1. Biggest Busts in WWE History
2. Worst WWE Wrestler Signings
3. 10 Biggest Wrestling Busts
4. Biggest WWE Fumbles
5. Wrestlelamia
Awesome Kong came at the wrong time
She didn't even have a match. She faked a pregnancy to quit. And the Bellas body shamed her.
Right she wasn’t a bust I’d take her over nia Jax
FACTS.
I do wonder how long she would have lasted even at the right time with her back issues starting to flare up
Gail was one woman who didn't have to worry about lecherous Vince, since he wasn't into Asian women.
Recently Undertaker said on his podcast that Giant Gonzalez makes The Great Khali look like Lou Thesz, that has to be one of the craziest comments I've ever heard in wrestling. RIP Giant Gonzalez.
Yeah rip but Taker said years was taken off of his life and that's his worst match too at Wrestlemania
I remember hearing him say that and thinking "DAMN."
I just checked his hight, its nuts to think someone was that tall. Lucky people those who watched him
Yeah, that line was savage 😎
I’m still trying to figure out what Giant Gonzales, did that was so career ending to Taker in the ring. When you look back at their matches all he did was chops and chokes. He really was limited as a wrestler. He could not be too stiff in the ring because of that era of WWE.
Saying sting wasted his prime years in TNA is crazy him and Samoa Joe were carrying
Sting was actually Prime in TNA
his feuds with Joe/ Angle/Hogan/Main Event Mafia then joining MEM
yeah i think Meltzer is actually running this channel
Don't forget AJ and Kurt/Perc
Yeah, wtf is this guy talking about? Seems like he started watching wrestling 5 years ago lmao, TNA was great until 2012
Austin Aries in TNA was the prime of his career and he delivered, too bad he killed his own career.
What it the stunt that he did that caused him getting blacklisted
@ZACKARDO I'm pretty sure that was one of the reason, but for me it was his fight against Johnny Impact (John Morrison).
Johnny did the Starship Pain, pinned Austin and won the title. The second the fight was over, Austin just stood up and no sold the finisher, flipping people off and just walks out.
This was a big moment for Johnny and Austin ruined it.

@@ImBored-vr6ih If I remember right, Aries & Impact had a small shoot fight during the match because Aries started throwing stuff slaps
He believes that he is better than he is and he couldn't stand the fact that no one wanted to use his ideas, but doesn't share anything that he wanted to do. Probably because it would have either ruined the match or made the other wrestler look bad. He is an egotistical asshat who thinks he's all that and a bag of potato chips, but he's not.
Was one of my favorite wrestlers . Was just sad.
"Biggest Busts", and you show Awesome Kong as Kharma in the thumbnail. I see what you did there, very naughty. 😉😂🤣
And misleading.
😭
i was very confused what this video was about ..
False advertising😂
I thought the same.
Taz never lost any respect with me, his ecw stuff was so good
Very true
Kharma aka Awesome Kong hurt the most. During that time, I didn't really like any of the women's wrestlers besides Beth and Natalya because they all felt so boring to me. When Kharma came, I thought we were getting something different, only for it to be cut short. After finding out how cool she was in TNA, all my reasons for liking her felt validated.
SAME!!! Beth, Nattie and Laycool were my girls back then
Eve or Kelly?
Michelle talked to her husband to killswitch the beth vs kharma wm27 match.
@@Halloffamer-km9qwReally?
@@JustLord5 early Nattie was so athletic and quick, despite her mic skills lacking i really liked her "aura" of her personality
With Gail, there was also the fact that Vince didn't think men found asian women to be attractive.
I was going to leave that very same comment. Instead I will second it. Vince was very wrong about Gail. She's gorgeous. And on top of that, at the time she may have been the best woman wrestler in the business.
Gail Kim has to be on a women's Mt Rushmore. She was so awesome in tna.
i mean in the end she hooked with the celebrity chef
so can you really call her a failure

Sting by far was the biggest bust in WWE history! He was great in NWA/WCW, TNA & AEW but WWE made a mockery of him!
Yep they see him as outsider
💯
AND VINCE BURIED KANYON DUSTY RHODES AND ALL OF THE WCW GUYS post buyout
vince buried ronnie garvin too
Didn't help that he had slated WWE in the past.
Also, if he had been younger...
At least Taz had a great career as a ring commentator. So at least it wasn’t a total waste.

