channel.
Gday German Guy.
Love your videos.
Watching from locked down Australia.
Will be buying a boat next year to live on as I love being on the water.
Cheers.
I FOLLOW YOU FROM THE BEGINNING. YOU DO A GOOD JOB AND MAKE THE BOAT SOLID AND LOOK NICE AGAIN. BE WELL👍🛥️
Cardboard templating makes it easier to fit the harder pieces.
Or use the previous board as a template?
Did he leave space between panels for moisture expansion? though I suppose if and when he gets buckling, he can always pull up the effected panels and use that electric planer on them as needed.
I have never seen someone cut such straight lines and profiency.
Congratulations ... this is the real meaning of life ... to follow a dream ... to conquer it and make it happen ... with your own hands ... as it was done in the past ... we need more of that kind of influence !! !!
Praying for the many families affected by the floods ! Hope you are safe !
Hitting those exposed edges at the floor seams with some dark spray paint, would make the edges be less noticable. Nice work, you should be very proud! 🤘😎
And seal them with resin
The Wood is Not Black it is between a dark Brown-Red
@@oghamster4520 -- even still, putting 2+ coats of epoxy on there and then FLAT black pain would or should make some of those seems disappear.
Yes, the wood is dark brown with some red.
There is less light down there - so it would be darker, anyway.
Also, while we are at it, they prob need some heat and sound insulation since the engine is right there.
Carpeting each of them would achieve the same result. Better grip for wet boat shoes too.
**Tip on towing other boats in the future.** While your friend's boat was less length than yours, always position your stern (the boat conducting the tow) behind the towed boat's stern about one or two meters. It will give you much better maneuverability. Nice job on the restoration.
Great job on the floor, don't forget to seal the edges with penetrating sealer, and under side with insulation to reduce engine noise and vibration, hope your OK with the terrible weather, all the best from Aus, Al
Floor looks great even if you are rushing haha. Your friends music is nice and tranquil. Could listen to him play that instrument all day
I was playing the Handpan and I’m proud you liked it 🙏🏻
I’m also building these instruments in berlin Pankow. Please let me know if you’re interested and follow #lxhandpan 🤟🏼
Loved the Hang Drum...the floor was ok!! ;-)
Technno music is the sound of Berlin, and always will be.
Brilliant Job. Be proud!
I love your content my friend; please keep it coming. My best wishes to you and anybody that has the pleasure of being a member of your crew!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello......From America! I really enjoy the music you play with the videos. Also, I Hope you have installed a sufficient Security camera system for added peace of mind on your time away !!
A realy very nice job!👍😎
Your persistence has really paid off in a big way given the extreme difficulty of bringing a boat in this condition back from the dead. Great job on the floor btw! The Reitgewicht as shown in your ground tackle diagram would be called a kellet or sentinel in english.
GREAT JOB ‼️ THE BOAT DOESN’T LOOK ANYTHING LIKE IT DID WHEN YOU BOUGHT IT. SAFETY FIRST ON THE WATER. 🛳. Vinny 🇺🇸
Nice work. You should paint along all the sides on every board you have sawed. To help stop moisture from getting into them. Give em oil paint or some 2 komponent stuff
That floor is a big improvement!
I can really recommend putting these boards on rubber strips. There's nothing as annoying as rattling floorboards when cruising....
Excellent work!
👍👌👏 I especially liked the end this time (handpan music sounded really good). Best regards luck and health to all involved people.
Great job your hurried efforts look better than a lot of people’s best efforts.
hope all that bad flooding has not caused you to many problems, a video on what's going on would be a great idea. show the floods and whats happening at your end. love this video on the new floor
This is one of the few channels that I like before watching. I never regretted it.
Great progress. CAD ( Cardboard Aided Design ) is useful sometimes but we each find our own way. Love the new channel logo with the sticky plaster on the bow.
Roof painted looks great good job
You should seal all the edges of your floor boards with marine epoxy in order to stop water ingress. Cut edges in multilayer engineered ply such as what you are using are very susceptible to water. After you epoxy the edges, it is a simple matter to sand and paint them, providing a very waterproof barrier and attractive edge. As others have suggested, I would also add some damping strips between the boards and the floor framing to keep out some of the creaks and knocks as the boat moves and flexes underway.
Percussion heaven
Yes put as much as possible magnets near your kompass
Nice work again. This is becoming a great build.
I never knew there were entire communities of wandering boat life people. This is great and I want to do this. Excellent idea getting the platform, your own private island!
Great job…I can’t believe you cut free hand with your jig saw…steady as she goes…
Greetings from Brazil.
That floor looks great!
