Love that the punt kick is so well protected that selling it like a regular devastating move is somehow a downgrade. Like... if you sold almost any other finisher the way the examples in the video sold it, you'd still be like "damn!"
The People's Elbow is less a move than a taunt. He only uses on people who are already beat and the showmanship of the whole thing is him showing off before finishing things.
This may be an unpopular opinion but i am not a fan of protecting a finisher because if someone protects it then we know that the match is over 5 seconds beforehand before it is actually over. When someone kicks out of the finisher then it brings unpredictability and keeps the audience at the edge of their seat wondering what will happen next and the big fight feel comes from it. Opinions can differ
The Cross Rhodes should've been one of the most protected finishers, grabbing your opponent, spin them around similar to a swinging neckbreaker, and their head/face hitting the ground, the move looks and sounds devastating when it's sold correctly, just like the stunner and the cutter, and heck those moves and others can be reversed into The Cross Rhodes, it can be hit almost out of anywhere, yeah I know not like the RKO, but still The Cross Rhodes looks devastating, it looks more devastating than a lot of moves like the Rock Bottom, the AA, and many more, and it can reverse the RKO that gives it a run for it's money coming out of nowhere, it's DEFINITELY a great devastating finisher that DEFINITELY should've been given more praise and credit then A LOT of other finishers.
A LOT of people will disagree with me, and I don't care, but Gunther's powerbomb finisher doesn't look that good, it looks weak as crap, I can actually see him using the last sympathy as a singular move, along with the shotgun dropkick as well, now I can see him using a one-arm powerbomb as a finisher, and a yokosuka cutter as his MAIN finisher that looks similar to Chad Gable's, Buddy Mathew's, or Damian Priest's move, now that I would see him as a serious threat.
10 least protected finishers Nowadays? Romans Spear, Blue Thunder Bomb, Skull Crushing Finale, Pop up Powerbomb, 619, Trouble in Paradise, Attitude Adjustment, Cross Rhodes, Natalyas Sharpshooter, Phenomenonal Forearmoff the top of my head
I would think the Stone Cold Stunner would be on the list. I only remember Rock kicking out at WrestleMania a few times. As many people as it put down, the numbers were on it's side.

Kind of scary how high in the list the Cobra is...I love it!!!
Punt kicks are actually dangerous
Goldberg's spear/jackhammer combo would have to be right up there. Can't remember anyone kicking out of those once he hit them.
Love that the punt kick is so well protected that selling it like a regular devastating move is somehow a downgrade. Like... if you sold almost any other finisher the way the examples in the video sold it, you'd still be like "damn!"
You missed a big one. Goldberg's jack hammer. Super rare kick out !
I'm surprised that the Doomsday Device didn't make the list. It was THE tag team finisher for a really long time.
Miz kicked out of the powerbomb at war games :O
the other two i can think of that are very protected are the uso’s 1D (only 1 kick out at wrestlemania 39) and la knights BFT. (0 kick outs)
The People's Elbow is less a move than a taunt. He only uses on people who are already beat and the showmanship of the whole thing is him showing off before finishing things.
Chris Sabin is the only person to ever kick out of the 3D. Ironically, he is the first man to beat Bully Ray for the TNA world title.
Surprised Bronson Reed's tsunami wasn't on this list. Never saw anyone kick out of that
8:04 Taker, such a true legend
How was the Razors edge not on this list? Ive heard Scott Hall actually would refuse to do it if it wasnt going to end the match.
That’s probably why it’s not on the list😂
@@DarkPegasus64 The video is about protected moves.....how could a move be more protected then that? Your comment makes zero sense.
@@XxRupturexX nah my comment/joke went over your head guy maybe re read and analyze what I said
Randy Orton's Punk Kick move is one dangerous move . Hope Randy brings it back as his permanent move by stop doing RKO
Why would Randy ever stop using the RKO? And why would u want that?
@@ejdoloBecause supposedly RKO is behind Randy's back problems
Hey now can you do the most kicked out finisher of all time?
I know it's not WWE, but the One-Winged Angel hasn't been kicked out of very often.
Cross Rhodes looks so bad, half of the time the opponent's face doesn't even connect to the ground. Such a dumb move.
@@MrMuschiato 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
@@MrMuschiato but not as dumb as you wasting my time saying crap like that, keep your opinions to yourself.
Except sid vicious kicked out of hogans leg drop because papa Shango was late on run in
Gunther don’t count that fucker hits you with 3 in a row before he even covers you 😭😂
Lmao that’s true 😂
He basically only destroys his opponents cos he does the move 3 times before covering them it can’t count 😂
Next you guys should make 10 finishers that 99.98%of people kicked out of (least protected finishers)
Remember Corbin’s End of Days? And also, Undertaker’s Tombstone is my favorite!
The perfect plex put down a ton of opponents before its first kick out
Santino is going to win the title! Santino is going to Wrestlemania! (Daniel Bryan kicks out-huge pop.) And, MJF could get the People's Elbow over as a finisher now. He got a headlock takeover, double clothesline, and kangaroo kick over as "devastating" moves (the double clothesline more than the others). Reigns probably could, too (in the leadup to a Reigns-Rock match.)
All correct, but I'd put in two moves: Wade Barret's Bull Hammer and Sheamus' Celtic Cross
Jakes DDT looked real af
Nobody was surprised when Drew kicked out of the end of days because everyone knew Corbin wasn't going to win that match lol.
Has anybody kicked out of the KOD?
It’s crazy how all these finishers are BASIC AF!
razors edge and end of days are highly protected finishers mention for clothesline from hell also
So does The Cobra counts as a throat thrust since it's also a Targetting move?
the end of days is a successful move but hasnt got Corbin any title(s) since 2017...its weird
I continue to be baffled how Gunther is elevated as high as he is.
They needs to put Santino in 2k24 dlc pack I love him so much lol
Baron Corbin got done so fucking dirty. Drew didn't need to kick out of that. He didn't need to be dragged back down to NXT. Baron should be in the world title scene. He's incredibly talented, imo he's this generations Dolph.
You should probably do another list. Maybe include Ted Deviosi million dollar dream headlock.😂😂