10:45 “Hulk Hogan had personality and charisma. Subtract 95% of that and you get Lex Luger.” Ouch, that was harsh 😂😂😂
Hulk Hogan and Lex Luger are both legends and Luger should be in the hall of fame.
Lex wasn't that bad, he was just way too green when Vince aggressively started to push him as next Hulk Hogan and next face of the company. This naturally had audience turn on him because Vince will never learn that you cannot force who audiences like, something he still did with Roman Reigns even in like 2020.
Vince had good sense of who could be the next big star, he just always went the wrong way about making that happen.
Cain Valesquez is one of worst signing by WWE in last 10 years
Gable Steveson too
Well he was in prison...
Don't forget about Eva Marie.
@@billyc2493Don't forget about Bastion Booger
I wonder if WWE would hire a guy who had "white pride" tattooed across his chest? No, that's racist. But Cain having "brown pride" is just someone being proud of their heritage
You can also include Bobby Roode in the list, great wrestler, future main eventer but he failed in the main roster.
He wasn't a bust.. creative failed him....
He didn't fail the main roster though...he got over then eventually injured lol
It was injuries not creative
Undertakers entrance with the buzzard againt gonzales was awsome❤❤
“Nobody expected Sting to put out classics at this stage of his career”
AEW Sting - “Hold my beer”
Sting got misused in the WWE, nothing will ever change my mind. Dude was called the franchise at WCW for a reason. His talent in the ring and investment in getting his character over would’ve made him a main eventer but I feel that Vince and his good ol boys thought it would humiliate WCW to bury their top guy.
Yup they should have put him up against the Undertaker at Wrestle Mania ,They mess that up big time
Taz could have easily been a main eventer after his match with kurt angle
Not at that time. I remember thinking how badass Taz was in ECW. Then when I saw him stand face to face with Kurt Angle I immediately knew Vince was going to turn him into a jobber based on his size. Vince preferred larger than life monsters. If Taz would have been in his prime during this new generation of wrestlers he would have been a main eventer.
Taz should be in the hall of fame.
Well he can't anymore since he îs with aew.
He really thought they'd let a guy coming from another company dominate their guys . That was his first down fall
Can’t forget about Buff Bagwell. That guy had everything to be a big star for them, but his bullying attitude backstage, along with that awful match with Booker T on raw killed his wrestling career.
he was buff and he was the stuff
then he went to WWE and creative had nothing for him
Having his mom call in sick for him didn't help either.
it was really that awful or it was just wwf fanboys calling it awful because it was wcw?

Oh Jesus. The thumbnail and the title “biggest busts” had me thinking this was gonna be something WAYY different😂😂
Same. Clickbait!
Same!!
I'm surprised Buff Bagwell didn't get a mention since Marcus had things that Vince can sink his teeth into (i mean metaphorically).
Unfortunately, Bagwell had attitude problems and demons (as covered by DDP's channel and the Buff Bagwell episode of Dark Side of the Ring).
Hi. How's a goin?
@kenterminateddq5311 don’t forget to. On top of being a bully backstage and a drug abuser, Bagwell had a terrible match on raw with Booker T and this match ended up killing his career in wrestling.
reasons for failing in WWE:
Kharma - Bad timing
Tazz - Bad Ego
Gail Kim - Bad Timing/Badly Booked
Austin Aries - Bad Ego/Difficult to work with
DDP - Badly Booked/Injuries
Scott Steiner - Not skilled enough/Bad timing/Badly Booked
Sting - Too Old/Injuries
Lex Luger - Not talented enough/Bad Attitude
Cain Velazquez - Didn't give a F about WWE and/or wrestling.
Gable Stevenson - the gamble didn’t pay off. That’s the thing about people like Kurt Angle - a gold medal at the Olympics means you have the foundational knowledge to go far in wrestling, but it doesn’t mean you have the entertainment factor necessary to make it in the business. Fortunately for Angle, he did have the it factor to go with the wrestling skill, but that’s not going to be true of everybody who wins a gold medal.
Awesome Kong TNA run is way better atleast
Awesome Kong and Hamada were great.
Basically Giant Gonzalez was Undertaker's worst opponent in Taker's WM Streak . RIP
Honestly, with a title like "Biggest Busts in WWE History", I thought I'd be seeing a list featuring Trish Stratus and Sable.
Trish Stratus?
@@jstappin Yeah, before the reduction surgery, she had a pretty big bust
Debra and Jackie being #1 & #2 😂
Awesome Kong’s theme was 🔥
That legit scared as a kid like a monster was getting ready to reak havoc. But it was epic!
Tazz came around at the wrong time. People claim he was underrated, but he came to WWF at a time when the midcard was full of talent from Kurt Angle, Jericho, Benoit, Eddie, Hardys, Edge and Christian, Dudleys, and Rikishi were all rising up the card, and what valid argument is there to push Tazz above any of those guys?
Taz would have been interesting in today’s modern times when there is far less stigma on height and the “glass ceiling” is a lot softer. Taz could talk and that’s most of the battle to being successful
Not underrated at all. I think he just doesn’t have the charisma to connect with the or a bigger/mainstream audience. It’s really boring too that he wanted to be the invincible mf and says a lot about his ego and perception. The idea creative had according to Perc A. was suiting him way better.
He was okay at commentary, but I wouldn’t have missed him, if he left back when I was watching wwe.
@@panh91 Taz had mic-skills but ya he wanted to no-sell and be treated like a total monster like in ECW and that wasn't about to happen in WWF nor should it have.
@@scottdaniels8129 the only thing someone just needs to consider: RVD
He wasn't made to be the face of the company yeah, but RVD, I think probably aware of this too, was able to pull off a memorable run in WWE people still remember these days. He played the game and kept hustling, sticking to his own roots though that might be pretty "ECW'ish". He lives and loves it and has such a different outlook on it. I wouldn't wanna assure that RVD's a 100% always nice guy, but he took it like it is and seemed committed.
RVD wrote a part of WWE history, Tazz was sitting next to Cole commentating on it.
That's the difference.
Tazz Wasn't a bust. Vince busted him. Had he come along after fans forced Daniel Bryan's push, it would be another chapter of a legendary story
No he wasn't. He should've gotten the credit he deserved at WWE