If you like to see the engine, why not flush-mount a perspex viewing panel in your floor? Cool thing to show off to guests. 👍
Concerned about the flooding. Hope the water folk are safe.
First of all, thank you for this jazzy music. I loved it !
Then, if I may say so, you first said that you didn't know anything about boat refiting a boat (actually, your boat is exactely the same I'd love to buy for my project : Paris to Istambul by the canals and rivers, and back by the sea, including Greece, Madedonia, croatia, Serbia, Italy and Corsica). But every move, every thing you're making has obviously thought, and fits perfectly to the objectives. You're clever, man ! You're working as a King ! Every act creates a ripple with no logical end. That's why I'll help you with a kofi, as you have a dream and deserve to realize it. No dream may not be smaller than others, dreams are made to be lived. Bravo again.
Looks good and I love the sound of that instrument at the end. I think you called it a Handpan. Amazing.
Yours episodes are becoming more and more interesting...Just carry on :)
Maybe some iron-on edge banding? It will make the edges disappear.
It wouldn´t hold up to wear and tear. I think he should epoxy coat the edges with tinted epoxy. It would weatherproof and conceal the edges. However we don´t know if he is going to treat the surface of the plywood boards yet? He could veneer them or plank them with hardwood.
The floor looks good, and the roof, pretty spiffy.👌💛❤
Greetings From The UK - well done on the Wheel House Flooring
Like the shiny white paint
Great job👍
19:20 I think we need a full 1h video of this.
The floor is amazing :)
Hi! You should paint the lead, to protect the water from contamination
Beautiful boat restoration, and beautiful music accompaniment at the end of the video.
GOOD JOB ON THE FLOOR!
Nicely done. Enjoying the series
awesome, keep up the great vids
You are an inspiration my friend!
Cool Beans Progress
Awesome floor! Love the music at the end!
Gut gemacht.
Grüße aus Polen.
Nice floor, looks good 👍
Looking good, Really enjoy your videos. Great work 👍
Lads, that was great craic. Thanks for sharing.
A couple of points if I may say, to lift the new boards and touch up the edges maybe with a black sharpie would really help them all to blend in better, also, the table base is crying out to be polished to a nice aluminium finish, but overall your work ethic is fantastic and it looks brilliant, thanks for sharing 👍😃
Wow…very inspiring my friend.
Hope everything is OK were you are
Your Vessel is really coming along nicely 🤩
The color choice for the floor is great.
Your channel has the best soundtracks.
whimsical and detail-oriented
Very nice. Awesome rebuild. Can't wait to see the next episode. Cheers from Belgium 🥂
Great job your doing such great work love how the yacht is coming together.
G'day Crew,,
You made a nice job of the wheelhouse decking,, overall the project is taking shape nicely ,,Do you have plans to tidy up the pontoon dock ,perhaps small lockers for stowage ,and a touch pf paint . Your the man on the river now ,with your real estate growing fast, you can even charge some docking fees to other users ,,
Looking forward to the next episode.
Respect

Down Under
Hi I've been following you from the first video you posted and I love it. The one thing I don't like is the music you use in your videos
Now with this latest one you play the hang drum o man why don't you use your own music way better then the other music you use. Love it man and keep on working on the boat 👍
The music he chooses is perfect.
Mega Videos mein Lieber!
The new floor looks great, well done.
I just found this channel this guys got some skills on the drums. Great job.
Bravo Maestro!!!!!
It looks really good! Nice work.
Great - very impressing! ...
I think your new floor looks great. The only suggestion I would make would be to paint the edges of each panel dark brown or flat black so that the seams are not so visable. but that's a personal preference I guess. I assume that living on the water is cheaper than apartments or homes in Germany which is why it seems to be a growing trend?
hope you and yours are safe and well cheers from australia in lockdown
What a difference, your first boat is looking bette and better! Thanks so much for the wonderful episode
You're doing quite an amazing job! Congratulations!
I love the easy temper from which you take on the different tasks to be done. A lot to take of care still, but great advances. Who is the musician? Liked a lot what I heard. Is there any material from him you can share?
I’m the player and I’m also building these instruments 😌
Please follow #LXhandpan or let me know if you’re interested in one of my instruments. I’m located near pankow 🤟🏼
Lovely boat
Love the sound of the Pantam. Your boat is coming along nicely 👍
Great work!
Outstanding work, you have taken on a big project. We can tell you are having fun on this! Cheers!
Looking great! Nice job on the new wheelhouse decking! Keep it up!
Great job on the floor, well done.
I'm really impressed about those works on you boat, and how you do manage this. And all this in only 7 months? Others need many years for something like that! Respect! And well done! 👍
