This song is my favorite version of the One-Winged Angel now. They did an amazing job with the Soundtrack for the Remake, so far at least, but this version of One-Winged Angel is one of my favorite songs in Final Fantasy now. Whoever is making the Sephiroth Boss mod for Kingdom Hearts 3, please use this song. Also, if it isn't too much, for Sephiroth's short defeat cutscene. Give him the same animation when you defeated him back in the first game make him move like he's actually injurred instead of in KH2 where he brushed off his shoulder, and maybe have him say "I will... never be a memory." before he disappears.
When I was playing on Hard Mode for the first time, after Chapter 2, I always made sure to prepare myself. On both Normal and Hard difficulties, I managed to beat the Final Bosses on my first try. I've gotten used to the minor tactical combat of this game that I was always careful. Sephiroth was the only boss I beat on my first try, however I still came close to dying a few times if I decided not to do smart moves like heal or make sure Aerith is far away from the enemy at all times and if the enemies are going after Aerith then switch to a different character. Sephiroth was the best boss of this entire game and a pretty balanced difficult like boss as long as you're not charging like a maniac. Funny (but also epic) Story For Hard Mode, I saved my Summon and Limit Breaks for Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith until his final phase where he summons that Meteor that'll one hit kill everyone if you don't hurry. When I was close to his final phase I summoned Behumot. When his final phase started, I used Aerith's Limit to make a shield for the entire party before I got Cloud and Tifa close to Sephiroth and use their Limits on him. Surprisingly, using both Limits killed him in seconds. In case the Limits weren't enough to take him down, I was gonna wait until Behumot used his Mega Flare when the Summon Gauge was empty. If you've completed everything it's randomized who joins you. Otherwise it's based on what you've done and where, but idk specifics because I got everything done
@@finalfantasyfordays127 It's not randomized... it's based on who you had a ''special'' moment with. If you had the Tifa cutscene, she'll appear first. If you had the Aerith cutscene, she'll appear first.
@ShadowHunter31 yes, those are part of it. But not the only factors. Sidequests has to do with it as well as which dress both girls ended up with. But if you've done absolutely everything, it is totally random, because I've replayed that fight tons of times and they never join in the same order twice in a row. If it really was just about the cutscenes as you say, Aerith SHOULD join me first every time, yeah? But she doesn't. Ergo, it's randomized.
Unpopular opinion, but phase 3 and 4 get a little *too* frantic and intense. It's fine on its own, but if the final boss is anything like FF7's, then One Winged Angel might be turned into hyper-intense overkill at that point.
I always liked Sephiroth's sword better than Cloud's. It's still completely impractical and trying to use it in a fight without, at the very least, Spiderman-level strength would get you killed, but at least it's something I could lift, and something that wouldn't overbalance the human frame due to leverage and physics no matter how strong you are. I mean, Cloud's sword has to weigh several hundred pounds. Someone superhuman could lift it, but not balance it. It's a dog-wagging tail.
Sephiroth sword is based on Sasaki Kojiro, famous swordsman, sword called a Ōdachi. These were longer and heavier Japanese swords. Sasaki Kojiro was a peerless swordsman who killed hundreds of people with this type of sword. There were martial arts for all these types of weapons in feudal Japan, now lost to time.
@@DaveC2729 well obviously it’s an exaggeration of a historical weapon but Nomura literally designed Sephiroth based on Sasaki Kojiro, and pretty much the entire game is based on Japanese tropes
Its a shame the ending be like that. This redinction of one winged angel is absolutely increadible, final boss is verry good too. But the ending was such a disappointment, i dont want the original story to be changed too much
The structure sequencing in this arrangement irritate the hell out of me. The fact it takes 4 minutes (Like Jenova) for it to play through a straight arrangement of the original structure is maddening. The only saving grace the initial 4 minutes have is that it's a fun play on the fact that in this case the original song was several separately composed sections thrown together with trial and error until it worked. This still doesn't have anything on the Advent Children arrangement either. The use of generic sampled Orchestra percussion (And not true live instruments) in the majority of the song is extremely disappointing.
In my personal opinion it works quite well due to the context. This fight against this Sephiroth should not even happen, but it occurs since Sephiroth is trying to alter the flow of destiny, which is why the song is not like the original, it is chaotic, messy, due to what Sephiroth is trying to achieve, create chaos on the timelines. The Advent Children version would only work in Advent Children due to the context in which it is played and the same for Nobuo Uematsu's original composition for the original 1997 game, and the remake being obviously a remake changed things (For better or worse) and this arrangement is proof of the changes made to the game's story
@@TommyZawa That and they don't want to give us the full theme this early on. These bosses are merely a prelude to the true fight. I imagine as we encounter them in the subsequent games they'll have different versions until they build up to the original arrangement (Just, y'know, not arranged with the limitations of a PS1)
No, because it's only Sephiroth's human form. In the original, you fought Sapher Sephiroth, and other bizarre forms of him, but never his human form. It doesn't cheapen it at all
@@Judah_Katzenberger LOL you mean the one at the end, in Cloud's mind? That doesn't count because it's a automatic win. it's not an actual fight. All you do is use one Omnislash and that's it

還是覺得舊版的比較好聽,氣勢磅礡。

Unpopular opinion, but phase 3 and 4 get a little *too* frantic and intense. It's fine on its own, but if the final boss is anything like FF7's, then One Winged Angel might be turned into hyper-intense overkill at that point.
the version of dissidia is still the best
i cannot hear this without mentally inserting DK Rap....
i cant hear this without seeing breakdancing sephiroth in my head
Miss the sinister aspect of the sing.
how the f*ck they'll top this shit by the end of the Remake
@@RavusNox-z5i I doubt this Sasaki's odachi was twelve feet long.
@@DaveC2729 well obviously it’s an exaggeration of a historical weapon but Nomura literally designed Sephiroth based on Sasaki Kojiro, and pretty much the entire game is based on Japanese tropes
@@RavusNox-z5i Fair enough.

Im the only one who getting Harry Potter vibes from this
Its a shame the ending be like that.
The use of generic sampled Orchestra percussion (And not true live instruments) in the majority of the song is extremely disappointing.
it still works since the fights in the game have three stages, right? I mean is still super cool.
It starts playing at exactly the part he grows the wing, which makes total sense to me.
someone has never heard of a leitmotif 😐
Omg this version is so repetitive…
This fight did not make the game better. Blowing the Sephiroth wad at the end of the first game cheapens the character.
No, because it's only Sephiroth's human form. In the original, you fought Sapher Sephiroth, and other bizarre forms of him, but never his human form. It doesn't cheapen it at all
@@DanTheMan33088 Umm, yes you do. It's a one-on-one fight with Cloud. And this dude isn't even Sephiroth. It's a fake clone.
@@Judah_Katzenberger LOL you mean the one at the end, in Cloud's mind? That doesn't count because it's a automatic win. it's not an actual fight. All you do is use one Omnislash and that's it
@@DanTheMan33088 It's not in Cloud's mind. It's the actual final fight. A cinematic, scripted fight, yes, but the real deal.
@@Judah_Katzenberger Still, it's an automatic win. All you do Is press X and that's it. Doesn't count IMO
This ending was so stupid
I'm really surprised at how pathetic this is. Yes it looks visually OK, but the physics is terrible. I see shepiroph being hit, and being pushed back in the style of an early ps1 game.
