This guy is an example for us mexicans, he's very in touch with our mexican roots and also has this international/human uncontrollable spirit that makes him explore and explore without losing his essence. IMO he's the best mexican actor out there.

They skipped over Rudo y Cursi, which is pretty much a spiritual sequel to Y Tú Mamá También…it’s also pretty hilarious. Him and Diego Luna have wonderful chemistry

Him and Diego are friend goals... They make me insanely proud to be be Mexican. Deigo Luna being in a star wars movie made me cry. Can't wait to see what other art they both give us.
Diego Luna is incredibly talented. I live in Mexico. Gael and Diego are immensely popular here as you may know. He was great in Star Wars even though his character was ABSOLUTELY useless.
Coco brought me here, but all I could think while I was watching this was how Diego Luna should have been Ernesto to Gael Garcia Bernals Hector.
Mozart in the jungle is one of my favorite show...i wanted to cry when they canceled it...and just now i hear him say that he misses him made me sad again...

i discovered gael in the mid-2000s (maybe through the science of sleep? i can't remember now.) and made a point of seeing everything he had done. i stopped keeping up with his career after awhile, but i still think he's brilliant.
When Gael said he missed Rodrigo, I literally screamed "I want a final season!". I mean, come on! Amazon!!! give it a proper ending!!! I love Coco, and can't wait to finally watch Old on the weekend.

He's a great actor, a real natural at what he does. There's no artificial technique behind his acting, everything feels so real. And he has such piercing green eyes.
They didn't mentioned Emma, an independent Chilean film, which is excellent. Undoubtedly, Gael is one of those Mexicans that have earned a place in the industry out of pure talent and vision for interesting meaningful projects. As a Mexican myself I always follow his steps and I'm proud of all that he's accomplished.

Wow. One of my favourite actors. He is so bright, genuine, funny and interesting. How refreshing not to hear an actor saying the “like” 3 or 4 times in every sentence 😁

Incidentally, 'Coco' was the first English-language project I saw (or rather, heard) Gael act in. As such, when he speaks English, all I can see in my head is Héctor. 😆 Still, he truly is a phenomenal actor. Like many others, I first saw him in 'Y Tu Mamá También' and have since seen several of his other films. Great video, here! 👏

I binge watched Mozart in the Jungle over quarantine last year.
My sister and I really liked it and were sad to later find out that it had been cancelled
It was a fun show, unique and with a varied group of eccentric personalities. I'll always wonder how it would have ended

I love Gael & Diego, every year since the early 00's I would check on how their lives are doing and if they have movies or shows or guestings coming out that I could watch out for or have missed..I love him & Diego! Hope they stay healthy & awesome as they are. May they have more movies & shows & projects to make as well :)

Originally, I wasn't going to see Coco. But because I saw this in Spanish class, I love this movie.
He is so much like Rodrigo who also inspired the idea that one must have freedom within your own existence. Don't lock yourself in - no matter where you land. I love this actor so much! I agree with a comment below - he will always be my Maestro as well.