DDP is my alltime fave. It broke my heart to see him the liar but you’re right. WWE booked him dirty
i feel bad for steiner. misbooking and drop foot really impacted his ability to impress the crowd.
when Steiner debuted at wwe in 2002 during that time he couldn't keep up because of his injuries in wcw and he botched some moves - never debut elsewhere after having suffering injuries from previous wrestling companies -
Kharma wasn’t a bust at all. She was pregnant and went through some medical issues. WWE didn’t honor her request for her to come back naturally and when she was ready. She spoke about this in an interview around 2023… maybe watch that before making videos like these in which we’re calling someone a bust when they’re not
"creamed his pants", it is hilarious
So True
Do you think guys like gargano, gable dragon lee will be put over if it wasn't for HHH. Vince's Obsession was like some sort of mental issue
Vince hired Rey Mysterio and Daniel Bryan and they had title runs.
He even booked Hornswoggle as his "secret son".
The only reason Vince put over short wrestlers is because of the pop effect they had...
@@dhenderson1810 he booked hornswoggle as his 'son" because it was embarrassing for him to have him as a son... it was (as is 99.99% of what they did with swoggle) because it was a joke.

The image of Gonzales tower over undertaker is pretty iconic tho
That was all he had - image, plus height. He wasn't any better in WWF than he was in WCW. Just a big awkward guy in a wrestling ring, a taller version of Great Khali.
@@ernestcruz6316and both of them debuted at the wrong place and wrong time Gonzalez couldn't wrestle because of his basketball injuries same with Khali he debuted when he became immobile.
@@RomanZ-zy1ef Gonzalez had those issues the whole time he was a wrestler. Plus very little training before he came to the roster, and never learned how to properly work a match. He was just a big dude. He and Khali never should have been signed in the first place.
@@ernestcruz6316 exactly and people with such size like that don't live very long but idk how Khali managed to live through it it's sad Gonzalez isn't alive today but yeah they should have never been signed into wrestling they hardly kept up in the ring they couldn't do moves properly they should have just lived a normal life instead of causing their immobility to get worse.

Anyway Sable!
lets ask Brock Leasnar if sable was a bust..lol
I truly knew Tazz was ruined when him and Spike Dudley defended their world tag title in a dark match or on HEAT before the No Way Out 2002 PPV in Milwaukee I was at
Also its a lot of Vince didn't understand in this video.
I thought 'busts' had a different meaning when I saw the thumbnail.
Ashes to ashes..dust to dust..what is a female wrestler without a bust?
I liked Taz. I thought he had a badass move set & theme song.
...the worst part about Kharma's lackluster run in WWE...because of her atheletism and size...her not being able to perform for the company...led to Vince creating his own Kharma in the form of Nia Jax...
💯
Not really. He had a wm27 match set up between her and phoenix. But michelle mclame talked to her husband to and she was giving snooki at wm27 instead 😤
What makes her run more painful is that Kong(Kia) is such a sweetheart.

