Oh my goodness Fil, you saved the best for last, for sure! This was great, Morris is a hoot! I loved the story about Prince's guitar tuning and Morris' keyboard dying, and Prince telling him to throw it down and make a show of it! I'm not surprised you two talked for so long, clearly Morris is a big music geek too, that look on his face when you told him that Freddie Mercury had been auto-tuned! I also found it interesting that Morris said something that I say in medicine all the time, "just because we can, doesn't mean we should." And a great final message as well. Thanks so much for this, both of you!

    Hi Fil,
Another amazing installment of this interview. Prince = genius, Robin Williams = Genius, Richard Pryor = Genius. I have always thought Robin Williams was a genius, and how things just seem to rivet in his mind. No one can even come close to these guys because they were as Morris said, operating on a different frequency then us mere mortals… such great stories, memories and experiences Morris shared with us. But most importantly that music knows no boundaries! And it takes hard work and practice, determination and dedication to the art. I believe Morris was saying to strive for excellence in whatever you do. What an inspiring and motivational interview. And his admiration for you, the channel and your musical gifts are a true testament in recognizing all that you do and so graciously share with your Fans. I for one am in awe and so happy you were able to speak with Morris and talk about his time with Prince. You Are The Best…Love you! Debbie ☮️🥰

Wonderful video series Fil. Learned so much, especially looking back on music and how I took so much for granted when I was young. His mention of dedication and knowledge of his craft is so important in any profession or industry. If we can learn what we do well and master it, then we can find that niche where we can do the most with what we have been given. Sometimes I think we spread ourselves too thin trying to do too much. Prince is missed, but we still have his music. This journey was a real joy. Thank you and Morris for taking us on it. ❤

Prince was a musician master, genius who surrounded himself around musician genuineness. He listened to all kinds of music genres. Prince pushed himself musically and also mastering sound frequency. He tapped into the spiritual realm with his music art ,absolutely. Im truly phenomenal . Im amazed. Morris give some very insightful life lessons on difficulty levels

This interview has been so interesting, fun, and educational. I have learned you really need to know how to be flexible - even when someone messes up your guitar or your keyboard breaks. The other lesson, as we say "if if ain't broke, don't try to fix it" could definitely be applied when it comes to autotuning a voice like Freddie Mercury's. As cool of a cat as Prince was, I would never have tried to screw up his guitar tuning. Thanks, Fil, once again. ❤

Thanks again, another splendid video. Morris you are so spot on. You mentioned earlier The American band stand, at 21 years old, if you could believe it. Prince's guitar strap broke and his guitar fell to the ground. He continued his show as nothing happened, I bet most people watching it didn't even notice. He was still a baby with the wisdom of an old soul even then. I've wondered HOW? Prince through the years threw his microphone down to the ground and picked it up and sang in it, how did it keep working? He was a bad boy, always kicking and throwing his microphone down. That's why the girls loved him, A bad boy. Morris what are you up to now? Music wise.
