I think at this point Nicole Byer should be a permanent or alternate judge. Her love and knowledge for drag race extends beyond most other guest judges. Let not forget her comfortability and ability to volley with the other queens.

As someone with EDS, who is also in a wheelchair, MY GOD the pain Yvie must be in. It makes us incredibly flexible, but the joint pain - from early onset osteoarthritis to your hip popping out for no damn reason - kudos to Yvie.

i have fibromyalgia and sciatica and use a wheelchair so i can relate! i adore yvie so much. it’s amazing having someone represent us on such a large platform

Yeah, so much positivity, no bad edits/storyline... this season feels refreshing and easy to watch.
Well it doesn't really feel like feedback or critiques to me, just praise. But I honestly don't mind for this kind of season where everything just seems to be in good fun.

Shea choosing to block Trinity is actually incredibly smart. Trinity literally has the most wins walking into this all winners cast, with 7. Even when they mentioned "what if next week is an acting challenge? Shea should've blocked Jinx", Trinity literally won 2 acting challenges. I'm shocked so many people keep underestimating her time and time again.
I agree. I am totally Team Trinity. As part of the “twinners”, people sadly never give her credit enough for being a winner. She is a FORCE, an allrounder, SO talented and SO funny.

Costume Designer here! Re: Jynx's magic slit. She is wearing a very large bumroll under the main skirt, which gives all that fullness at the hips and back. Next, at least 1 layer, probably more, of petticoats made of very stiff tulle, doubled back at the waistline so it doesn't close in the front. Likely 3 evenly spaced tiers judging by the bump 15" from the bottom. NO hoopskirt. Finally, a liner to hide all that fulling and form the bottom part of the skirt sandwich!
I thought it was one of those Victorian cages, like what Eureka likes to wear. It fills out the sides and the back and frees up the front.

I would watch a five-hour episode of Roberta and Nicole talking about Drag Race. Or baking. Or tax policy. Two of the funniest people out there, both of them just as obsessed with this show as we are. I can't imagine the Drag Race experience without hearing from Bob and his guests. Host another show, Bob, you know we'll all watch.

It's less an elevated version and more like... A response?bc it's not the same but more expensive. It's the opposite. The Marie Antoinette look was taking something traditionally feminine and giving it masculine proportions while making it modern and high fashion.
This look Louis the XIV look is more... Taking an historically masculine look but giving it feminine proportions while making it look historically accurate to the look of a King during his crowing.(Raja means king, so she is not longer serving about to die queen, she is serving long reigning king)
So it's not the same. in fact, it's the exact opposite.

I am so happy with the format they adopted for this season. We will have the pleasure of seeing all these talented performers for the whole season, regardless of the ultimate outcome. I'm looking forward to luxuriating in all this drag excellence we are being gifted with- unlike UK vs the World, which left me feeling infuriated and cheated!

As a costume designer, the way jinkx’s runway works is there was a type of structure common called a pannier that builds out the hips and only the hips. If you add enough fabric after that and like a bit of crinoline, then you’re set.

Shea took a high end designer's garments and by adding her (beautifully done, btw) African influences and accessories turned it into a look wholly of African haute couture. I was stunned to find out that was a designer garment and not one specifically designed for this Black Empress of Excellence. I am sooo impressed! Sorry if I blather on--I have no one to watch and discuss this with but you!

I AM LOVING THIS SEASON! No one's going home so no stress. Everyone's just having fun. Plus each member of this cast has proved themselves already. They are all already icons. There's no pressure and it's a very feel good season. I'm here for it. I don't even care who wins. I'm here for the fun, challenges and the runways!
I also love no stress aspect of this competition it gives them that freedom to truly do there best

@@lisanneke001 I feel like a lot of winners are kind of iffy about competing again because it's stressful and maybe they might get a villain edit or something.
So the show approached a bunch of queens who would definitely say yes (Viv who didn't get any prize money, Jaida who won on Zoom, etc.) to show the others it's just a fun chill time.

Theyre both very polished and colorful. But their esthetics are very different. BLH is more pageant sexy, whereas Shea is more fashion forward sexy and in her words "a love letter to black women"
Alot of Shea's looks are a callback to black culture, some streetwear and lots of historical African references. And clearly BLH does not.

Nicole always looks so good, she is such a great inspiration for the plus size girls and is a perfect guest for Bob.
All the queens are so polished and are great entertainers, but I'm so pleased that Raja is not only keeping up but has proven himself a front runner.
I was hearing all the kerfuffle about Bob not getting selected, and I immediately thought, "She's gonna be hosting Pit Stop." And voila! Also this episode had me falling out of my chair. Love this energy.