If Undertaker hadn't face Giant Gonzalez, I think Undertaker should've faced & beaten Hulk Hogan instead. And I wish that Undertaker could've faced Sting a few times & maybe Sting could've won the WWE Championship at least once for a short time before he got hurt
Scott Steiner was too injury prone
That’s no excuse to bury him
Hhh and Austin are injury prone too
According to Taz, Vince ruined his career and didn't see anything in him is actually because he was big in another promotion. Like he wanted to make home grown stars that when talked about all they would talk about is WWE and not other promotions. Which looking at what they did to DDP I cam believe it. There are some people who got pass that, Like Eddie Guerrero and REY Mysterio, but even someone like AJ Styles, Vince didn't even see anything in him when he joined the WWE, AJ didn't have a slot on the RAW after royal rumble and only got on because of Triple H wanted him to be on the show.
Title and thumbnail almost caught me off guard 😂
TNA Impact had so many great stars. It's sad that so many of them didn't transfer when they went to WWE.
Also, it seemed like Vince just wanted to bury any former WCW stars. Outside of Booker T, most WCW stars didn't have a chance of WWE thanks to their booking. DDP was wasted in WWE. And damn, the destroyed Sting by losing to HHH. They took an Icon and buried him.
Retribution - This could've been The NWO for a newer generation but WWE Botched the group's booking so badly. 🤦🏿♂️

The problem was who was part of the group. Dio Maddin was horrendous in the ring.

Vince ruined Tazz.
Tazz ruined Tazz 🥲
He didn’t. Vince wanted to make Taz an underdog who would rise to the top to be the face of Ruthless Aggression era. Taz didn’t want to be an underdog because that would hurt himself & his ECW fans.
@@PaynetoTheMax-gg1hu so in other words........
@@panh91 image is everything in the business. He was well known as one thing and Vince wanted to change his whole persona.
@@luckilew You can't really blame Vince. Most WWE Fans didn’t even know Taz or his achievements. Pushing a character to the moon at first wasn’t really a smart thing to do. Rocky Maivia, John Cena & Roman Reigns are best examples in this context.
I still haven't forgiven WWF/WWE for absolutely blowing it, so hard, with Taz. That man could've carried the company with his persona. But they absolutely BLEW IT.
Number 1 on the list should have been Xavier Woods, who had the biggest Bust in Page.
and Brad maddox
Luger should go into the HoF while he's still alive
Trish Stratus before the reduction surgery
Also with Taz, Taz had said that he got pushed down the card because of the match with Kurt Angle at the Royal Rumble. He said that when he did a German Suplex that Kurt was supposed to jump, you know to help him with the lift, and they mistimed it so he ended up kind of powering Kurt up and over. And the way he landed was considered dangerous and then he was kind of labeled as being a dangerous wrestler because of that suplex.
It's similar to that back suplex that Shinsuke Nakamura gave John Cena that immediately killed his push if you remember that incident. Great content though, man! Been a fan for quite some time now!
Lex Luger not getting push was unfortunate
You should have put one of the WWF/E ex-model "Divas" from the Laurinaitis days on the thumbnail with THAT title, as a double meaning. You would get more hits than you imagine...

Dr. Death. Always Dr. Death
Steve Williams was almost at the end of his career by the time he got to WWE.
If he came over five years earlier.
I could have written this script for you--I have done extensive research on the bust of every female that has appeared in WWE in the past 15 years.
I still absolutely HATED the Gable Steveson vs. Baron Corbin match at last July’s Great American Bash. The real reason why it was a failure was that it was heavily marred by Steveson’s past allegations that had no evidence found. And the fact that a double count out ended the match at an NXT event just made it even worse. Aside from Ava getting death threats in 2024 over the ordeal with Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Rock, this match alone is also why NXT does *NOT* get a pass, developmental or not. Exactly what I keep saying to the casuals ever since the Raw after WrestleMania 39 was heavily poisoned by a certain someone whose profile from WWE’s website was eradicated following his resignation from the TKO board due to similar allegations, but even worse.
Yet Tony Kahn knew how to book Sting.
Sting should have never gone to WWE. Vince hated the WCW and EB so much he wanted to and succeeded in most cases in burying anyone who was somebody in WCW (probably the only thing that kept Hulk Hogan from same treatment was he was WWF guy first before WCW).
2:49 is a crazy statement and not adding “WWE wrestling career”
Gable Steveson is the worst and most embarrassing failure.
